I'm a fan of the Senorita Margarita scent for starters, and the fact that the margarita recipe is on the bottle is such a hoot!
Though I'm not a fan of the texture of the glosses from Philosophy, the scents are fun and they give good shine.
My boyfriend and I got this as a parting gift for his neighbor who is a fan of mixed drinks and Moscato, so it's a perfect gift for any party gal or woman that likes her a happy hour!
She loved the gift and found it so adorable. She opened it up right away and got to sniffing, super excited the wash was shower gel, bubble bath, and shampoo.
The kit is a super bargain for its price and it's already packaged up, making gifting super easy!

so the margarita scent wasn't what I was expecting. it isn't horrible, but I wouldn't buy it again. however the daiquiri lip gloss smells delish!

Great for a gift

My friend turned 30 and I thought giving her a "margarita" would be cute for the occasion. She loved it and loves philosophy. I've also given her chocolate chip and Creme brûlée and she said they were both made her skin smell yummy. Maybe my next purchase should be for myself instead of giving to my friends. ;)

I love philosphy products...esp the cocktail line! The melon daquari is by far my favorite lip gloss ever and i only wear lip glosses and go through a lot of them. So the store was all out so i bought this set to get one and fell in love with the margarita body wash...now i get margaritas every day!

I recently ordered this set for my oldest son's girlfriend for her birthday which is coming up in a few days. It's funny but both of my sons have girlfriends that have birthdays within 2 days of eachother!! Being a lover of all Philosophy products, I knew that I couldn't go wrong with this set!! I know the quality of Philosophy products and it is my number one skin care line and I also have many of their body products which I adore!! Both of these items are true to the description and smell yummy!! You can never go wrong with a margarita (mmmm...) or Philosophy as a whole and the gloss is deliciously awesome as well!! Can't wait to give it to her!! I will write another review when I do!!

Philosophy The Cocktail Party Set made an excellent hostess gift for a woman friend, who was giving a party. (I don't think this is good for a couple, since the guy wouldn't benefit). It consists of Senorita Margarita Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath and a Melon Daiquiri Lip Shine. I have numerous Philosophy Shampoo, Shower Gel & Bubble Bath of my own, in various other fragrances, and have been totally satisfied with the majority of them. In addition, I have a variety of Lip Shines, and I'm happy with all of them. I know these Philosophy gift sets always are well appreciated as gifts. The packaging always adds a little something extra, too. This turned out to be a perfect hostess gift.
