Unfortunately I had an allergic reaction to this cream. Scent is milk and absorbs well. Wish the cream would have worked for my skin.

I used this product for over a year and immediately it worked better than Retinol A. It worked so well that I have completely stopped using Retinol A. It absorbs well and keeps my face nicely moisturized. I did recently switch though to the firming & lifting moisturizer and will try that one for awhile. So far it is also an excellent product.

This is hands down the best moisturizer I have ever used on my skin which is very dry. After just one use my skin seemed to have a clarity that it had been lacking for a long time.

This moisturizer is great! Perfect for my combo skin that still breaks out from time to time but also need anti-aging. This soaks right in and in the morning i wake up to beautiful skin.

I love this stuff. I've used it for nearly a year now and it's perfect on my combo skin. I use to have a monthly breakout and parts of my face would be flaky dry. Algenist has somehow balanced it all. I no longer have these problems. It is pricey but you are getting what you paid for. At my age, if I want to age gracefully, it requires paying for what gives me the best results.

Okay, so I was first introduced to Algenist through a 100 point sample. It was a different moisturizer but it did a great job.
First thing to note: The smell
I'm not fond of the smell. It's a distinct chemical smell. It's not super strong but it's definitely there. Past the smell, I don't mind it that much on my face.

I have normal to dry skin. I've had my patchy dry skin days and my normal cooperative days. The moisturizer works well and keeps my face moisturized throughout the day.

It made my skin look youthful. I just turned 24 so my skin is still young you could say. But even with the lotion, it really showed off my skin's potential. With this moisturizer, I'll have to update my results.

What made me come back after considering Shiseido and other competitors is how much I loved the effect of their lotion from the sample I received. At the time, I didn't have money to pay for a $90 replacement after the sample was done. I was only a college student! Too much for a college student to afford.
Now that I can finally afford it, I finally invested in another Algenist moisturizer. My complaint is that for a $90 moisturizer, I opened the bottle to find that at least 1/5 bottle was empty! Really?! Seriously?! I don't even know if I can trust to buy them from again. I bought Clarins Multi-Active Night Youth Recovery for my night regime and the bottle was full to the brim! And for a third of the price.

I am new to writing reviews, but this moisturizer really works. I got the eye balm first at the suggestion of a Sephora consultant in the store and I now keep one on my desk and another at home.

I have really oily skin and have tried everything on the shelf to help me with my acne scars and texture. I've even tried Proactiv, spending a lot of money on something that just was not working. I got the last bit of "tester" samples to take home of this four days ago and my skin has never looked or felt like this before! Even after applying it the first night, my skin already looked soft,smooth and less blotchy making me feel fresh. I use bare minimum of it, dip two of my fingers right on the surface and apply that to all of my face in the morning and at night. That's all it took. I've never loved my skin like this before. I am definitely anxious to buy the full product.

I have tried a lot of products, but when I got a sample of this one at the store I rushed back to get jar. My skin is sensitive, dry and aging.it absorbs easily, smells great and makes my skin smooth and my pores just disappear. I recommend this highly.

The texture is great, it sinks right in and leaves my skin very soft. I have used several products in this line and have been impressed with all of them. I've been trying to take good care of my skin since my 20's, so it's hard to say if this works in any revolutionary way, but I am pleased with the results so far...

Quick Take: hydrating improves skin quality, no breakouts
I've been using this product for 2+ months & love the results. My skin quality is definitely improved: smooth, supple, and bright. I rotate this and their Firm & Lift as my AM moisturizer. The moisturizer is silky (absorbs well), hydrating & gives a nice glow. The Firm & Lift is less moisturizing but it delivers on it's name. For PM, I rotate the Firm & Lift with this brand's Overnight Moistur (which is a lush, intense repairing cream). I should also mention that i use a nightly alpha-hydroxy peel nightly, too. None of these products have caused me to breakout (which is practically unheard of) & help heal anything that pops up while trying other products (ie. I'm still looking for a foundation). I sure wish these products were less expensive, but I'm willing to pay based on the results I'm getting, my face hasn't looked or felt this good since I turned 40 a couple years ago. 'Hope you like it as much I do - it sure is tricky finding that perfect skincare cocktail that's just right for each of us :-)

I debate spending the money on this. I loved the sample but it just seemed so pricey. But I broke down and got it, and I'm so happy I did. My skin never has looked better, its soft and moist looking. If you are on the fence buy it I'm sure you will be pleased.

I was looking for a new face cream - one that I could use day and night. I had been planning to look at another product but the sales rep. directed me toward this one. She sold me on it and I tried it. It is perfect for my skin - which is a little dehydrated - gives me the moisture and firming that my skin needs.

This is the first moisturizer I've been able to wear comfortably. Love the texture & smell. My skin looks the best it has in years after only a few weeks of use. I will continue to explore other Algenist products.
