Great Hairspray for hard to hold hair

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky
My hair is heavy and flat by nature and this is the first hairspray I have found (thanks to the Sephora clerk) that holds well but is not stiff. My hair is soft after using. Highly recommend! Last a long time also because you don't need to use a lot.

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky, frizz fighting, long lasting
This spray has been a miracle for my wavy, frizzy, curls-when-wet hair! My hair just turns into a huge wavy, frizzy disaster if there is any moisture in the air so I needed help BAD. This stuff is awesome. I spray a generous amount most days of the week (other than winter - it is dry in Maine) and the bottle has lasted a year just about.
It doesn't make it too hard if you work it through your hair. I also find it makes my hair shiny if I do that, though that doesn't seem to happen every time I use it - it is like hit or miss with my hair. But I have really annoying, high maintenance hair so maybe that won't happen to you. Overall, it's been a godsend.

I wanted a hair spray that doesn't smell bad, that holds but doesn't look stiff. I am so happy with this hair spray! I can't say enough good about it. The only other hairspray I have liked costs at least twice as much. I live in a humid climate so that puts another requirement on the hair spray.

Good hairspray, but not exceptional

I bought this hairspray because I bought the Bamboo Volumizing Shampoo and Conditioner, and the anti-humidity feature was appealing. This is a good hairspray, but I'm not sure yet if it works any better than the spray I buy at the local salon. My hair doesn't frizz in the humidity, but I attribute that more th the shampoo and conditioner than the spray, because it doesn't frizz when I use the salon spray, either. Also, this hairspray is a little heavier than I usually like. I like that the scent is not overpowering and dissipates quickly.

Alterna Bamboo Anti-humidity hairspray

Ladies, I have never been able to find a hairspray to hold my baby-five straight hair in the Florida humidity until now. This really works!!!!! I actually have body and volume in my hair, and it lasts more than 20 minutes. No really, it holds my hair pretty much all day and THAT'S never happened before. Smells nice and isn't sticky. Love, Love!!

Quick Take: humidity-resistant, strong, hold, sticky, awesome
I live in Houston (80-100% humidity) and have very curl-resistant hair, but with this hairspray I can curl my hair at 6am and it will still be just as curly at 6pm! This is the only hairspray that has ever held curl in my hair! It is a little sticky and can make your hair feel crunchy, but the hold is worth it to me. If you're going for a light hairspray that you can't feel to the touch, this is not it. Personally, I LOVE this stuff!!

Attn: All the curly girls out there that want to maintain their freshly flat ironed hair RUN don't walk to purchase. Its the bomb. I have thick, moisture loving curls & this spray kept my hair sleek & straight all day. I live in NY & it rained today with 70% humidity darling I get it. IT WORKS

Love this hairspray. I am all about the hold and used to used big sexy hair, but it tended to damage and dry out my hair. This hairspray has a great hold and is delicate on your hair. Love it!

I have thinning hair, so every hair spray that I've used before would either weigh my hair down or clump my hair together, which makes me look bald. This spray doesn't have any smell, nor does it leave my hair sticky, which is great because I don't wash my hair everyday. Plus, it controls my frizz in the humidity!

Maybe it's just me; maybe I didn't spray it on "liberally" enough but I also hate having too much product in my hair. But I went outside after a rainy day and my hair completely frizzed up. I'm gonna give it another chance using a bit more but I'm not really expecting much.

Quick Take: smells great, very light, you can still brush hair after spray
I returned it when I realized it wasnt as strong of a hold as I expected or needed. I think it had too much of the good stuff for my hair, and so my hair rejected it, lol:)
