Luxeblend hair color & Pequi Oil
-10.28.12
Quick Take: specially calming & comforting, bringing shimmer to hair, excellent experience
The color is very good on the scalp. The pequi oil serum and the treatment with the oil after wash, is a great aromatic exoperience; it leaves a feeling of well-being so sweet, I cannot explain it. I love the way the color softly transforms grey hair to shimmering soft black color. I am delighted with this product.

Awesome color
-09.27.12
My hair was bright brown then I wanted to change my color since fall is coming. Then I read these reviews, I Didnt want to ruin my hair since I have many splits already. this stuff is amazing, I got shiny, dark hair...feels like I paid for hair treatment not coloring.

love this black!
-08.29.12
Quick Take: true black, beautiful, easy to use
I usually have bright colored hair, but it requires visits to the salon I am really tired of.
I decided to dye my light pink hair black, unsure of how the results would be because it is a bigger hair color gap than you are supposed to do.
The results were jet black and healthy hair! I get tons of compliments on this black. I will continue to use this product until I decide I want colored hair again.
Best box hair dye because it smells good and is easy to work with. The black is beautiful and dark, I dont know why they call it "soft".
Right after you dye it, you will have a few showers of a brown color.
I went swimming about a week after I dyed it and the color was completely unchanged with the chlorine after a deep conditioner.
This box dye gives a salon finish.

Easy to use and great coverage!
-08.27.12
I normally get my hair done at the salon but due to work and travelling, I really needed to get my hair done but couldn't get to a salon any time soon. Saw this at Sephora and decided to give it a try. It was easy to use and left my hair nice and soft. I've never done my own hair before and this was great even for amateurs like myself!

Shiny!
-07.09.12
I love how shiny and pretty this made my hair! I dyed it at night and went to sleep with damp hair, so I didn't see the results until I woke up. I went from medium brown to black and it looked awesome. The color was shockingly black but flattering, with a ton of shine. It's been about 3 weeks and it looks more like very dark brown now but I still love it. The pequi oil that comes with it is great! I have thin hair that gets oily and the pequi oil still did well with my hair type. I will buy this again, worth the price.

its good
-04.01.12
so... i love the color, shine and last but i had a really hard time with the smell. :(
it's not ammonia-esque or anything, just a fragrance that was unappealing and stuck on my hair for a couple days, which was a bit overwhelming.
beyond that, i love every single other thing about this hair color. the packaging was thoughtfully considered, i used the bottle that came in the package instead of a separate mixing bowl, and the color came off my skin easily so I didn't look like Eddie Munster for the rest of the day. Good stuff.

Better than Average At Home haircolor
-02.06.12
I tried this color as an in between salon visits touch up. It definitely is dark. The color though hid my stubborn greys in the front and my hair felt very soft. Make sure to get a mixing bowl before getting started as the kit does not include one.

Very pleased!
-11.28.11
I have been using loreals healthy look hair dye for the last year because I don't want to use permanent color. It has been good but fades too quickly and doesn't cover grays that well. So when I saw this I thought although it's triple the price i would give it a try. So far so good...the color is rich and shiny, covers grays, and doesn't seem to be fading as quickly. I have noticed I've lost some hair in my brush not sure if it's because I left the dye on too long or if it even has anything to do with it.

Very nautral color. Its difficult to find a black color that doesn't look brown in the sun. This ia a true black. Its very natural, especially for asian hair. It also covers gray very well.

Nice rich color but definitely leaves hair dry
-08.02.11
Quick Take: good value, rich color
The color is great. I've washed twice already and the soft black still has a nice rich color. I felt I needed a deep oil conditioning because my hair felt extremely dry after the application.

Great grey coverage
-07.31.11
Quick Take: great for grey coverage saving $$$$ on the salon
Have coarse dark brown hair that tends to be dry. Also have stubborn greys... used this 2 weeks ago and no fading, complete grey coverage. I do think it left my hair a bit dry, I may have processed it a bit too long. I have found most haircolor, even at the salon, will lighten up after awhile, this does not, so I would maybe go a shade lighter next time.

I've been trying to find a brand that wouldn't be too harsh on my ultra sensitive skin. I'm still waiting for something more organic but this is a great alternative for now. Great price, naural color, and completely covenient. Go try it you will not regret it!

smells very nice
-07.02.11
the box did not state the strength of the peroxide after contacting the store and the company found out it is 20 vol which for me is kind of strong. I normally use between 10vol and 15 vol to cover gray. It might be good for someone that is over 50% gray. It made my hair a little dry cause I have curly hair but used the oil which is awesome and very conditioning to the hair.

Quick Take: not at all what i expected!!!
I was not satisfied with the outcome. The color was dull and not as dark as I expected. The color did not last at all. After the first wash, my natural color began to show.

The shade is pretty dark, but does the job to cover color treated hair and also covers the grey.

Quick Take: natural looking
had never tried this brand on my hair and it has been a couple years since i colored my hair but when i used this my hair came out gorgeous. i have odd hair though, anytime i use any type of hair color whether permanent or semi the color will come out in every shower till im back to my natural hair color (bout 2 weeks). its very frustrating having hair that wont hold color but i thought id give this a try. ive had it for about 2 weeks already and after every shower i can still see that my hair is going back to its original color, this was my last try with hair dyes. but for those who's hair does take to color i would highly recommend this product. hair looks naturally black and the pequi oil it comes with makes my hair so shiny and soft after blow drying. great product!!
