Quick Take: non-sticky, moisturizing, glossy, perfect not boring but a lively pink nude
This is a moisturizing and more glossy alternative to a nude pink lipstick. It's gorgeous! Much better than NARS "Cruising" lipstick, which is also a nude pink but more beige-y. This is more lively but still a nude lip color.

I purchased Chelsea girls after seeing it on a Youtube video.
It is great! Very smooth, not sticky. very faint tint of color, but enough to look "done". I also sometimes layer it over another tinted lip color for a bolder look.

I purchased the Eros shade and the color was so pretty when I applied it. Just the right amount of color and glossy shine. Did not care for the formula of this lip lacquer because it felt like I had glue on my lips after I applied it.

I say this because everything I love is always discontinued. Nars has got a winning color for me. It is a bit sticky but I have a spare lipstick brush and that is a huge helper. This is a perfect neutral shade for me. Medium skin coloring, dark hair and eyes. Couldnt tolerate those bland beige colors on my lips. This is my new go to shade. Very light in appearance and with a pink tint.

I love these NARS lip laquers. I own 5 all together and the colors are amazing. I have Sweet Charity, Hot Wired, Eros, Chica Boom and Chasity and they are awesome. Two of them NARS doesn't make anymore so I'll be heart broken when I finish them. I only wish NARS made more of them! They wear pretty much through the day with me... maybe I have to touch them up once but it's a lot less than some other lip laquers that I have purchased. I love NARS!

I love the color of this gloss. A coworker recommended it to me and it's great. It's a bit sticky, but actually sticks to your lips and not in a "gloppy" way.

I love this lip lacquer. The color looks amazing and really makes my blue eyes pop (I got the eros). It does not have a nasty taste and it lasts. I will buy this again.

I already own the Nars Chelsea Girl Lip Lacquer & love it. I bought the Baby Doll & get tons of complements on it. The color last & isn't sticky. It looks & feels fabulous.

Nars lip laquer is my all time favorite lip gloss. But it's more than just a gloss. It lasts much longer, and the colors are more vivid than regular gloss. My favorite is Baby Doll. It's smooth and never sticky.

Quick Take: great pigment, sticky in the good way
Been using Nars Lacquer for years (seriously like 10 years) and it's just great. It's not my everyday lipstick, but I always have a couple around because they make your lips look luscious and they're sticky enough to stay put for a long time. I'm partial to Sweet Charity, which as a fair, hazel-eyed, light brown woman, is the-most-perfect-pink-on-the-planet. Sephora doesn't sell it (anymore) for some reason, but they do sell Chelsea Girls, and that's fabu too, and would be lovely on literally any complexion. It's not Sweet Charity level wonderful, but it's a great neutral-with-a-kick. If Nars lowered the price ten bucks or so, I'd buy these much more often.

I love the lacquer. It's not sticky and long lasting on the lips (better than regular lip gloss). I really wish NARS still sold the color Vagabond as it was my favorite. The lip lacquer is a staple in my make-up bag.

Quick Take: non-sticky, pigmented, amazing color
This lip lacquer in 'Chelsea Girls' is one of the only glossy products I'll use on my lips. I generally prefer a more matte lipstick or a balm, but this is a highly pigmented, great quality lacquer that isn't too shiny. Plus: I've found that the 'Chelsea Girls' shade looks natural on a range of different skin tones, appearing more blush-pink on some and more nude-beige on others.

I searched high and low for that perfect lip gloss. This has just the right amount of shine and the color works with anything...work, play, casual, dressy, you name it. I've already bought another one for when I run out of the first.

Use good lip exfoliator/lip treatment prior 2 using lip lacquer..or lip lacque (pronounced "lip lock". Yes!) Thank you Sephora for discerningly selecting world-class cosmetics & making them available at rational prices in the USA. Fresh & Sephora have excellent mild sugar based skin scrubs & treatments.

Nars lip laquer IS "runway worthy". It is a professional grade product. Some detest the smell, & others r thrilled there r no synthetic fragrances added 2 them (especially those who r sensitive 2 such). This formula is high quality and stays well in place on lips (younger & older).

NOT just 4 the budding youthful lips under 30! Definitely NOT just for top models. Its luxe but scent is not its best feature 4 professional & sensible reasons. im 50+ & have used the other Nars Lip Laquers 4 over 7 yrs. i know more than my share about cosmetic formulas & cosmeceuticals, w/that said here is my review: i keep my Nars Laquer 'mainstay colors' on hand (Butterfield 8 & Bewitched..vastly different in color, but elegant, regardless of couture trends). Nars lip laquers r usually more highly pigmented but these r meant 2 b nude/sheer & promoted as such. These r durable & can be used 2 boost lip volume as a primer/plumper 2 more gloss &/or impart a higher gloss w/good lipstick and quality glosses + u can change the cast of a lip color w/the diverse array of sheer glosses in this selection - they make s glamorous subtle statement worn modestly or luxe - solo. All Nars laquers r "uber" quality tinted + pigmented according 2 use by haute couture. The scent of most Nars lip products is the same as the lip laquers here (Baby Doll, Chelsea, Eros & ). Lip glosses longevity on the wearer depends in the initial condition of the lips and the complexion. Since others wanted me 2 follow up w/suggestion. i will do a follow-up review in re: 2 this. Trading quality 4 fragrance is a "Big NO!", as a standard. HOWEVER, a natural organic fragrance such as rose otto could alleviate the wax-type scent & that would ONLY make it MORE COSTLY. Try & decide..keep, cherish or return. IF u have an aversion 2 deep scents do NOT buy. THIS formula is meant 2 perform. GREAT on clients over 40 ALSO!!

I bought this product in Chelsea girls and I love it for a nude lip! The only suggestion I'll make is to buy a brush for it. It is a small ammount of make-up you are getting for the price, so make the most of it. Also, it is not a good idea to apply with a finger, as it can get contaminated. I bought a retractable lip brush from sephora and it is perfect. A beauty bag essential!
