Tanning........
-08.19.11
Quick Take: great quick tan
This gives a nice color no orange, washes off as stated. It is difficult to get off of my hands though and I scrub with a nail brush. Otherwise it is really great color.

NOT FOR ME. EXCELLENT TEMPORARY BRONZING 10 STARS

Quick Take: excellent, you get what you pay for - this is really worth it, easy to use no streaking no fading
I spent the last ten days experimenting with different products that might make my very pale legs and arms have a little bit more color for summer. I'm sensitive about this, because often some tactless person will very publicly make a comment about how white my skin is. I don't want to do self-tanning, and only something temporary. So I was determined to find something that was quick and easy to use, wasn't shimmery, didn't fade, or run, and didn't smell bad. It was also imperative that it didn't transfer to my clothes, and that it wasn't overly expensive.
When I started my endeavor, Guerlain's Terracotta Cooling Bronzing Mist (Jambes de Gazelle) was either not available at my local Sephora or was accidentally omitted as a suggestion by my Sephora consutlant. Sephora does sell it. A beauty counter person at a local department store recommended it. She told me that if it didn't work out for me, I could return it, so I took the chance. As it turned out, the contrast between my super pale skin and this product is slightly more than will work for me, so I'll have to return it, but it's still an excellent product.
Terracotta Cooling Bronzing Mist is easy to use. While the directions state that this should either be sprayed directly on legs or first into the palm of the hand, and then, the hands should be swept lightly over the skin. I sprayed directly onto my legs, which is super simple, and used one of those self-tanning mitts instead of my hands to brush across by legs. This dried very very quickly. I applied lightly, but since this is for legs, it left too much of a contrast on the rest of me. Regardless of my issues, the "finish" looked beautiful and natural. It easily washes away in the shower. The mist has a nice scent. Some of the products I tried during my "test" smelled dreadful, or had fragrance that was probably used to mask chemicals. No so, here. Everything about this mist is ideal. I wish it came is a very light shade, because it would have worked for me, but for those of you who want to look as if you're nicely tanned, this may be perfect for you. Even if you're skin is fair, it would probably work.
I want to take a moment of your time to comment on the price, because this was more money than the other products I tried. I've learned from experience that I can get away with certain drugstore products, or department store products, but with cosmetics and fragrances, often times, we really do get what we pay for. While this may cost more than some other products, the results are excellent. I'm pleased to recommend Terracotta Cooling Bronzing Mist because, while it wasn't what I was looking for, it's an excellent bronzing mist.

Love this!!!

Quick Take: amazing!!!
I was so sad when they discontinued the Guerlain Teint Dore-moisturizing bronzing spray for the body. I tried so many places to get every last bottle I could. Well the new product to replace that one is here!!!! This is an easy to apply, totally natural looking color. Spray it on and rub it in. Very natural color. Easily washes off your hands.. If you have to run through the rain, you won't end up with white spots on your arms, as has happened to me with another brand of body bronzer. Smells delightful. Dries quickly so you can get dressed a minute or two later. You can put on another layer if you want it darker. Not oily or greasy, but is a little bit moisturizing, but not one sparkle in sight!!! None, just natural looking brown skin. Almost transfer resistant, the tiniest amount might end up on your clothing, but that happens with self tanners too? Love Love Love this product!!!!
