Nothing wrong with this gloss just wasn't impressed with the color. I have the other o gloss (non gold) and absolutely love it and thought I would love the unique color of this gloss but for the price you can get another gloss with gold flakes. Needless to say I'm returning it.

Tested this in the store. Loved the gold color out of the tube but it changes to your average gross mood gloss pink. Don't like it. It accidentally was in my basket which is why the purchase. Returning.

Quick Take: non-sticky, moisturizing, flavored
Very subtle shade, I find I need to put on a bit more to be able to see the luminosity. I like the slight minty feel and taste from it. I put it on top of a lip stain and finds it's a nice addition. Not too sticky or thick feeling. Overall good product, just a little pricey for what it is.

Having a "winter" complexion, I think the last time that I wore yellow gold was middle school. I wasn't even looking for lip gloss when I went to Sephora yesterday. I would never have tried this on my own, but I am extremely happy that a store employee recommended this product. The color adjusts to a more neutral deep peach for me, but it gives a subtle golden luminosity to my lips. This product feels unlike every other gloss that I have ever tried - almost weightless and not even close to sticky. I highly recommend that everyone at least try this gloss out!

While it does turn a gilded shade on my lips and is a nice way to put on lip color without having to think about it and decide what color would look best and is fabulous to put on when in a hurry, the shade I get cannot be referred to as "peach" b any stretch of the imagination.

Despite the color looking VERY golden, when applied on the lips it actually blends into another sheer and subtle color. There is a lot of shimmer in this gloss but it's not gritty or tacky, actually its very smooth.My lips never feel sticky with this gloss but the texture isnt runny either. It's just right :) smashbox knocked it out of the park with this gloss.

Wanted to love

I really wanted to love this - it turned a really pretty golden peach color on my lips (and one that complemented my fair skin!) but I think I may be allergic to it - it gave me itchy, dry skin on the outsides of my lips. Too bad!

I totally love this lipgloss! I usually wear lipstick, or a lipstain if I want something less bold, but this is the only lipgloss to tempt me. It's not sticky, actively moisturizes my lips (unlike most lipglosses), and has great color.

I love this! The other available shades are all pink and I don't like to wear pink so I was happy to see they made one in coral! I like the way this goes on and I can apply without a mirror. It goes on like a gloss but wears like a lipstick. Not cheap but it's worth it to me.

Quick Take: a great idea
I thought this was a great concept, that it adapts to the shade of your lips. However, I did return it because it did not flatter me, and for the price I have several other glosses that are more flattering to my skin tone. I do love the idea of it but it was costly and so I thought I'd return it for another brand.

nice texture and tone

I like the idea of the o-gloss products and was pleased that this one was an alternative to the usual berry tones of lip stains and the original o-gloss. I tried it in store and brought home a small pot of the product to try. I liked it, so ordered a tube. While I still liked the texture and peachy-coral warm tone, I found that in the full size the gold shimmer was too prominent. It washed out the coral color and stopped looking like my lips, just pumped up a bit. It was too '80s for my taste, so I had to return, unfortunately. :(

Did not meet expectations

I love O-Gloss in pink. I see a definite difference in color when I use that one. I cannot say the same for O-Gloss Gold. It might just be the tone of my own lips as well. Still a very nice gloss-- smooth, non-sticky, shiny. I'll keep using it, most likley, but not in place of color, like a stain.

Quick Take: smells nice, glossy
Perfect texture for a gloss, not sticky or tacky, nice and smooth. Color turns to pretty dark bronze peach and smells great too. Great shine and sparkle but doesn't have glitter in it. Love it for summer with some self tanner. Only wish it had SPF.

Quick Take: glossy, glowy, silky feel
I like that Smashbox has expanded the O-Gloss line to include a non-pink shade. This gloss has a nice golden sheen (not glittery), and it feels really silky on my lips. I don't feel that the peachy tint lasts very long which is the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars. But the gloss feels so nice that you don't mind reapplying.

REALLY WORKS

I received a free sample of the original O-gloss and was surprised at how well it actually turns into my ideal lip shade. It was a little too pink for my already pink lips, but still very flattering so I went to Sephora to buy a full-sized tube. I didn't realize there were other options and was blown away by how natural and flattering the GOLD was on my lips. It does come out of the tube gold, but then melts into a peachy, shimmery custom-color that's perfect for me. It is very complimentary to bronzy summer looks. I would definitely give it 5 stars, but it tends to fade fairly quickly and I find myself re-applying it often.

This is officially a lip product that I cannot live without. I live in a fairly dry climate, and my lips are chapped all the time. I use this to replenish and it feels so silky and non sticky! It keeps my lips moisturized, and the colour is perfect for my warmer complexion! It's not too pink nor is it too pale. I love the shimmer of the gold to top! If you like th o-gloss original, the gold is a must try! Especially the summer! A beautiful flash of shimmery colour on your lips is just splendid. This is something I keep in my pocket and purse no matter where I go. I definitely recommend this to everyone who has fair to medium complexion!
