I tend to hate most "perfectors" I use because A. I think they really do not work and B. They tend to settle into fine lines and make the situation worse by drawing attention to things I'd rather conceal. This is the first concealer / brightener that I've used that doesn't settle into fine lines and actually helps conceal the dark circles underneath my eyes. The texture is nice as well...not too thick. I put it on underneath my foundation, and that seems to work better for concealing issues underneath my eyes. Will buy again.

Quick Take: creamy, crease resistant
This is a wonderful product! I use this to conceal dark circles, and also use it on my upper lids to even skin tone. It gives good coverage and a lovely brightness and luminosity to the entire eye area. It also helps to extend eyeshadow wear. I have noticed a slight tightening effect, but I use this primarily for concealing and brightening. The texture is light-weight, and it blends smoothly and evenly. It's long-wearing and crease-resistant, as well. Application is very easy- a click or two of the pen on the back of my hand, and then I pat on with the pad of my ring finger. I like the packaging- there's less waste and mess with a pen. One observation- they definitely need to expand the shade range. This is a great product, and everyone should have the chance to enjoy it.

I've been using this product on and off since it was first introduced. I actually prefer it to YSL's Touche Eclat because it's less expensive, works at least as well, if not better, and it's easier to purchase (until Sephora started carrying YSL, it was a hassle to get hold of Touche Eclat). This isn't a heavy-duty concealer but it is really lovely for brightening the under-eye area and it does an okay job of disguising dark circles. It doesn't settle into undereye creases/expression lines either. And it's lovely for bringing brightness to other areas of the face (inner and outer corners of the eyes, brow-bone, cupid's bow, etc.).

Quick Take: lightweight, non-drying, natural looking
This is an amazing product! I use it as a concealer everyday, it stays on all day long and does not crease. The brush makes it easy to apply and saves the product so you don`t have to use a lot at one time.

i reviewed this before, but I have an update. I have been using it daily now and sometimes the flow is not very consistent in the amount to consistency of the product. Regardless, it still works wonderfully and it is a good purchase!

It is light enough so it doesn't look like I'm even wearing anything on my skin, but it still covers the redness I get on my face. I like to use it to even out my skin tone. I don't feel any tightening benefits, but I don't care for that, I bought it for how light but effective it is. There are not many shades to choose from so the one I got doesn't really match my skin tone well enough. It has never settled into creases for as long as I have used it.

Quick Take: lightweight, non-drying, very even distribution
Clarins' Instant Light Brush-On Perfector is bascially a concealer that's supposed to cover, highlight, and tighten, among other things. In all fairness, I'm already extremely pleased with the concealers I already have, so therefore, was not in the market for another one. However, a friend was so hyped up about hers that I wanted to try it, given her recommendations on how this had tightened and smoothed the area under her eyes. I have a few fine lines and my friend insisted Instant Light Brush-On Perfector totally smoothed them away. Who can resist a claim like that?
Unfortunately, this isn't magical. While it might create an optical illusion by illuminating the the area, and thus, detracting from the fine lines, that's about all it seems to do for fine lines. If it tightens, it's very little, and impossible to tell.
As a concealer, it's fine. It light and absorbs quickly. It's a little bit more hydrating than others I have tried, so probably has less of a tendency (good thing) to settle in fine lines and/or cake than other similar products. I like that it doesn't have a high shimmer factor, which means that it looks more natural than shimmery illuminators and concealers.
I'm more than pleased with the concealers I already have, and this one is more expensive so I'm sticking with those. However, my friend insists this tightens, so you might want to consider it, even it didn't work for me. The distribution is pretty good, too, because it comes out evenly, without excess waste. It still needs to be blended with a finger, even so. I especially like that it's not drying, which is definitely a benefit.

Love it!! I use it to hide my under eye shadow (with another brush to blend), then apply my Benefit Erase Paste on top of it. The result? No More Shadow!

I used to use Clarin's Light Perfecting Touch pen. After they stopped selling it, I bought this as a substitute and it's not the same. It sinks into the creases and doesn't seem to last all day. It does brighten when you first put it on, but I definitely think there are better products out there.

Quick Take: non-drying
I found this product much too thick & HARD TO apply. I bought it to help conceal my under eye shadows. It was too illuninating & did not mask my shadows. The only positive aspect I would give it was that it was not drying. This product was also supposed to have a tightening effect, but did not live up to its expectations.
