Quick Take: exfoliating, gentle, doesn't strip skin, slightly foamycreamy but you feel clean
I tried this because I was tired of the drying foam cleansers and the milky cleansers that didn't make me feel clean unless I used a follow up toner.
I also like the fact it's natural. So far I love it I have been using it for 2 weeks day and night and my skim looks clearer and cleaner. It is not drying and there is something slightly grainy in it (clay? rice?) that doesn't rip or strip my skin. totally worth the price.
I can't remember the scent so that's a positive... that it's not overbearing in the odor department! lol

Poor Moisturization and Makeup Removal

Quick Take: drying, irritating
I really liked this cleanser in theory: creamy, gentle, mild physical exfoliation, and brightening properties. However, after using this for the first time, I noticed that my face felt actually squeaky clean while I was rinsing with water. It was the oddest sensation; I've used a lot of cleansers, and never have I used one that felt this way. Because of it, it left my dry skin even drier, and I had an unpleasant tight feeling until I applied my moisturizer. This may work better for those with oily skin, but I wouldn't recommend this for those with dry or sensitive skin.
Another negative was that this was supposed to remove makeup. Unfortunately, as I was gently rubbing it over my eyes to remove mascara and eyeshadow, my eyes started stinging and burning really badly. On top of that, after I rinsed it off, I noticed that my eye makeup was all smeared and not removed at all.
I love Jurlique, but I strongly disliked this cleanser. I'm going to stick with the tried-and-true Jurlique Replenishing Foaming cleanser instead.

This is a very nice cleanser. It smells wonderful, is creamy, but does make a nice lather. Leaves skin feeling soft and clean, not stripped, but not coated either. Love it!

Quick Take: foamy, milky, moisturizing, not drying, great for sensitive skin, all natural ingredients
This is hands down my favorite cleanser. I have very dry and sensitive skin and this product is very creamy but removes my makeup easily. Plus, I like that the ingredients are as natural as they get. I even like this cleanser more then Fresh's Soy Face Cleanser which I used for a while as well.

i wanted to use this cleanser in conjunction with their purely bright radiance serum. using this cleanser does leave my skin feeling clean, but the cleanser itself is slightly watery rather than creamy. i did not notice any particular brightening results from using this cleanser after a few weeks. if you are a fan of foaming cleansers, this product will not do.

I've never seemed to have any luck with Jurlique products. I purchased this face cleanser about 6 months ago and I just never liked it. It burns if I get any in my eyes (and I don't have sensitive eyes either). It feels drying when I use it. I have to immediately put on moisturizer. Also, it doesn't seem to emulsify well and I don't notice any "brightening" effect. It has a strong floral scent which I don't really like.
The only good thing I can say about it is that it does feel like it's cleaning my skin.

Quick Take: foamy, nice scent, gentle
This is a very nice, gentle cleanser that foams up nicely and nice a very light, pleasant scent. It doesn't make my (dry and acne-prone) skin feel tight or filmy after washing and I don't have any issues when I use it to remove my eye make-up either.
A note about exfoliation: If you are looking for an exfoliator, buy an exfoliator; this is a cleanser.

I was ready to give this product 3 stars until I came to this page and re-read the description.
What originally attracted me to this product were the many benefits that were listed (antioxidant, brightening, makeup removing, discoloration reducing) and oh, the price!
The reason I wanted to give it a mediocre review at first was because it made my skin sting slightly on sensitive areas (eg. cheeks), which I did not expect from an everyday cleanser. I've been using philosophy and shiseido for many years and had never experienced that.
Now that I've read that it contains an ingredient that acts like a natural exfoliator, I understand why this made my face sting and therefore am upping my rating to 4 stars. To me, this product cleans the skin, it removes regular makeup, and it does brighten the skin as well. I did not notice any improvement in tone unevenness yet.
Overall, if you're looking for a cleanser that gently exfoliates, than I would recommend giving this a try.

I used this face wash white because I wanted brighter skin and something that takes off all the makeup. Sure it washed off my makeup but it made my skin so dry and tight! Even after I moisturized it was still tight. The area around my eyes was especially dried out. It could just be me, I'm usually normal-dry.

Quick Take: foamy, gentle, non-irritating
Really can't say that I've noticed any brightening from this, even though I use this in conjunction with my Clarisonic PRO. The scent however, is lovely, and this really is a nice non-irritating, gentle cleanser.
If you really want brightening results, I strongly suggest you try MUAC's cleansers... Their Lighten, Brighten cleanser does wonders.

It's fine - I don't notice any change in my skintone, which is why I bought this product, and especially disappointing as I'm using the Purely White Skin Brightening moisturiser as well, so really this is just another cleanser, and one that doesn't live up to the promise. I prefer the other Jurlique cleansers and won't be buying this one again.

I switched all my skincare products to the jurlique brightening line, and bought myself a clarosonic. Wow i love this, now i feel like my foundation is just hiding my naturally beautiful skin, redness is reduced, i never broke out from the change in products, and the smell is heavenly. I look forward to washing my face. But beware this does not exfoliate, if your skin is like mine and needs exfoliation i recommend you buy a clarisonic to.
