Feels So Nice!
-12.13.11
Quick Take: lightly scented, rich, thick
This is my favorite neutral-smelling lotion out there. It just works! My husband likes it too, so I have to buy him his own tub or he'll complain when I take it with me when I travel. It's great for cracked hands and feet - I slather it on my feet at night, put fluffy socks on and wake up with soft feet year-round!

Love this body butter
-12.04.11
Quick Take: lightly scented, rich, luxurious feeling
I use this on a regular basis. It is one of my favorite and has a nice clean smell. It is very luxurious and unlike most Shea butter products, this is easily as-bored by the skin. It makes the skin feel fabulous and is long lasting. I always use it after my shower. I highly recommend the olive oil over the other fragrances. The others are too sweet for me. Hope this answers all questions and concerns.

deliciously moisturizing!
-11.26.11
Quick Take: lightly scented
a great thick and creamy body moisturizer, WITHOUT being super greasy at all! It really does absorb quickly, moisturizes pretty well, and smells fantastic (albeit a bit salady, which admittedly i like!) I will probably switch to something more heavy duty in the winter, but for fall and spring this moisturizer is exactly what I need!

Olive Butter
-11.10.11
Quick Take: lightly scented
Great moisturizer for any dry areas. I use it nightly on my cracked heels and on my hands. It does not leave a greasy residue like some other creams. Definitely recommend this body butter for any dry skin victims!

Love!

This body butter is just that, butter!
This cream seems heavy in the jar, but when you apply it, the texture thins out or "melts" just like butter does. It soaks into the skin while still leaving it silky, moisturized and protected. The scent lasts well and is really lovely. I wasn't sure if I would like the "olive" scent, but its quite nice. Its fresh and clean and relaxing. I can imagine it would take a lot of lotion to moisturize very very dry skin, as it does soak in very well.

Best Cold Weather Defense
-10.25.11
Quick Take: lightly scented, rich
I love Body Shop body butters and the Oliver Body Butter is my favorite! The scent is very light; it won't knock anyone out in a crowded elevator! As the weather gets colder, my skin begins fighting a losing battle to retain moisture, but with the body butter, my skin stays moisturized all day (no embarrassing ankle, elbow, or knee ash)!

This stuff is heavenly. My husband loves it, too
-10.20.11
Quick Take: lightly scented, unisex, refining
I fell in love w/ all the olive products a few months ago. Been using The Body Shop faithfully for years. Avoided the olive, because wasn't sure how it would smell. The smell is indescribable, but I love it!! My husband used the shower gel once when he was out of his soap, and not he uses it everyday. Great Unisex scent. He uses the body butter now, too.

VERY EFFECTIVE FOR MEN AND WOMEN
-10.07.11
Quick Take: lightly scented, rich
I was given a Body Shop's Olive Shower Gel as a gift for my birthday in spring, 2011. The thought of showering in something that smelled like olives was so unappealing that it took me six months to even smell it. I had this silly impression of bathing in an antipasto. Okay, so that's a little far-fetched, and I knew it wouldn't smell like that but I still had no desire to try it. I stuck it in the guest bathroom. The friend who gave it to me kept asking about it, so I finally gave in and tried it, in order not to hurt her feelings.
As it turned out, the Shower Gel was excellent. It has a fresh outdoorsy smell and is very moisturizing. It makes a nice lather, and could also be used as bubble bath. While it does have a fragrance, it doesn't interfere with subsequent fragrance application. My skin was left feeling extremely clean and my legs felt a little bit more moisturized than they do with the other bath gels I usually use. I realized immediately that this was a non-offensive gel that both men and women could enjoy.
My husband, Mr. Masculinity, didn't have a problem with the shower gel (which you might want to consider), so it was logical to get him some Olive Body Butter. It's excellent. He'll actually use it. In the summer, he's a Weekend Weed Warrior (in shorts), so his knees and elbows take a beating since he doesn't bother protecting those areas while he's crawling around all over the lawn. Olive Body Butter really works for him. It's also great when we travel because this is something effective that we all can use. It's rich and luxurious, and has a residual moisturizing effect that goes from one day to the next. A little goes a long way, so this is also economically priced compared to more expensive body butters. Don't let the name stop you - this is really excellent.

Best moisturizer
-07.26.11
Quick Take: lightly scented
This my ONLY body moisturizer. I've even used this on my face with no blemishes afterwards. Did you know you can put this stuff on a prune, leave it for awhile, and it will actually start to plump back up? Love this product. If it feels greasy at all, you've used too much. A little goes a very long way.

Excellent body butter, not greasy soaks right in, no scent so it doesn't compete with my fragrance. Moisturizer's very well and is great before sunless tanning

My favorite
-06.10.11
Quick Take: lightly scented
This is my favorite out of the Body Shop Butters. I like the smell of it the most out of all of them.
This really helps with the "chicken skin" on my arms if I use it every night.

-05.24.11

I love this product and all the other Body Shop Body Butters! The scent is not too strong and it absorbs quickly into the skin. I've never found another product that compares! A little goes a long way so it lasts a long time.

This body butter hydrates\ and softens like a charm. It is a little heavy but it is also important to remember that a little bit of this stuff goes a long way.

This body butter is awesome for the skin... takes away dry patches and little bumps caused by dry skin. I love that it doesn't have much of a scent, so I can still wear perfume.

Not flashy but can't live without it
-03.09.11
Quick Take: lightly scented, rich, fast-absorbing
I've been using the Olive Body Butter for years and it's among my all-time favorite products. It smells clean and fresh, but very light- so it works with any of my perfumes.
It's rich without feeling greasy and is just the thing for my dry winter skin.
