Quick Take: lengthening, good hold
This is a great product! I barley wear mascara because I have long lashes but I love this stuff. It goes on nice and stays on nice. You will NOT have to worry about fallen mascara pieces. It also has a really nice hold.

I'm very happy with this mascara. It volumizes decently, although I've gotten more volume from others. Lengthening good. It does clump some, no more than average, though. It's best feature is that it stays on all day and doesn't smudge.

No raccoon eyes !!!

I have always had problems with raccoon eyes. No matter which mascara I used (including Lights, Camera, Lashes).
No matter what I tried, my mascara always ended up under my eyes by the time I got to work. Then I would spend all day with makeup removing swabs getting rid of the black smudges.
This is a great mascara that I will buy forever. I put this stuff on and it stays where I put it!! Absolutely no smudges!
It does dry out faster than other mascaras but I don't care. It is most likely because of the clay content but that is also what keeps it in place.
I am lucky to have pretty great lashes but they are blonde-ish and I like to give them a little more volume to balance out how long they are. This mascara is great at those things as well.

So the box packaging changed on this, and now it's called "lengthening mascara."...but it's still GIFTED! Tube looks the same. I love this mascara because it never rubs off or flakes. Sometimes mascara gives me big ol' raccoon eyes by the end (ok, middle) of the day. This stuff does not. Also, it does not dry overly sticky or tacky. Your eyelashes feel soft. Good product; recommend!!

I received this in a mini "prime,shine&define" kit... this mascara had BLOWN me away! No clumps at all, even with multiple coats! My Lashes are soooooo long and full its really amazing! Will be purchasing full size! This wore throughout the day and didn't fade or flake. Also, most mascara makes my lash line itchy and I want to tear my lashes off by the end of the day... not this guy!

I tried these amazing mascara on in the store and thought these could be used on my "special" occasions, but I LOVE this soooo much - I use this every single day! This doesn't irritate my eyes for hours and it's easy to apply with the wand! My lashes are natural looking and full!

I've tried so many mascaras like benefit, dior, bare essentials, Clinique... And this one is soooo much better. It creates tons of volume and curls your lashes like nothing else. It also lasts all day and it doesn't rub off on the top of your eye, which was a problem for me. I totally recommend it.

I have very, very sensitive eyes - even clinique mascara makes my eyes water and red. So one of the Sephora girls told me about Tarte and how it's all organic and safe, as well it would lengthen. Myself being a skeptic at everything to be true, I tried it because the girl swore by the product! Holy wow are my eyelashes long and pretty, and my eyes aren't reacting! Definitely sticking with this Tarte mascara for a long time!

I have been using this mascara for a couple weeks and I think I have gotten it down. I have very straight eyelashes and curl them quite a bit. The first time I used it I applied too much and my eyebrows flatten :( I thought I would have to take it back then I was suggested up use it more light handed which made a big difference. If you don't have to curl your lashes like I do I think this product will work great for you. If you do have to curl your lashes a lot just be very light when applying. I will do one light coat let it dry completely then go in for a second on days I want a more dramatic lash. Over all it works well and find myself on most days only doing one coat, and I love how it easily comes off when I wash.

I love this mascara because it gives you beautiful long lashes! It's non-clumpy and just makes your lashes look so defined. It's definitely best for an everyday mascara. My only complaint is that it doesn't give you that dramatic look which I like to wear when I go out or for special occasions. But I just layer it with a more volumizing mascara and it will give me that full effect.

I picked this up on a whim, and was pleasantly surprised with the quality. It made my lashes look long and full, and lasted all day. Plus the package is unbelievably cute and unique! My only complaint with this mascara is that it seems to clump up VERY easily.

I've been addicted to Lancôme hypnose for years, but it always felt heavy. I have long eyelashes, but from halfway to the tip the are blonde. This mascara doesn't weigh down my eyelashes and doesn't wear off from oily eyelids, which happens with other eyeshadows if I go more natural with no eyeshadow. Love the brush and the feel of the handle.

I got this as a sample and instantly fell in love! I have really long, dark lashes but they aren't really full. I feel like this mascara makes them extremely full and lucious without clumping (which is a BIG deal breaker for me). My favorite before this was Tarte's Lights, Camera, Lashes! and while I still love that one, the Gifted Amazonian Clay may be my new favorite. I have never had a mascara thicken the way this one does. Very pleased!

I love tarte mascaras, but I have had the same issue with this mascara as I have with Lights Camera Lashes! I get a sample size, and it's the best. It applies clean, it's non clumpy, it makes my lashes look AMAZING. And so I buy the full size. But then the brush is slightly different, or the interior of the tube is slightly different, so that instead of a lovely lash, I get a freaking messy clump explosion. Tarte full-sized mascaras do NOT clean the brush properly as you pull it from the tube, there is WAY too much product on it. The reason I am rating it a 4 is that after a few weeks of usage, the amount of product in the tube goes down, and the brush is not so overladen. That, and the formula is fantastic. But just beware, if you've tried the sample size, the full size will apply differently. I wish they sold the sample size!
