Way too dark
-06.09.13
Quick Take: disappointing
At first I was optomistic, it left my hair very soft and it didn't leave any chemical odor. But the color was almost flat black not Medium brown, as advertised. I colored my hair on the 18th of May. It is now the 9th of June and I have almost 1/2 inch of grey roots. Extremely disappointed.

Constantly out of stock.
-03.24.13
The color is great, however, Sephora doesn't do a good job with keeping it in stock. I constantly have to either order like 6 packages at a time so that I have enough in case Sephora is out of stock or purchase it directly from Color Couture. Sephora, please, get your business together and order enough product for the demand.

Long lasting
-03.23.13
Quick Take: worthwhile
I was a little skeptical when the final step said to wash my hair, but the color has lasted and there is no fading. I think it has actually improved my hair. I have nothing negative to say, except it is a little pricey.

Worthwhile
-02.22.13
Quick Take: superb, smells great
I have just tried this coloring so I can't evaluate how well the color lasts, but I really like the color. It is a fairly dark/medium brown, but has no hint of red for which I am grateful. I wish the box mentioned using a dish for the application with the brush. I love the Pequi oil, but it should be used sparingly! Great scent is a bonus!

Love it!
-01.22.13
I've been coloring my hair for over 20 years and this is the best home hair color I've ever used. It makes my hair actually feel better and look better after coloring. My hair is normally medium brown, but this hair color is a little dark so I use the medium golden brown and it is perfect.

good color
-01.15.13
I found this color to be more of a golden brown than the light brown which is sort of ashy. I was afraid to try it do to other reports of it coming off as black; however, I think I got one of the newer batches of color after an adjustment had been made for this did not come out black or near black on me. It is pretty and does pick up the light. I hope they don't change it again.

Formula change
-12.19.12
I have been using the medium brown monthly for over a year, but I was disappointed with my last two colorings. The results were more golden brown than the darker brown I used to achieve. I contacted the manufacturer and they said they changed the formula so it is lighter. They suggested that I buy medium brown and dark brown and mix them together. I do not want to mix them with chance of possible error. I will try just dark brown next time and hope it isn't black.

A gentle hair dye for sensitive skin
-12.18.12
After reading some reviews about the darkness of the medium brown I decided to order the golden medium brown directly from couture colour. I love the color. The dye smells good and it was gentle on my scalp. I have a horrible reaction to all brands of hair dye regardless of ingredients but this brand was by far the best. I have minimal irritation. My hair is soft and shiny and it absolutely covered my grey.
It is expensive but given my sensitivity to other products I will continue to use this.

Too Dark
-11.08.12
Easy to use but the color is way too dark. Instead of Med brown it came out soft black. Looked a little dull also because of the darkness. Color last very well however.

the formula was changed?
-11.08.12
I was buying this color (Med Brown) since the first day sephora got it and as everybody i had much darker resalt than medium brown but i liked it. reacently i bough one from CC website direct and the color came out very light, exact medium brown. And, yes the little bottle of month worth of oil is now tiny packet that is not enough to apply if you have long hair.

Even more expensive than before
-11.06.12
This is a good product HOWEVER : it used to come with a small bottle of the Pequi oil and now they only give a sample packet ?! This is SO disappointing. This product is very expensive compared to other hair colouring products, and it is just not right.
In addition, very disappointed that Sephora seems to always be out of stock

not the color on the box at all - disaster
-10.22.12
I have med brown hair w/some gray. I chose the med brown. I've been coloring my own hair for many years, and this is the first time the color that resulted has been so off. It's very near black. And dull black, to boot. As others have had success, it must be a quality control thing, but I'm not going to chance it again. Back to Feria for me.

Luxeblend
-10.07.12
Luxury in a bottle. Wonderful color that lasts and doesn't fade out. However my Sephora is no longer carrying the hair color. I am very upset because the sales associate said that it did sell. Dumb decision! Put it back in stores, I hate to wait for online delivery.

medium brown
-09.26.12
I truly loved this color. It leaves the hair really nice and soft and covers grays. It lasts weeks and does not fade. I was initially scared by the reviews that say it is way too dark. It is a little dark at first, but after a few washes it becomes a lovely brown. I'll re-buy it!

Healthy Haircolor in a box....finally
-09.12.12
This is an excellent haircolor product. The only issue is that you should go one shade lighter than the shade you'd like or you should leave on for a total of 15 minutes ONLY. I'm not sure why certain colors aren't in stock all the time which is an issue. I order 3 boxes each time they're in stock. I use the bottle application which is easiest because hair I have a chin length bob so it's difficult just to color the roots and wait until the ends so I do the best I can but don't leave it on as long as instructed so I don't damage the ends and it doesn't get too dark. The color is rich and looks healthy until my next color.

Easy as chocolate cake
-08.19.12
Quick Take: easy, pleasant smell, rich color
As a pretty new at home colorist, Luxeblend was easy to use and the results were great! Compared to other store bought brands, this definitely made my hair shinier and the color was richer. Only 4 stars because it faded fast.

Too dark
-08.01.12
I have dark brown hair and after reading the reviews of the dark brown being way to dark, i went for medium brown. My hair was this close to black! It was soo dark. I have definately gotten a much better color job from drug store brands.
