This was a new lotion for me after using Murad for years. I cannot tell you if the lotion was good or not because I could not get over the smell of the lotion. I do not consider myself too picky about smells but this one was completely overwhelming to me.

Nice and light with a bit of bright

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly
It's not the best cream I've ever tried but its nice. It has a delicate scent if you don't mind fragrance, if you mind then it's not for you. It's light, non oily, goes into the skin well without feeling too moist when you apply foundation on top, and it gives a touch of brightness to the skin. The long term "brightening" effect is a marketing scam.

Quick Take: lightweight, absorbs quickly, no spf?, non-greasy, comfortable
The sample didn't last long enough to notice any really brightening effects.
I would have preferred this to have SPF in it. Other day moisturizers have SPF built in. When using this product, I had to waste extra time in the morning to put sunscreen over this.
Other than these two minor concerns, the product was great! It absorbed quickly, had a comfortable feel, and moisturized my skin without feeling greasy.

I got a sample of this with a purchase & tried it, so wonderful...light, non-greasy. Softens skin without feeling heavy at all. Scent is light and delicate also. Just feels so feminine.

Brightens & smells amazing!

Quick Take: intensive, lightweight, scented
I am always on the search for a good brightener to combat sun damage and ward off dullness. It's difficult to find one that actually works and doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. So far, so good using this Jurlique cream! It's provides light but adequate hydration for my skin and definitely perks up my complexion. My skin tone looks brighter and more even toned immediately after applying it. Too early to tell if it's really treating my skin on a deeper level but I am happy with the instant results. No redness, dryness or clogged pores so far either, so it's a keeper.
What really sold me on this cream (other than promising sound of the ingredients) was the heavenly scent of violets and freesia. Like all the other Jurlique products that I've tried, the scent is a genuine one so the sensation is like smelling actual flowers, not some fake concoction that bears little resemblance to the real thing. I'm really sensitive to smell too and I find this one refreshing, not bothersome or headache inducing at all.
I haven't tried any of the other products yet in the Purely White Skin Brightening line except for the toner spray, which is great and works well in conjunction with the day cream.
