Be careful with this!

Once you apply this eyeliner, it stays on very well. However, when you open it to apply it, it may splatter all over the place. That happened to me twice and it was hard to clean the sink and the mirror! I ended up returning it.

I purchased the electric purple liner and it stays all day! Will still stay put after I get out of the gym. Have received many compliments on the color. Only complaint is that the Makeup Forever line isn't cruelty-free anymore. :(

Great eyeliner, definitely a waterproof product. Good for special events and has a great tip. Unfortunately it is not matte and leaves a shine to it.

Somehow I am not a fan for liquid eyeliner but I've used dozens of this one cause it STAYS ALL DAY! No matter how humid the weather is or I stay in the aircraft all day. Definitely good for sweating summer or long time traveling.

I keep coming back to this eyeliner because it is the best I've ever found. Waterproof, doesnt move when my eyes water, doesn't budge during the day or move up in the crease. I wash my face with cleanser and water in the shower and it removes easily with out smearing all over your face. Lasts all day. I trust this for important all nighters or special events.
I use this every day. It lasts me about 2 months and then I need to buy another. It's expensive but I keep coming back to it because it does what I need it to do. When it's time to buy a new one you'll notice the texture of the product changes and it will become more difficult to layer it. For me that is around the two month point. I also layer this over top of several eyeshadows, so that might have something to do with how often I need to buy a new one.
If you are new to liquid eyeliners, I recommend using a pencil liner lightly first and then marking over that line with this liquid liner. Because it is waterproof and doesn't budge, it's not exactly forgiving so it helps to have a line to draw over. The applicator tip is firm enough to do a nice solid line. I create a fairly thick, winged/cat eye with it. If you are looking for more of a delicate, thin line, I recommend using a small brush and dipping it into the product to glide in the area you need. (Laura Mercier makes a very small, delicate brush that I use for this.) I do that for my lower lash line.
I did a test at Sephora and used several different liquid liners, drew lines on my skin, and paid attention to which ones lasted the longest, which ones smeared, which ones stayed put even with me trying to move it around. This one lasted the longest and looked the most black after a full day.

Quick Take: smudgable, flaky, short-use
I have been using liquid liner for years now. I decided to try this particular brand, because the demo in the store seemed nice. I took it and applied it to my hand. After I purchased it. I was thrilled with the black. It's a very pretty black, and it goes on smooth. However, after a couple of weekes of use, it seemed to have the plastic liner (filter like on lip gloss) break, and it started getting clumpy and dried out. Also, it never stayed throughout the day, and it flaked off of my eyelids. (Maybe because it is waterproof) Needless to say, I loved it at first, but for the price I would prefer the drug store liquid liner. It now is drying out, and has no color value, and it didn't last long. I won't purchase this again.

I have this in #5, and it is probably in my top three favorite eyeliners of all time. It is pigment rich, goes on smoothly, and sets quickly while still giving me time to perfect my line. Granted, it is stubborn coming off and stains my eyes a little (even over primer!) but I'll take it. I use a cleansing oil at the end of the day and it slides right off after resting my fingers over my eyes. It is worth the $23, and I will be getting more!

I really had to rub and rub and rub a makeup remover pad on my eyelids to remove this liner. We all know that our eyelid skin is very delicate, so unless you want to age prematurely, I wouldn't suggest this eyeliner. Sorry. Almay is a much better product.

Great Liner, but Not the Best.

I really like this liner. Stays on all day, jet black, great color. Waterproof etc. The only thing I'm not a huge fan of is the felt tip. I would prefer a fine brush over the felt tip - it kind of tugs at my lids when I draw my liner on. Other than that, a solid- good liner!

perfect for southern humid summers

I live in New Orleans and it is impossible to wear liner in the summer because of the intense humidity. This stuff is amazing and stays on all day. I eved dozed off on my couch and woke up an hour later and my cat eye hadnt budged or flaked. For an even more foolproof method, use NARS smudgeproof shadow base. I never dress my eyes without it.

Applies great but removing is a big mess

I really love the color of this liner and its really easy to apply, but its biggest downfall is the mess it makes when removing. You end up with flakes of this stuff all over your eye area and face, which I really didn't like. It's does live up to its super smudge and water resistance properties.

My 55-year-old mom uses and loves this eye liner. It takes some time to master a steady hand, but once you do, the lines you can draw are clean and sharp. Doesn't smudge or fade, stays on all day!

Burgundy #11 is a beautiful colour but I just couldn't make this applicator work. When I applied it, the liner coated my eyelashes and became hard, crusty and difficult to remove, no matter what technique I tried or how I held the brush. Too much work, which is a shame because I would have loved to find a waterproof eyeliner in this gorgeous burgundy shade.
