For the price, not so nice

Bought this while looking for something to give my skin a subtle shimmer. Unfortunately this is too subtle--is it even on?! And despite my trying, I can't handle the smell. I love tropical, coconutty scents, but this, to me, is not it. Sorry, but it must go back.

smells great and leaves skin sexy

This smells awesome! It gives you sudle luminousity to your skin with a touch of color too. Makes you look like you have been in the sun but better! For a no mess application I dab it on and smooth with a soft sea sponge that I use just for application of this oil. I then put the sponge in a plastic bag for storage. I do my makeup to give it a chance to dry all the way and then I get dressed. The ONLY reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because its pricey. It does last a long time though because a little does go along way.

Great light weight alternative to body bling

This product give you a little color and a bit of shine, and it has a really wonderful scent. This product is NOT going to cover imperfections or give you a ton of color like scott barnes "body bling", which I must admit I miss a ton! I have olive skin and I have yet to find a product like body bling, with good coverage, sparkle and a non-offensive smell (not orangey either)--seems like most products are made for our more fair skinned sisters.

I recently purchased the NARS Body Glow and I love it! It smells really good and it actually gives my body a nice summer glow. I was a little hesitant at first, because I have darker skin, but I can actually notice a difference. I am so happy that I decided to purchase this product!

I love this not only because of its scent.

This natural looking glow cream is just what I've been looking for. It goes on smoothly, dries quickly, no smearing and looks very natural. If it becomes more solid and not liquid, just place under warm water and shake. Also the smell is wonderful!

I was nervous about splurging on this product but very satisfied with the purchase. The oil absorbs quickly and leaves a sheer but noticable sheen that is (not teeny bopper). I was a little disapointed at the little fragrance but it is just as well so it doesnt clash with my perfume!

I just want to say to the people who have a hard time getting it out of the bottle...you're supposed to warm it first. The oils and butters can turn solid at room temp. Hope this helps!

great scent

I recieved this as a gift in the travel size. It has an amazing beachy, vacation smell to it and a nice sheen, not to sparkly or over the top just a really nice natural radiant look. my only complaint is that the color is actually transparent, at first when it comes out of the bottle it looks quite dark but once applied it doesnt make a huge difference, how ever the smell lasts forever and it makes your skin feel amazing. I am definiatly considering purchasing this in the full size bottle and I would recommend it to friends. This product does solidify at cooler temperatures but if you run it under some hot water it goes back to its liquid form

Remind you of the beach

Make me glow! Okay I read most of the reviews on here and simply had to go out and buy it myself. Yes I went out and plunked down $63 for it.
The smell: Smells familiar but nothing fantastic. I'm serious. When I opened the bottle I was awaiting the smell of sweet flowers but no. Smells like oil, a deep musk almost.
The look: In a big bottle, I thought it was going to be tiny. Gold in color but when you go into the store beware...the product will not move because it's cold. Warm it up by the sun, leave it in your car (seriously), or let it sit a little in some warm water. Mine warmed up in the car ride back home in a matter of 15 minutes. Shake it and a little does go a long way. Place it on areas that's going to catch the sun, ie arms, legs, chest etc.
What I really like about this product is that it doesn't feel greasy at all plus if you're like me and suffer from dry feet this works WONDERS!!! Not kidding, my feet look so awesome as if I went and had a pedi done.
The glittery stuff that's in the bottle will not show up on your skin that much but it shows up on the palm of my hand though but your skin will have a glow to it.
Nars glow just reminds me of going out to the beach, slathering on oil, dipping into the ocean and digging your feet in the sand.

This body glow is absolutely perfect for me. I just bought it yesterday at Sephora shop in Winnipeg. I had to shake the bottle before I can use because the oil and the shimmer were separated.
I just want to let you know that this NARS body glow is based on coconut oil. It will get very liquidly in a warm temperature and get very very thick when it's cool. That is the nature of the coconut oil.
I love this product and I don't see anything wrong with it except the price :( A bit too expensive.

Didnt like it.

First let me say i was really shocked by some of the reviews stating that they couldn't get the product out of the bottle.For me it was completely opposite.I found it the same texture as pouring oil out of a bottle.I had to give it a good shake to mix it all up.It looked a bit separated.Im not sure if its meant to be like that or perhaps i got a bad batch? If you do get this and plan on taking it say to the beach with you or the pool be really careful.It would be such a shame to spill something this expensive! But anyway after a shake it all mixed together and just looked so gorgeous in the bottle.And it does have the most gorgeous scent.I just wish it looked as good on as it does in the bottle.Im very pale and when i rubbed it on it disappeared completely.No sheen,no shimmer,no glow,nothing! I even tried layering it on hoping to build up a sheen or something and still nothing.I thought maybe its because im pale? The next day though i used a fake tanning mouse.After my tan developed i tried applying this again and still nothing.Such a disappointment.It truly is gorgeous when you look at it in the bottle.I will give it this though it moisturizes like no other.It feels really nice going on my skin.Didn't feel oily on at all or make my skin feel clammy at all.Just super super soft and lovely.Absorbs very quickly.But there's no way i personally could justify the price for this to use just as a moisturizer so ive sent mine back. I dont know if its because im so pale.Maybe others with a more tan complexion will have better luck.

Beautiful sheen and wonderful smell

I originally purchased the Mini Monoï Body Glow And Body Glow II Set and became so addicted to the Body Glow I ended up buying this large size to replace it. I use it on my legs almost every day I wear a skirt during the spring and summer because it moisturizes and smells fabulous. Even my husband commented on how great it made my legs look. It's a subtle shimmer not at all glittery, but it makes a difference. Definitely recommend it for your arms, too. Just be careful when applying to not get it on your clothes because it does have a slight tint and will stain them.
