Each coconut is rigorously checked to ensure only the best are cracked open. This cream is suitable for normal to dry skin types.

Quick Take: scented, rich
These body butters are usually too scented for my liking, but the Coconut is an exception. It has a light earthy scent and it blends nicely on the skin. This body butter did feel really nice, but left me too greasy (meaning it does NOT absorb quickly) to repurchase. I was always concerned about the greasiness transfering onto what ever clothes I put on after/ onto my bed sheets.

This moisturizer is heavenly! Since it's made with real cocoa butter & shea butter it just melts into your skin, truly moisturizing it. It also contains pure coconut oil & the scent lingers on your skin for hours :) During the winter months, when everyones skin needs extra moisture & protection, this body butter is perfect!

This particular Body Shop Body butter was really greasy to me, and you had to use more product than I hoped to get a good moisturized feeling. I would not recommend this to anyone in an area of work where you have to wash your hands a lot, it needs to be reapplied every time you wash them so they never really feel repaired from being dry.

The Body Shop's products always smell great and they're rich, but not greasy. I'm not a big body butter user because I have oily skin, but I use these butters for my feet, elbows and knees. They're also great for summer skin that's dry from the beach. Love them!

I have very dry skin on my legs. This butter is so amazing!! Not only does it moisturize my legs (and elbows, and knees) it smells like the tropics!! It absorbs into the skin and is not greasy or slippery. I love this stuff!!! Also, what an awesome price!! You only need a little of this, so for the amount of product you get this is an amazing deal! Highly recommend!

I wrote a review for this previously so Im not sure why its not here, but I love this Coconut body butter. It has a light natural fragrance, not overpowering at all and smells like coconut. Its perfect for dry skin on feet, elbows, and knees and in the winter months will be a great overall moisturizer.

in all fairness i bought this as a replacement for the Sephora brand Coconut Body Butter (which has been discontinued), but it is just... not.. the same. =( The scent is.. weird. The texture is very greasy. I ended up returning it.

I certainly didn't need another moisturizing product for my skin, but one of my teens gave me The Body Shop's Coconut Body Butter along with The Body Shop's Coconut Shower Cream, as part of my Mother's Day gift. I've been enjoying the Shower Cream, which is excellent. I just tried the Coconut Body Butter, and it's excellent too. I love the fragrance of coconut, and once again, The Body Shop managed to capture it quite well in their Body Butter. There's over 10 ounces in the container, which is generously sized for only $20 (compared to many other brands). The fragrance seems very true to coconut. Like others, I had enjoyed the Sephora brand Coconut body butter, and had stocked up on the Coconut Dry Oil. This body butter makes an excellent replacement.
