It works! What's with the bad reviews?

Quick Take: brightening
I had very noticeable sun damage/discoloration under my eye area at the tops of my cheeks. Pretty much the area right underneath my sunglasses. I didn't notice any difference at first but then one day I woke up and they were gone! Sometimes I forgot to put it on in the morning but I usually remembered at night. Once I the product was gone, my spots were gone so I'm very happy with the results. I am buying another because summer is coming and obviously I'll be in the sun more and I don't want the spots to come back. I read other reviews about cleanliness issues which I don't understand. How dirty is your face? You put on chapstick/lipstick/lipgloss so I don't see what the big deal is to run this over your skin. It's a roller ball, the consistency basically like water and it feels cool when you roll it on. Just roll it over the area once or twice, don't over-apply, that's wasteful and unnecessary and it will run down your face. I applied this after cleansing and once it dried (it's not sticky & there is no residue) I applied my other products with no issues. I will try to re-post with before and after pictures.

Poor execution of a seemingly good concept

It didn't do much on my spots/ Roll-on design is not that great. (Not clean, first of all, and it does not apply on skin evenly)/ not a lot in the package, etc. Overall a disappointing item which I sent back..

Soothing and Effective

Quick Take: soothing
I am not sure if it would work on age spots and sun spots, but for me, I use it on occasional breakouts that are just healing to soothe and prevent scarring, and find that it is EXCELLENT for that. It is so gentle and soothing. This is a must-have for me to prevent acne scarring. Not as effective on old scars though.

Quick Take: ineffective
I was soooo hoping that this nice little roll-on would lighten some sun sports on my face. I have been using it every day for 3-4 weeks and nothing, nada, no change at all.
I'm sooooo disappointed. Anyone know of a product like this that does work? I'd love to get that info.

3+ weeks into using this on some large sunspots I can see one of them is a little "broken up" and I think it's diminishing it a bit. It is not really doing much in some other places. It may be too early to tell. I am using it consistently morning and night and sometimes midday.

Quick Take: gentle formula
I've been using this for approximately 2-3 weeks. I can see SOME lightening of lighter spots, but overall it's not as effective as I hoped it would be. I'm not going to return it, because I've seen others post it might help with those blemishes....and I tend to get one once in a while so I'll see if it helps.

I've been using this faithfully, 2x per day for a couple of weeks. I think the brown spot is fading, but it's hard to tell. On the plus side, this product is incredibly gentle.

I bought this product about 3 and a half weeks ago and have seen great results. i have some discolorations from the sun above my lip and used this in the night and in the morning and the discoloration seems noticably lighter. I was very pleased with the results and continue to use it for better results.

This roll-on is a great spot treatment for new acne spots and healing acne spots that are still red. It soothes inflammation and cuts healing time in half. It seems to *prevent* much of the hyperpigmentation acne can cause if you start using it continuously. It does not seem to help with the hyperpigmentation left behind by previous acne spots, however, which is the reason I bought it.
Bottom line: I think I will continue to use it because it really does speed up the healing of acne (even those really painful, deep pimples), but I will continue searching for the great acne scar remover.

I bought this a few months ago in the store because the product I was using did not produce any more results on my brown spots. I put it away and forgot about it. A couple of weeks ago I took it out and started applying it to my brown spots overnight. My brown spots are noticeably lighter. Not perfect, , but very impressive for an over the counter product. I'm glad I tried it.
