I need a strong mousse, but don't want the stiffness of many. This sounded just right, however, it really doesn't hold up during the day. I have short, fine, straight hair.

I don't think this product was marketed to me or people who are looking for the same things I was. It's very lightweight, I'll give it that. It has a light and pleasant smell and isn't sticky.
The things about it that made it not work for me...
It had little to no hold at all
Did not add noticeable volume
Did not give the pleasant "texturized" feel most quality mousses give

Overall it's a good mousse if you are extremely sensitive to mousses weighing your hair down, like if your hair is very fine. For most users though, who might want hold or volume from their mousse, I'd keep looking.

This mousse is light, but does give you good volume. I have very fine hair and this mousse defintely gives you volume. When applying, don't push on the button too hard as it tends to dispense too much product that goes to waste

I had high hopes for this product. I was previously using the volumizing mousse by living proof but I didn't like how that mousse made my hair look dull. The Alterna mousse however did nothing for me, no volume, no hold. My hair looked like I had no product in it after making the effort to give myself a good blow out. But the worst was the scent of this product. It is way too strong. As soon as I squirted out a dollop I felt like I may as well spritz my hair with my husbands cologne. I have tried the kerastase light mousse which is great, but too pricey.I was hoping this light mousse would be the cheaper alternative. But I'd rather spend more money on something worth it than spend less money on something that doesn't work.

Quick Take: lightweight, easy to use
I have A LOT of fine, silky hair that I normally can do nothing with except let lay there. This product has totally transformed my hair! I can curl it, pin it up, or tease it (which I could never do before. My hair is WAY too soft)! Be careful not to use too much or it will get a little crunchy. But I will definitely be buying more when I run out!

I have fine, long hair and struggle with finding products that won't weigh it down. This helps give me that extra body that lasts through the day. I towel dry, add a golf-ball sized amount to my roots and blow it dry. I know it wasn't intended to do this, but I feel like it keeps my hair from getting greasy so I can get away with skipping a shampoo. Great product!

I have medium/thin hair that is well below the middle of my back length. It is so hard finding products that do not make my hair weighed down, or awful feeling at the end of the day. I don't usually put product in my hair, because of that greasy, crunchy, awful feel they give after a few hours.
This product works great, leaves a nice shine, doesn't weigh my hair down & it adds tons of volume that lasts all day long!

Been using this for awhile, almost about a year now and I repurchase every time! Smells great, has some hold to tame frizz, and love the whipped texture ... It's great & I definitely recommend it! :)

I'm growing my hair out from a short to medium length style and wanted something to lift my roots and help create waves with a diffuser. This is the first mousse I've ever used and I wasn't disappointed. Especially since it held the waves all day and my hair still soft to the touch.

My daughter loves this product. It really makes her curls look great. I use the Caviar Anti-Aging seasilk Oil gel along with Caviar Anti-Aging seasilk Moisture shampoo and Conditioner and my curls feel and look better then ever. The entire Alterna line is awesome.
