Quick Take: good value
Recently diagnosed gluten intolerant (severe) in 2013. Finally found a product that doesn't make me ill and actually works. Loving it! So much so, ordered for FULL size and will continue to buy as long as it's stocked. And that cute little bag...so darn cute! Works well as a little summer clutch.

Quick Take: good value
I had used the Dry Oil Mist previously and LOVED how manageable it made my hair, so I thought I'd give this a try and see if I liked the other Alterna products, too... They're great! They smooth, add shine, and minimize the other products I normally would have to use. I have thick, wavy (almost curly) hair and live in an arid climate; I have found the Bamboo Smooth products to really help keep my hair moisturized, manageable, and healthy looking.

Had an outdoor wedding to attend in Fl. Went into a local Sephora with a head full of frizz! and asked for some help. This kit was recommended. There is no magic but this formula made a huge difference for me. It will be a repeat purchase in full size for the NY summer humidity. Hair is smoother without being weighted down.

Quick Take: magic for my highlighted coarse frizzy dry hair
This is my second purchase of the Bamboo Smooth Set. I only use ALL 4 of the products on "special occasions" in an attempt to conserve the products because of the price. However, you get what you pay for with this line because the results are amazing. I get SO Many compliments about my hair when I use the entire system. It's like MAGIC!! My highlighted, coarse, dry, and damaged hair transforms into smooth, shiny, soft, and healthy looking after each use. I am splurging on Full size as soon as the budget allows.

I have thick, coarse, frizzy hair and the shampoo/conditioner is AMAZING! I haven't even used the Kendi oil yet because with the shampoo/conditioner, I didn't even need it! The hairspray is great as well. It holds without making hair stiff or sticky. I will definitely be purchasing the full sized products!

I have coarse, thick, color-treated and slightly wavy hair. My area is humid and my hair type creates further frizz problems. This bag of goodies not only made my hair frizz-free, but it also made it substantially smoother. The products smell great and do not weigh down hair. The hair spray is super flexible and leaves a high gloss on hair. I will buy these products again, in full size!

This stuff is AWESOME! I got a sample of the shampoo, conditioner and Kendi oil from one of my Sephora online orders. I love the products and how they make my hair feel soft and smooth and smell fantastic. The oil doesn't stay greasy which I love. I bought this set so I could take it to the gym and use it when I get ready for work after swimming laps.

Did the opposite of what I was expecting and dried out my hair. The oil that comes with the set didn't make my hair sleek so much as oily. Smells very nice, though.

Tried all products in this kit. Not sure i f it was all or just one that caused my hair to do the exact opposite of what it was supposed to. My hair was more frizzy and out of control than its ever been. I think the kendi oil is what left a film on the hair. Only positive thing to say was that my hair was soft. Had to return , although I still love the dry oil mist from this brand.

I have permed, mostly grey natural blonde hair & live right on the Gulf in Florida. This product is amazing! I no longer have to use a separate spray detangler, my hair is super soft. It even curls better, less frizz more bounce. I use the oil as a weekly treatment for the front (driest part) of my hair & I could not be happier. Got the sample first & am now buying the travel set for an upcoming Cancun vacation & the full sized for at home. Buy this if you have curly, dry hair.

I liked this set for traveling because all of the products are ones that I use and I don't want to carry full-sized products with me when I travel. Plus, the bag is nice to keep them all together and can be reused when I'm finished with the hair products.
