Thought the gold would make my eye shadow pop, but its pretty unexciting. The original would do the same as the gold. Nice, but I'll just go back to the original once I've used up the tube of gold.

Quick Take: terrible
Not really excited about the performance of this product. I really need a good primer that will keep my eyeshadow and liner on all day. This one doesn't do that. I bought this product because the one I used previously was not available, but using this primer I find that by halfway through the day my shadow and liner are faded and all but gone.

Love this primer!!! I usually don't wear makeup. But lately I've been experimenting trying out new things. I just so happened to pick this up by accident. All I knew what to get was an urban decay eye primer. I guess i was suppose to pick up that basic primer but, pick this up and I love it.

This product will def last you a long time. All you need is a cinch! Has a nice shimmer under tone to it if you wanted a bare looking eye but not boring.

I'm a medium toned Hispanic gal. The gold is a perfect shade! Some people say they don't like the shimmer but I don't think it's too overwhelming. I've even worn it alone with black liner and red lips. The simplicity was beautiful. Highly recommend it!

Quick Take: creamy, crease resistant
I'm so obsessed with this primer. If you blend it really well you get this gorgeous, light shimmer that looks amazing with eyeshadow on top or just a plain cat eye eyeliner. Or you can blend it less and have a gold lid and leave it at that. My eyeliner doesn't smudge all day and is even still intact the next morning if I forget to take it off before going to bed. I would 150% recommend this primer and Urban Decay's other primers.

I absolutely love this primer. I have tried several other brands and this is my favorite. It lasts all day long with no touch ups. I can even wear it alone if I don't feel like doing my makeup and I don't have to use a lot either. Fantastic stuff!

This is glittery but blend it out well. I use it a around my eye and eyebrow area and my eyebrows look amazing! More dark and defined this stuff beats out the too faced ones whick dont do anythang. Lol random like the packaging don't get if you don't like glittery stuff

Have been using and loving the other color of UD eye primer for about a year. I wanted to try this but was worried it might be too much shimmer. I actually love it and it is quite subtle once shadow is on with it. Great primer for eyes!!!!

I've had the urban decay eyeshadow primer potion tube in the original color for a year and after watching some videos on YouTube I decided to buy also the "greed" version. And I love it! It takes just a small portion to prime your eyelids and it's got such a beautiful shimmer to it. Sometimes I feel like wearing only the primer without the actual eyeshadow, so beautiful it is.

Quick Take: useless
I've always used the purple tube. I tried this one just for a change. It didn't work at all. I exchanged it for the other which leaves my eyeshadow and liner in place all day. This one was wore after a few hours even using the same shadow and liner product.

A little to much for my 35 year old face more a younger face bold color and I'm afr American med dark so color looked green on my eyelids instead of gold. Not good for normal wear but quality good so 3 for that

this primer potion is a really glittery gold, and somewhat too glittery in my opinion for daily use. It would be nice for a party or something.
Also, when applied to eyelids, it has a kind of tacky feeling, almost like glue. I suppose that would help eyeshadows stick better, but I think the Too Faced Shadow Insurance does the same thing without the sticky feeling.

I purchased Greed and it is definitely a vibrant gold sparkle primer. You can wear this alone or along with shadow. It is quite vibrant so I layer a more natural eyeshadow over it to tone it down a bit, but I have also worn it alone on occasion. I will probably repurchase, but in the sheer nude, not the gold again. While fantastic, the gold competes with my eye makeup sometimes. One great trick is to apply just under the lower lash or in the corner of the eye, it really pops there.
Make sure you don't apply too much, a little goes a long way!

Urban Decay makes the best eye primer

I normally use MAC primers but switched to urban decay because it keeps my shadow on for over 12 hours without having to reapply. I've recommended it to all my friends and they now use it as well.
