Another Excellent Product from Algenist

Quick Take: hydrating smoothing soothing easy to use, effective brightening improves skins texture, leaves skin feeling silky excellent value
I added Algenist Multi-Perfecting Pore Protector Gel Moisturizer to my daily skincare regime with excellent results. Although it’s a moisturizer I use it more as a treatment product. My morning routine goes like this:
After exfoliating I apply serum to which I add high-potency Vitamin C Powder, next is Algenist Pore Corrector Gel, then moisturizer, sunscreen, and finally primer. I try to wait 5 minutes between products to allow each to absorb.
The Algenist Pore Corrector Gel feels silky smooth and is soothing to my skin. I have noticed an overall improvement in the texture of my skin and my pores seem to be diminishing. However, I would continue to use the Algenist Pore Corrector Gel even if there was no change in my pores because it feels so good and is beautifully hydrating.
Algenist has once again given us a product of the highest quality with an insane value. At 2 ounces it is twice the volume as most other moisturizers, which are generally 1 ounce. It is $90, or $45 an ounce. Plus, a little goes a long way. A small amount is all that is needed. I highly recommend this product.

Doesn't work with my makeup

Quick Take: doesn't work well with makeup
I was using the original moisturizer for a year and then switched to this one to get a little SPF added. But it doesn't seem to absorb into my skin and my makeup starts to flake off. I went back to the original to test it again and it is fine so it must be the addition of the SPF. I'd recommend more work on this product.

Different formula than previous

I bought my second jar of Regenerative Anti-Aging Moisturizer SPF20, since I loved the first one. This time around, the consistency is more greasy, smells like regular sun screen, color is white (previous one was light yellow-making me think that is coming from active ingredient). Didn't want spend $90 on not-so-special SPF cream. Still love other Algenist products, but this one will be returned.

I have fallen in love with the Algenist product line! I can apply these products as heavily (or minimally) as I want, they're non-irritating, and I don't break out! (Living in a dry climate, it is tough to find products that meet all my requirements.) And, I'm especially pleased because I do not wear foundation, and my skin is already reflecting an improvement (less visible sun spots and fine lines) after using Algenist products for about two weeks. Oh, and the SPF 20 is perfect for daily use in Arizona, and it doesn't compromise the texture of the moisturizer. Yippee!

Quick Take: soothing soft easy to apply
I started using this product when I purchased a kit with several pieces in it. I really like it--feels good on the skin. I don't have horribly dry skin so maybe it wouldn't be so good for somebody who did. I am 70 years old and don't expect to look 45 again!

I used this moisturizer for about 6 months and then decided to try something different because the price was so high. After two months of using another cream I am back to Algenist and I won't switch again.
I have very sensitive, oily, break-out prone skin along with regular aging issues, so finding a moisturizer that works for me is a real pain. While using Algenist twice a day my skin looked so good I often skipped foundation and actually felt like I had "good" skin for the first time in my life. If I had a breakout and put Algenist on it at night, by morning it was minimal. Seriously, this is excellent stuff. A little goes a long way for oily skin. Keeps skin looking great all day. Worth the price, no doubt about it.

Little too greasy??

I bought whole a lot of Algenist products for my husband who is in his mid 40s. He really likes the Firming and Lifting cream along with firming and lifting eye gel. However, he just doesn't seem like that he likes using this one. I know that he needs SPF during day time as he's always in and out, exposed to sun in California, but he prefers applying his Firming and Lifting cream all the time- day and night- instead. He says this Algenist Anti-Aging Moisturizer SPF 20 is too greasy and he doesn't like the feeling on his face. On top of that, his skin is pretty dry!

Just bought my second jar, which is saying a lot considering $90 is a substantial amount for me.
This moisturizer really makes a difference, got rid of "sun spots" on my face and reduced fine lines. Absorbs quickly and feels light weight.

This is the 1st moisturizer I truly see results from. Goes on light and non-greasy. I have used the version without SPF, and was pleased that this felt the same. And no funny scent from the SPF, which other lotions have.

I love this moisturizer! Yes, I know that it's not filled all the way (like an air bubble or something) accept it and move on. The stuff is incredible! It goes on creamy and light and, boy, does it work! My enlarged pores have virtually diminished. The texture of my skin is like a baby's bottom. I will never go back to another moisturizer. BTW, I use it around my eyes (I know you aren't suppose to) but I do and there is no irritation whatsoever. Can't say enough about this product. You must try it for like a month to believe the results! Pricey, yes, worth every penny, YES!!

I've tried so many high-end anti-aging skincare products and this is my current favorite moisturizer. I layer it over my serum and it eases into my skin, I use it for my face and neck, and it gives my skin a soft, smooth texture. I only notice a slight scent when I open the jar, never notice it once applied to my skin. To amplify the benefits, I recommend using the Clarisonic cleansing brush at least once a day. This product might be best for women in their 30s on, as it is slightly heavy and might overwhelm younger, oily prone skin.

This face moisturizer has been the most amazing find for me! I have fair, sensitive skin with freckles and my skin is so sensitive and picky about the lotions I use on it, but this moisturizer has been perfect from day one! It is never sticky, thick, or heavy. The moisterizer glides on and absorbs quickly to a satin smooth finish. The SPF 20 is a added bonus that makes it easy for me to protect my skin daily. This face moisturizer even handles 100+ degree heat without a problem! I will continue to buy this and recommend it highly!

Its lightly scented, light weight, and absorbs quickly. Works great alone or over other serums and creams. It never gives any added film, shine, or heavy feeling over my vitamin c, serum, and moisturizer. I love that it plays nice with my primer and tinted moisturizer too.
As for antiaging properties, it hasn't done much for my fine forehead lines nor the lines between my eyes. Its too pricey for a excellent SPF however, if I dont find one that works just as good, I will find myself splurging on this one. =/

I use dally with SPF and night the serrum and cream. When Kinerase was sold and lost it's restoriitive properties the sales gal at Sephora suggested this line and it's doing great with my dry skin.

Love this stuff! So moisturizing but doesn't leave a white sunscreen film on the skin. I love the smell of it too. My skin always feels a little tingly when I put this on, but not irritated at all. I'm 26 years old, so I can't comment on the anti-aging properties of this product, but I really love how it feels. I got this as a deluxe sized 100 point perk, and it's pretty pricey, but I might buy it once in a while anyway because it's pretty awesome.
