Quick Take: good value, travel-friendly
I bought this for a friend's bridal shower. Post wedding, she raved about the products! I'd say their packaging may be a bit small, but for having all of their best items in one kit, it's a great bridal shower gift to give when you have a budget.

I bought this set to try Philosophy products after reading rave reviews about their skin care. I tried all the products in the set and truly the only one I would ever purchase again is the lotion: Amazing Grace Perfumed Firming Body Emulsion. I truly did enjoy it. Otherwise, the products were just not for me. The skin care products just didn't leave me feeling clean and I didn't feel they were effective at all.

I considered purchasing this as a cute, unique gift for a friend of mine who is getting married. However, when I saw it in person I wasn't that impressed. The box is a decent size, but when you open it up everything inside is sample sized. For the money, I was expecting something that you'd get more than just one or two uses out of.

I bought this as a bridal shower gift to a very close friend. I shop at Sephora religiously and would love someone to buy this for me before I ever get marriage. I love the Philosophy line and wanted to introduced my friend to it. She loves everything in the set!

I bought this as a gift for my friend on her Bridal Shower. The packaging is so cute and it was immediately a hit among the girls. The kit included mega sized samples of some of Philosophys greatest hits. This kit is fun, cute, and well priced.

We have given Philosophy's Here Comes the Bride set multiple times. It's make a great gift and the feedback has always been positive. It includes five great products that allow some luxurious down time for the bride-to-be and anyone else who'd like to enjoy these items at a decent savings. There's Purity Made Simple which can work well as part of a Philosophy Skin care line, or with another line. I use a different line for my skin care needs, yet often use this cleanser. I like that it cleans my skin of product, cleans my pores and leaves my skin well hydrated. It takes barely a minute, and my skin is clean of surface pollutants and contaminants, and my pores are cleaned, too, all done gently. Purity Made Simple is also good for travel, when I don't want to tote along a lot of products. Hope in a Jar is a moisturizer that also exfoliates, while gently protecting the skin. Amazing Grace Shampoo, Bath & Shower Gel is a lovely luxurious gel that can be used for a wonderful bubble bath, as a rich luxurious shower gel, or even as shampoo. Amazing Grace is a light beautiful floral fragrance. Philosophy's Amazing Grace Firming Body Emulsion smells lovely, but after using it for a few weeks, I never noticed any firming. As a moisturizer, it is really nice. As a firming product, unfortunately, I didn't experience any miracles.Still, it's a very good moisturizer. These products are all travel-sized, so could also be taken on a honeymoon. In addition, there's a sample of Microdelivery Peel, which I've never tried, so can't speak to that single aspect of this set.
This makes a nice gift for a bride-to-be or a bride. It's nicely packaged, too, making it a nice shower gift.
NOTE TO NOT HELPFUL CLICKER (APPROVED BY SEPHORA):
I was just notified by another reader of my blogs and Sephora reviews that someone has wasted her time going through my Sephora reviews and leaving an extreme amount of "not helpful" clicks on my reviews, going almost right in order, the minute a review appears. I'm sorry you wasted your time leaving multiple not helpfuls (per my reader) on each of those recent listings. My reader applauds your speed since you apparently left over 50 not helpfuls in about 20 minutes, some on items Sephora confirms that most likely nobody would even be looking at since some are years old. You are doing a disservice to the product and not to me. These reviews are written by women who are willing to share their experiences with products. Reviewers get no compensation for their reviews. Not helpful clicks generally reflect negatively on the product, and not so much on the reviewer. You are discrediting the Sephora review system (and not me) by arbitrarily doing this. If you disagree with my opinion of a product, take the time to leave your own review. I forgive you. I feel sorry for you since you're compromising the Sephora review system for your personal entertainment. May you find happiness and peace in your heart and soul.
I highly recommend this great set. Even brides of many years will love this set.

cute gift, product not all that great though

Hope in a jar STINKS. I mean this skin cream smells SO bad that there is no way anyone would want this stuff anywhere near their nose, much less their face. I like the sample of the peel, which works okay, but again, nothing spectacular. I like the Purity skin cleanser which works good, but overall this set really is not that wonderful for a gift.

Sometimes its hard to get a perfect gift, but this is it. Has great philosophy products that any bride would love not to mention the cutest box ever. I got this to give as a bridal shower gift, so it was perfect. I thought it was so cute I got one for myself.

If you don't want to give a nighty or other dreadful traditional shower gift, this is a great idea. You can attach a gift card to it or give it as is. I love Philosophy products adn the packaging is adorable. I gave this as a shower gift and soon as it was opened, the table began buzzing with tales of which products were well loved. It's fun!
