Underwhelming, then package broke.
-12.06.12
Quick Take: scented
I was so enamored with Bite lipsticks and their cherry lip exfoliator, that I decided to splurge and try this gloss too.
It was a little goopy, didn't really provide any long lasting moisture or keep my lips from getting chapped (even with constant use), and after a week the applicator tip just popped right off the rest of the tube and burst product everywhere.

At least my lips feel soft.
-12.04.12
Quick Take: hydrating, scented, yummy, bad packaging
I got the Pink Grapefruit since it's one of my favorite scents / flavors, and it does smell and taste like a grapefruit. I've been using this lip gel for a week and I really like it. It makes your lips glossy - not like you ate something greasy. Just a subtle sheen. It works nicely when you layer it on top of the Superfruit butter. The problem is the packaging! The cap wouldn't turn all the way at first. I thought I just did it wrong since I usually put this stuff on when I'm in a rush. But then I noticed a crack in the tube and the cap came completely off with the applicator part still screwed in (I hope that made sense?). Luckily I found a small empty Altoids tin in my bag. I ended up squeezing the gel into the tin so it wouldn't leak everywhere. Now I have to dip my finger in the gel and apply it to my lips. It's a good product, but I think Bite should use a tube that's made of a more durable plastic, or just change the packaging altogether.

Natural looking shine
-11.30.12
Quick Take: hydrating, scented
Nice, natural looking gloss. I can't say my lips were ultra-moisturized overall, but while I was wearing it my lips felt nice. I didn't like the ginger flavor, and usually like ginger in general.

Awesome product, terrible packaging.
-11.02.12
Quick Take: hydrating
First, the gel itself was amazing. Moisturizing, gave a glossy shine that wasn't sticky, tastes delicious without having any chemical taste to it. Stays on pretty well, which is saying something since I'm a compulsive lip biter lick my lips often. I bought the trio while they still had it which had Mint, Grapefruit and Orange and I loved all three.
That being said, you can't store the packaging in your purse. The tube will crack. This happened with all three of the ones I had. First it will just crack slightly, which you might think you can just put tape over, but then the whole top broke off of one, and and another shattered down the side. I only put my make-up on on the go, so this made the product useless since I can't store it in my purse.
I really hope Bite reformulates its packaging so I can buy this again. Because without the packaging issue, this is the perfect lip gloss for me.

Hydrating & Smoothing!!
-10.31.12
Quick Take: hydrating
This is a great product that I decided to try out. The price was a little much for just this small lip gel. It is very hydrating and smoothing. I love wearing this on its own of over some lipcolor. I usually put some on at night and the next day my lips are baby soft :)

I'm still waiting for full results. For now, keep the lips very moisty and I feel it was a good purchase. Well, I don't use everyday, so....I should try! For me, no mood enhancing

Love the Product HATE the packaging
-10.02.12
Quick Take: hydrating, scented
I love the gloss. It smells like an adult scented/flavored lip gloss. It's smooth without being sticky. If I could just rate this it would be a 5 star. However, the packaging is TERRIBLE! The top doesn't stay nicely sealed. The squeeze tube is so fragile that my product now dispenses from a hole in the side! UGH! I can't carry it around because of these packaging flaws. Hopefully Bite will fix and then I can give it the 5 stars the product deserves.

Super glossy
-08.29.12
This gloss is really great. Gives a natural shine that is long lasting. Not sure about the "mood enhancing" benefits, but I would buy in other shades.

smells great
-07.25.12
Quick Take: hydrating, scented
I purchased this a while back and I'm almost out already! With any type of lip product, i often 'eat' it unintentionally, and i'm not saying it's good, but better than others. I looked at the ingredients which made me purchase it. I don't think it's pricey in comparison to other brand's lip balms, etc. It smells something like mango. It's moisturizing, and not sticky at all.

Pineapple
-07.18.12
The scent lured me into this product, but that quickly fades along with the "moisturizing benefits" and shine within minutes of application. In fact, I think this dried out my lips even more. The cap is weird and comes off easily so I'm scared to carry it around.

Nice shine
-06.04.12
Quick Take: glossy not sticky
I really like this lip gloss. It really has no color none of them do just a nice shine. Doesn't last forever but stays put for awhile. All nice smells nothing heavy. Gave it 4 stars because my first one broke and it's pricey. They need to rethink their design. Don't leave it in your car or pocket!

Love the product, BAD packaging
-04.22.12
Quick Take: hydrating, scented
After about a week, the tube broke and i needed to empty it to another container. Product itself is great - it saved my winter lips - but they need to do something about the tube. I even emailed info@bitebeauty.com to complain. Since I loved the product, I exchanged it once at Sephora, but it broke again!!! So frustrating!

Disappointing.
-04.07.12
Quick Take: bad packaging
Got to say this is a disappointing product. It's a nice gloss (though it does fade very fast) but the packaging is awful. I have only used this maybe 5 or 6 times when the top applicator part completely split from the tube. It happened when I was trying to apply it so it got all over my fingers and on my bed spread. I emptied the rest of it into a container but for the price of this it should be better made. I lost a lot of product from it's "explosion." I wouldn't purchase this again.
The product itself I would rate as average, but the packaging brings it down to poor. Yes, it's that bad.

Nice Product, BAD packaging
-03.31.12
I like the feel and scent of this product, but the packaging is way below par. The dipenser got stuck and the lid and twisted off from the main plastic container. I threw out the return label because normally I am very happy with the products offered at Sephora. I am very disappointed in this product.

Not Great

I was expecting something non sticky and long lasting. It was neither of these and I actually think it dried my lips out. I would not recommend buying this product.

I had high hopes for this as the cashier raved about it when I purchased it, but it did not work for me. Totally dried my lips out and made them feel nasty. Also, tasted terrible.
