NARS Body Glow
What it is: A beauty oil for an aromatic, sun-kissed sheen. What it does: Monoi de Tahiti oil conjures the luxury and tradition of French Polynesia in Nars Body Glow. The bud of the tiare flower is soaked in the finest coconut oil and then blended for a translucent chocolate shimmer. What else you need to know: It is natural for authentic Monoi de Tahiti oil to solidify when cool, which might appear as separation. Place in the sun or under warm water to liquefy, then shake gently to blend the ingredients.

Quick Take: moisturizing, shimmers, smells great
I love this oil! It glides on smooth and smells really good. I am African American so my skin is already a chocolate color but this oil just makes me glow and provides a slight shimmer. I use in more in the summer and have been a fan for years. AWESOME product.

I am fair-skinned and this gives me a great glow. It is not oily and does not leave a thick residue. This product definitely gave me that sun-kissed look I have been looking for. However, I do not necessarily trust the product with some of my more expensive clothes, for fear the oil and/or color will leave a stain. I have only worn the product with cotton or jersey knit clothing that are either black or navy blue, and it has worked great. The smell is great and it reminds me of being in the tropics. I did not buy the product individually, as it was in a glow kit from Sephora. In terms of taking a long time to dry, I have not had that problem. I apply a light layer and it is dry within 4-5 minutes. What I do like is that my skin feels soft after the application. As with the other reviewers, I do not like the way it solidifies. It looks horrible after it solidifies. I initially was going to return it, because I thought something was wrong, but when I read the instructions, I learned this product does solidify under cooler temperatures. I ran it under hot water and within 2 minutes I gave it a good shake and it was back to its original form. I would give this product more stars, but it can be a hassle to always run it under hot water and the pricing is steep. Overall, it is a decent product.

I received a bottle of this as part of the set of items and when I got it out of the box I pulled it out and it looked as though the ingredients had separated and even when I tried shaking it up it did not work. When I went ahead and tried to put it only skin I smelled it and it was horrible smelling. I had to wash my hand immediately. I chunked it in the trash. What a complete waste.

I really really wanted this so I went to Sephora and tried this and all the other similar products on my arm. This one is the most expensive but I thought it looked best on my skin. The other ones were very glittery. BodyGlow has a really nice sheen but I'm on the fence about the smell. I am also very fair. Theres a few things I don't like about this product..... it gets solid when cold, it takes forever to dry, all off the letters have rubbed off of my bottle (and I've only had it for a summer), and its crazy expensive. That being said i only use a liitle bit so it will definitely last this coming summer and maybe even some of the next because i dont use it every day. I do really like this stuff I just dont think its worth the money and I'm not sure if I'm going to repurchase :-/

It took me quite some time to buy this products although I wanted it for quite some time. I do not regret buying it after all. It came very smoth onto my skin, gave me an extremely nice shimmer and smelled very tropical. The only negative thing about the product is its price. I would consider buying it again!

I have been wanting to get this product for some time now, but sadly it was so not worth it.
The scent was awful, like pure chocolate! unless you want to smell like you've stepped out of a chocolate factory, then consider buying it.
And the saddest part for me was there was no shimmer at all! It just looked like oil on me, I had high expectations for this, it was a waste.

I just received this in the mail and I'm not liking the fact that its freezes I guess cause of the cold weather and its just frozen I haven't even used it but I gotta say the smell is amazing its smell really good but I just notice that it says that I have to place it in warm water so it can turn into liquid again and I did and it actually worked it turn back to how it was when I got it but I haven't use it thought so when I use it ill make another review about how it works and also when I got it in the mail it didn't look like not how it looks in here but after shaking it for a while it looked like it shows above but one thing that I don't like about it is that it keeps freezing instead of just staying liquify

Quick Take: perfect balance of shimmer & color
If you are looking for something that isn't too oily, is easy to apply, takes your existing color to the next shade and adds a healthy, shimmery glow then buy this! It seems pricey, but the sample 1oz bottle I recieved in a 'glow' kit isn't more than 20% depleted after using it for two applications per day for four days while on vacation. I didn't where any white clothing & fear that it would stain light colored fabric. Not strongly fragranced so I can still wear my favorite scents without this clashing!

Quick Take: luxurious
A week after buying the admittedly more practical and pigmented NARS Body Illuminator, I went back and bought Body Glow, too, because I just couldn't get over how luxurious it was (I tried it in the store on multiple lunchbreaks from my job nearby). Yes, it comes in a slippery glass bottle. Yes, it can rub off on light-colored fabrics. Yes, it's expensive. STILL....it's divine. It smells like a tropical paradise, it's so beautiful both in the bottle and on the skin, and it makes the skin so nice and soft. In my opinion, stepping out of the shower before and after sunbathing, and putting this stuff on... it's the kind of luxury that makes summer that much more enjoyable.

I love, love this stuff! It makes your legs look glowy without looking too shimmery. and it gives a subtle tint to them. It does, however, leave a bit of a gritty feeling to them! But I still love it. It's expensive but lasts awhile! the closest thing to this is a leg shine by victoria secret that's alot cheaper so I wear that on days that I don't care so much about and this on days I want to look hott!

This product looks great once dried. However, make sure you let it dry before getting dressed! It leaves a soft bronze shimmery glow all over. I wear this mostly in the summer time. This product is pretty much like a makeup bronzer for your body.

Quick Take: lovely scent
Love the scent of monoi in this product. It rubs on my skin quite smoothly and gives enough glow and fragrance. Make sure to shake the bottle very well before applying as the product separates when not in use. Don't wear light color clothing as there may be some staining - although it comes out in the wash anyways.

The scent is not heavy, I really enjoy it. It lingers quite long but in a good way. I am out in the sun a lot so I have darker, tanned skin this time of year and like the "shimmer of color" on my legs but it is oil based. I put it on right after I get out of the shower so it has ample time to soak into my skin but I do find that if I wear a light colored shirt or skirt, I can see where it rubs off around the neck, sleeves or hem of the skirt. It doesn't seem to stain though and washes out.

It smells like foundation with the consistancy of coconut oil (one ingredient) but mixed with glitter that comes out a redish bronze color. It never soaks in, just sits on your skin. A little doesn't go along way. I returned.
