Totally obsessed with Nars! This bronzer is amazing. It looks spectacular on already tanned skin. Apply when you want a beautiful bronzy color. It has a touch of shimmer so it makes the skin glow. The color is brown/bronze. NEVER orangey. I apply it after showering/moisturizing so it goes on smooth and evenly. It dries so fast and is transfer resistant. It looks great even in winter when I dont have a tan. It gives a nice color to pale skin. Love!!!!!

I like to use this on summer nights out on the town. The color looks nice and is buildable but may be too shimmery for the day. Although the disc. says it’s scented I don’t really notice any scent at all to mine? Color seems to be pretty transfer resistant but the shimmer transfers a little bit to clothing.

This truly gives a great dewy glow on darker chocolate skin tones. The fact that it doesn't rub off is a huge plus. I gave a lot hugs and didn't stain anyone so it's great for a night out. It will run when wet though, so no beach parties. Lost a star because of the price, but I would purchase again.

You only need a little bit to work in and I add it to my spray tanning to keep it longer. It gives a sparkle and shine to your legs, arms and chest. I recommend.

More practical than Body Glow

Quick Take: shimmery, bronzy, highly pigmented, fragrant
I had a really hard time choosing between this and Nars Body Glow in the store. Body Glow looks so pretty in its glass jar, and it smells HEAVENLY, not to mention there's just something very luxurious about anointing yourself with oil as opposed to putting on a cream. BUT, Body Illuminator is a good deal less expensive, doesn't rub off or feel, well, oily, and has more pigment. If you're looking for color, go with Illuminator. I'm fair-skinned and this helped take the so-not-summery edge off my untanned skin. My legs looked shimmery and bronzed in a way I can never get naturally.

Drawbacks: mainly that it does streak easily. But at least with this, you just wipe it off with a damp cloth and re-apply. Unlike self-tanner.
I would definitely recommend mixing this with moisturizer, or moisturizing first.
Incidentally, I mixed this with my (face) foundation and there were no ill effects, even though I checked in the store and the formulation for this is different from Nars' face Illuminator.

This bronzer is decent. I gives me a bronze glow. It does smear off on clothes though. I even wait until it's dry before I put on clothes. Also, it does have a little bit of a weird scent, but it seems to go away with time. Another downfall, it will streak unless you blend it well. I think this bronzer is better on darker skin. My skin is olive and I have a tan now, I don't think it would look as well if I were any lighter.

This is some of the best stuff on the market. It gives you a very nice glow and a little goes a long way. I also like to blend it with a lotion (recommend something fragrance free). Because it is waterproof/resistant, it drys fast so it is a lot easier to blend with a lotion. The color is also very natural looking. I have ultra fair skin and love the way this gives me a nice healthy glow!

For the price tag on this self-tanner, not worth it! I had a rep help me with this product and she tested it out on my skin, but when I tried to do it myself it was SO streaky and I applied it quickly....It is super sticky as well! Not attractive product at all, for Nars, very disappointing!

This time of the year it is still nice enough to go without tights or socks --- so you want your legs to look tan ----

this product is gorgeous for whenever you're feeling pale and want a little shimmer. it's a little hard to apply but i've heard mixing it in with lotion helps. apply sparingly to your face, as it has the tendency to make me look a tad orange. it smells amazing. BUT, don't wear this on a rainy day, you will streak!!

Quick Take: water resistant, opaque coverage
Every time I use the Nars body illuminator, I get a ton of compliments and questions as to what product I'm using. That being said, I love the final color and sheen that the illuminator provides but the application is a pain! I find the product sticky and difficult to blend, and it remains tacky for hours after application. Be sure that you let this FULLY DRY before dressing. The drying time is quite lengthy. I will continue to use because the final result is amazing.

I love this stuff! I use it on my neck and chest instead of powder bronzer. It goes on perfect. No streaks. Just blend quickly because it dries super fast. Major bonus......it does not transfer onto clothing! So worth the money.

This is an awesome Bronzer! Bought this for a friend's wedding I was in to cover my super white legs....this totally did the trick! Blended well, a little tougher to do around the ankles, but with a little work I even covered my ghost colored feet and ankles to achieve a great color for the pictures :) The whole wedding party ended up bronzing up with my bottle and I still have A LOT left for future events. Great buy
