Best oil absorbing powder for my skin

Quick Take: oil-absorbing, sheer coverage, reduces shine
This is the best compact powder I have ever used. It controls my oils very well, for roughly about half the day until its time to reapply some more. I apply this powder on top of Dior forever foundation and it makes my skin absolutely flawless. Another plus to this powder is that it doesn't provide cakey coverage. It emulsifies into the skin perfectly and no matter how much I buff on, it always looks great. It's pricey but I believe it is totally worth it, since it looks flawless on my face and doesn't provide me with breakouts, which is a plus.

This powder is awesome! I use it to set my foundation all the time! This powder plus the Estée Lauder double wear foundation gives you the MOST poreless/flawless complexion ever! I also use it with my forever dior foundation and work beautifully together. Very sheer, I don't notice any addition of color and doesn't give a powdery finish. Melts beautifully into my skin in minutes. Take it with me everywhere for touch but you will barely need any! Definitely a staple in my makeup collection

I just bought one, it really make the face bright, and silky. however, the thing I dont like is the sponge that go with the case. when I apply the power on my face, there are some cotton chuck left in the case. So I am thinking about using other sponge to put it on. overall, I love it.

I use this over the dior flawless wear foundation and the two give my an airbrushed look. This powder is not cakey whatsoever and melts into your skin while reducing shine.

This is the best powder I've ever tried...and I've literally tried everything, from super expensive powders to drugstore versions. The DiorSkin retouch powder is light enough that I don't feel like I've caked on makeup and sits translucently on my face - it looks like I'm not even wearing makeup, which for me, is the goal. Definitely lightweight and has a long wear. It's worth the money.

I think this powder is great. It looks very soft. I'm sure it is light enough for most people but I do wish it came in a slightly lighter shade as my skin can be extremely pale in the winter.

This powder does what it says. I tend to get very shiny on my nose and I'm able to reapply this powder throughout the days without it looking cakey. My complaint is that it might not give quite enough coverage, but maybe I'm asking too much to have powder that is both invisible and provides good coverage!

Dior is a great line of products and use many of their items however, this particular powder was not my cup of tea. It caked and needed reapplication at least every 2 hours. I returned it :(

Dior is a spectacular makeup line and does what it claims. With this powder I'm still undecided. It tends to leave me with creases and need to reapply to get rid of shine after about 2 hours. I will try it a few more times, if it doesn't work out it will be returned.

Amazing finish....

I am not a fan of foundations, liquid or powder. I am very picky considering I have acne prone skin as well as I don't like the look or feel of foundation. This is a beautiful finish to any type of skin. I use stila 10-in-1 BB first (let it set), then Benefit Cosmetics Hello Flawless Oxygen WOW liquid foundation (1 pump for my entire face and neck and let that set), then finish with this perfect, soft, gentle retouch powder. Whether I go natural or pop with color, that is my staple start. I touch up once in the afternoon with this Dior powder and that's it. Once to twice a day. My only very small complaint is the "puff" isn't as thick as I'd like it to be, but the product is perfect. And the compact comes in a velvet bag. Fabulous presentation.

I must have already re-purchased this product at least 5 times. I've started using it since last December and I've been wearing it everyday since. That's saying a lot considering I have very sensitive normal/combination skin. I'm a bit dry in the winter. I wear this over my Superbalanced foundation in Alabaster from Clinique. I apply it once in the morning, and there's hardly a need to retouch my makeup all day. Maybe a small pat on the nose and cheeks if the Texas heat/humidity makes me a bit shiny. It's light, gives a smooth finish and the packaging is very nice. If you don't mind spending a pretty penny, give it a try. You won't regret it!

Okay, so I have used this for about 3 weeks now, and I have to say it it great. The coverage is nice, but not heavy, I have oily t-zone area, and blot and apply several times a day, but with this stuff, I apply about 3 times a day, which is great for me. It smoothes my complexion out and makes my skin look very soft and even. It is a bit pricey, but if you can afford one splurge, this would be a great one.

I have combination skin ( normal to oily ) and this product made my skin much dryer only after one day of use. After 2 months of not using it I gave it another try, but got the same result. I do agree that this powder diminishes the size of pores, but I personally find this product extremely drying.
