Quick Take: get it while you can!
The picture doesn't show how much product is in this kit. It's much bigger than I thought and no "fillers". the all over highlighter is particularly gorgeous, Just adore the shimmery pencils for eye highlighting. All in all, an amazing product for the price!

Quick Take: awkward to use, disappointing
I had high hopes for this as I love their Gold Standard mascara. Unfortunately, I found the compact awkward to use and the quantity of product less than expected. The tiny shimmery pencils were especially disappointing as they looked promising, but were far too soft to use. I returned this along with the matching unopened bronzer set I purchased at the same time.

Quick Take: good value, travel size, high quality product!
I've been in need of a good highlighter for some time. And not for want of seeking one out, I've come up empty. THIS IS IT! I love this product. I have fair skin and this compliments my skin tone perfectly.
It's so natural but so effective. I immediately received compliments on my skin. LOVE THIS!! No glitter, just glow. Gorgeous! Looks great in every light. I can't stop gushing about it!!!!
Just ordered another case. I would order more but I'm not sure how long the shelf life is and don't want to push it.
Ultraflesh, PLEASE don't discontinue this wonderful product!!
The little pencils are perfect for those times you want to really put your best fact forward and highlight a touch under the arch of the brow, and in the cupid's bow of the lip.

I've already reviewed the eyeliner and bronzer kits. This kit is very versatile and can be used many ways. Also packs nicely in my travel bag. I use either the bronzer or this highlighter every day!

Worth the $$

I bought this because it was on sale and I am a sucker for highlighters. I have never purchased anything from Ultraflesh before. I was very impressed with the quality and love the powder and cream. Not really sure yet what I will do with the pencils, I usually use kitten eyeshadow in the corners of my eyes, I have never used a pencil but maybe I will try it. Overall I thought this was a fun product and a good value.

What a great combo! Although the eyeliners make my eyes a little itchy the set is wonderful. I use the creamy eyeshadows on my temples and in the outside corners of my eyes, on my cheekbones and upper lip. Great product.

Quick Take: gorgeous substle colors, for all skin tones, no tacky glitter or shine, cute palette box
Formula: There are two formula's in this kit, powder and cream.
The only powder is on the top tier which is the all over enhancer (bronzer) and is a very fine shimmer powder. The color is almost champagne bronze, very subtle and not glittery. The powder is more pigmented than the cream's. I think every women can use a little of this for highlighting and look good.

The second tier holds the two all over shimmer creams. one shade is a pale gold like color and the second is a pale pink taupe shade. They are not that pigmented in color but add just enough of a shimmery enhancement which is great for those of you who don't like those dark thick products. After all they are not meant to be used as blush where you would expect for pigmentation. They are glossy and gorgeous but in a sophisticated way. Anyone can wear these colors.
The bottom row is where the two mini pencil cream highlighters are contained. And I mean mini! Maybe 1.5 inches. These are just fabulous and I wish they would have been larger. One color is a pearly white glimmer and the other one is a pale gold glimmer. All sheen but no glitter. I love the white pearl pencil the most, it works best on my eyes and really makes them pop.
Works on all skin tones

Packaging:The design of this compact is gorgeous. It's almost reminiscent of a Japanese Bento box or those old fashioned Japanese lacquer make up box's. It's constructed of a hard black plastic. Very beautiful. There are three different rows that slide out and are attached to the box, they can't be removed. It's about 4.5 inches in length and maybe almost 2 inches tall. it's chunky but light and can fit into a travel case.
Issues: My only grievances other that it's being discontinued, is the fill weight and the mini pencils. TINY! If you were to use this product everyday it would be gone rather quickly. The case is cute though, maybe you can figure a way to pack your own pigments into it after use because it's too adorable to throw away.

I purchased this palette and the Bronze Metallica one, and I was surprised when I opened them to discover they are exactly the same, except for the top shade. So if you are undecided, know that the pencils and the middle two creams are the same shades, the only difference is the top is either bronze or champagne. That said, this palette is definitely fun and creative, but the product itself is ho-hum. The top shade is a large square of peachy champagne shimmer. I was impressed with how dense the pigment was and how finely milled the powder. I've used it as both an eyeshadow and dusted with a brush above my cheekbones. The center flip contains two miniature creams that you can apply anywhere you want glow. They look very similar to each other and I found them a bit greasy. The pencils were disappointing. They are miniature, and one is white and one is taupe. They break and mush easily, and there is no where really to use them. They are too mushy/greasy to use as an eyeliner, since they melt right off. I tried them around my tearducts to brighten and they crumbled quite a bit and looked fake. Also, when you try to use the palette by flipping it open, invariably your finger drags across the top square, getting product under your nail and ruining it. All in all, not too pleased with this purchase.

Love the all-in-one case, but no staying power

Quick Take: good value
I really like this product, but I'm not sure how to use the tiny little pencils included in the case. I like that the shine is subtle, because at 47 years old, I don't need glitter. I tried the two shadows alone over eyeliner, but they didn't stay put throughout the day. The all-over enhancer seems just like a bronzer and goes on darker than you think it would, so a little will go a long way. I doubt that I would purchase this product again, but I'll continue using this on "light" makeup days.

Quick Take: good value
I LOVE this collection. I haven't used any other highlighters since I got this about a month ago. They are soo beautiful. The pencils are great for the eyes. I use them to line or highlight the inner tearduct. The creams are great, perfect for the cheekbone, brow bone, cupids bow etc. The powder on top is the perfect highlight shade and is super smooth. As for people saying the creams are too small: if you read the size, they are EACH the size of a mac cream colour base(which are $16 a piece). I love this collection, and found it well worth the money because it's the only highlighters I need. It takes up way less space in a makeup bag.

way overpriced and not as described!! the pencils (both) had broken off when i tried to use them, the portions of the creamy highlighter are WAY small, and the portion of the product that i expected to use as an all over color for the face was powder, not creamy. save your $39-- i'm taking this back asap

Oh, I like this product! You can't go wrong. Beautiful shimmer without looking like a rainbow care bear. Totally appropriate for the over 30 gal who still wants some glow. LOVE the packaging! SLEEK, just like the panthera mascara which I also Love. Looking forward to seeing what else Ultraflesh is going to do.

MY FAVORITE ULTRAFLESH COLLECTION

Quick Take: soft shimmer, sheer coverage, impessive packaging
I'm lucky that my friends give me lots of makeup products for birthdays and the holidays. I can't ever get enough. They always strive to find me something a little different, or something I don't already have. I was given three of the Ultraflesh collection, Bronze Metalika Bronze and Glow Collection, Black Magic -The Ultimate Jet Black Eyeliner Collection and Shinebox Highlight and Shimmer Collection. If you're looking for a gift that's a little bit different, you might want to consider these. Well, actually, I'd suggest the Bronze Metalika Bronze and Glow Collection or the Shinebox Highlight and Shimmer Collection, which are more impressive as gifts than the austere Black Magic -The Ultimate Jet Black Eyeliner Collection, although they're all impressively packaged. Of course, you can always buy them for yourself, too, and again, I'd suggest one of the first two rather than the Black Eyeliner unless you're really into black liner. While I usually don't review multiple products in one review, I'm making an exception so that perhaps it will be easier deciding which to buy.
The Shinebox Highlight and Shimmer Collection has some good points, but the real selling point is the packaging. It has an All Over Enhancer, which is more or less an okay blush, 2 All Over Shimmers, cream to powders, which are pretty highlighters, and can be used everywhere, including eyes, face and even body, and 2 of the All Over Highlighting Pencils. This is a decent collection but for me, but it's almost redundant, and too similar to the Bronze Metalika Bronze and Glow Collection. If I hadn't have used the Bronze Metalika Bronze and Glow Collection first, I would have returned that one, and kept this because Shinebox Highlight and Shimmer Collection is actually more practical for me. As with the other collection, the All Over Highlighting Pencils are almost worth the price of the collection alone because they're really good. I'm going to have to return the The Shinebox Highlight and Shimmer Collection, but only because it's so similar to the Bronze Metalika Bronze and Glow Collection. Had I realized the similarities before I tried Bronze Metalika, I would have kept Shinebox, instead. Nobody needs both because they're too similar. However, this is an excellent collection, too.
The Bronze Metalika Bronze and Glow Collection is the most impressive of the three, although I like the Shinebox Highlight and Shimmer Collection better. The All-Over Enhancer, or bronzing powder, works even with my very pale skin, which is impressive for that reason alone. But the rest of this collection is equally as impressive. I use a very light hand because my skin is so pale, but you could definitely use more or layer it, depending on personal preference. There are two highlighters (All Over Shimmers), that can be used in a variety of ways. They can be used on the face, as highlighers and shadow on the eyes, and even on the body. These cream to powder products apply beautifully and should work well with most skin types. Finally, there are two All Over Highlighting Pencils. I really like these a lot, and my favorite products in this collection. The All Over Highlighting Pencils are extremely effective and almost worth the price of the collection on their own. I like the packaging, and everything in this kit.
Black Magic - The Ultimate Jet Black Eyeliner Collection is going back. I already have a lot of black eye liners in all sorts of finishes. For the sake of my friend, I tried to like this, but mostly all this black is harsh looking. I have dark brown eyes, and long thick lashes, and I just don't like looking somewhat Goth with this. While the description calls this "dreamy" on me, these blacks are more "dreary" and do not enhance my eyes but rather detract from them, and make me look tired. I would much have preferred a navy or dark blue set. At any rate this set contains a Black liner that can be used dry or wet, a black shimmer liner that can also be used dry or wet. I prefer both wet. There is a black smudge liner, a shimmery black pencil and a black Kohl pencil, along with a mini angled liner brush. If you wear a lot of black liner, you might want to consider it, but it's too austere for me, and rather grim, even though, once again, I find the packaging to be impressive. However, if you're really into black eye liner, this would be perfect for you.
Shinebox Highlight and Shimmer Collection would have been more appropriate for me, but I'm still happy and having fun with Bronze Metalika. I like watching the reactions I get from friends when they see me using this. It's fun to use, and the products inside are excellent. The packaging is impressive and it's a good value.

I'm obsessed with highlighters because they make my cheekbones look so much more pretty than they really are. I use it for the lightest shimmer on the top of my cheekbones and down the center of the nose. It's subtle, it makes my face look slimmer, and my cheekbones really stand out. lovelovelove this stuff
