Quick Take: non-greasy, blends in easily, natural
This is a great everyday sunscreen. I apply it right after my body lotion, which helps it blend in smoothly. Love the ingredients, and the protection. Haven't had problems with chalky residue, but I think putting it over lotion really helps.

I love this product! I am a high risk for skin cancer and have to use an SPF for my body every day. I tried many and was disappointed at the few choices I had. Any SPF 30 for the body was like putting glue on. It left my skin with a white cast and feeling heavy. I am so happy to have found Josie's SPF. It is not heavy, greasy or difficult to spread. It is light and absorbs quickly without any of that nasty white film. I took off one star for the size and price. Knowing it is natural and goes on well is why I can't give it up. So far, it's the best out there!

Healthly safe quality ingredients, good protection and goes on
well.... Other all natural sunscreens I have tried worked well but were very hard to spread on your skin. Less tugging with this one!

I love this product! It's not greasy at all, goes on smooth, and really prevents sunburn. And I still was able to get a golden tan! It does have a minor scent at first (kind of smells like cotton candy..yum!) but quickly fades. The only thing I noticed was that if you start to sweat, the product reappears. But no worries-it rubs back in. It is a bit expensive for the size, but the product is thick so a little goes a long way. Absolutely will continue to purchase, and highly recommend to anyone looking for natural sun protection!

Still get a tan using it, goes on very white and does not seem to fade from that white. Sticky, not easy to blend well in skin. Good if you are wanting a more natural approach to skincare.

The natural formula is wonderful. It doesn't cause my skin to break out and/or itch as other sunscreens do. After several uses, I've discovered that you really need to massage it in to cut down on the white filmy appearance after application.

I love the ingredients of this sunscreen, and love Josie Maran's philosophy, but wasn't impressed with this product. It's thick, clumpy and difficult to apply. It definitely left a white cast on my skin, and it doesn't feel moisturizing. I'll use up the tube, but won't purchase again.

I bought this specifically because it was all natural and I was trying to avoid chemical sunscreens. I like that it blends well and does not leave ashy white residue on my skin. I really dislike that it makes my skin feel wet, though. It's like a constant layer of dew or sweat everywhere I've applied this sunscreen. Blotting doesn't seem to help. I will continue looking for other natural sunscreens, but I'm glad the Josie Maran line recognized the need for this product and I hope they improve it over time.

I recently took this to the beach and shared with some friends who have sensitive skin (normal sunscreens, even some face and sensitive sunscreens, burn their skin). They LOVED this. It felt good on their skin, so I would definitely recommend for folks with sensitive skin.
I don't have sensitive skin, but still liked it. My only complaint is that you kind of get a light film on top of your skin when you wear it.

I use this on my face and I bought this to use in combo with the argon oil. To me, the argon oil with sunscreen in it smells like NyQuil, and who wants to rub NyQuil on your face every morning? This sunscreen has a really minor scent- almost nothing at all. It's a little greasy looking when i put it on, but it does just fine under my make up. (i have oily to combo skin). The only thing I don't like is the consistency is a little runny. If I don't shake it up first, my first squeeze will be all water.

I just used it on my body on a sunny holiday, and I didn't get a sunburn. Great UVA/UVB protection. The trick is not to apply too much, and to massage it onto your skin very well, so it won't leave any white-grayish film. The cream is non-greasy, which is a valuable bonus. No problems removing it either. I'll definitely use it again in the summer.

i love this sunblock.....you don't get a burn at all with this and your skin feels extremely moisturized....the only complaints i have is that its really hard to get rid of the greyish white cast this sunblock gives you...its takes a while to rub in and my other complaint is that its really expensive for how small the tube is....great product though

I love many of Josie Maran's products, so was looking forward to trying the Argan Sun Protection For Body SPF 30+ even though I have some other protection products I use regularly on my skin. The good news is this provides broad spectrum (UVA/UVB) protection. It absorbs readily and doesn't make a mess. It hydrates the skin, and seems to be gentle and effective. My skin is normal, and it's fine for me. My teens have oily skin, and it doesn't seem to block pores, so it seems good for anyone with oily skin, too. Argan Sun Protection For Body SPF 30+ appears to be excellent.

This is a wonderful sunblock. I have super sensitive skin and am also sensitive to smells and I had no problems with this product. I was out at a Water Park all day, for over 10 hours and I didn't get a sunburn and I burn easily. I love that this product is made with natural ingredients and even Argan Oil infused. The only thing you have to make sure to do when using this product, is not put on too much and blend, blend, blend...otherwise it will leave a little bit of a sticky white film on your skin. But once I knew how much to use, there wasn't a problem. Great product, great company, natural ingredients, and it worked throughout the day. I am taking off one star due to the price, I do feel it is a bit overpriced. Although, I would still recommend this product! :)

Great daily wear sunscreen for sensitive skin

I decided to try Josie Maran's SPF 30+ sunscreen for the body after trying her 40+ sunscreen for the face because I was very satisfied with the face sunscreen.
I like this body sunscreen because it doesn't have a strong scent, is not irritating, and blends in well. My skin is dry and it even moisturizes my skin since it has argan and other oils.
Most natural sunscreens that use titanium dioxide and zinc oxide as the main active ingredients are very hard to blend and leave a thick white film on your skin, but this one blends very well. If you put too much on a small area, you will get that white film, but don't overdo it, rub it in well, and you're good to go.
This sunscreen does have a light scent at first, but it quickly fades and will not clash with perfume or cologne.
I definitely recommend this product and even recommended it to my sister and sister-in-law to use on my nieces since they are both fair and under the age of 6.

This products smells great and contains argan oil, which is the new "it ingredient." Unfortunately, it left my skin sticky, didn't spread or absorb easily, and made my skin look chalky. I returned it quite disappointed. It will probably work if you have pale, pink-toned skin.
