you can't go wrong with Guerlain
-05.08.13
Quick Take: creamy, moisturizing
It's really true; Guerlain makes some of the best lipsticks out there. Rouge Automatique and Shine Automatique are possibly my favorite formulas ever, although Rouge G is also fantastic. The RA formula is creamy and smooth, hydrating when you wear it and gives just the right sheen to your lips. I only have one, and it's actually not a color Sephora sells--I have #600, Ballade from their spring collection. I love it; it's a great every day pink, and worth picking up if you can find it. I do plan to get more of the RAs, though; the formula's just brilliant, and I love the case. Highly recommend.

Lots of compliments
-05.06.13
Quick Take: creamy
This shade of Rouge Automatique gets a lot of positive comments. I've rarely had a lipstick get so much attention.
The case is nice too. It's operable with one hand.

THIS IS IT!!! 165
-05.06.13
Quick Take: creamy, moisturizing, long wearing
First time buying Guerlain, totally amazed at the quality.
Nice color payoff, highly pigmented, not drying.
The only downside is the package not that luxury but whatever, I'm thrilled by its performance!!!
Can't wait to wear my simple grayish clothes with a berry pink pout

Quick Take: creamy, moisturizing, amazing packaging
The texture of the lipstick is absolutely perfection. It looks beautiful and it last very well. Never mind that the packing is just about the coolest thing ever.

Cherry Blossom 161
-05.03.13
Quick Take: creamy, moisturizing
Its hard to spend over 30 dollars on a lipstick, but I'm so glad I did! I got the Rouge Automatique in Cherry Blossom and the color is absolutely to die for. The lipstick is the most beautiful complex light but bright pink on my lips. Very versatile as it can be office appropriate and get dressed up to go out on the town. It has a beautiful, creamy texture and its very moisturizing. My lips lean a little dry so that's always a plus. Despite being so creamy it lasts a little longer than average.
Definitely a love for me! I'm gonna have to go back to Sephora and get more! Solid 5 stars

Okay staying power
-04.29.13
Quick Take: moisturizing
I've bought 2 of these. Chant D'Aromes 103 - light nude beige sheen has okay staying power. Unfortunately, Nahema 143 - bright coral sheen has a tendency to disappear in the center of my lips, leaving the dreaded lip outline after a few hours. In all honesty, I lip and chew my lips so the fact that they're not completely wrecked does say something about the moisturizing effects of the lipstick even though it's worn off.

Nahema 143 - bright coral sheen

Gorgeous color. Bright coral color (akin to Nars orgasm without all the sparkles).
Love the texture/consistency!

-02.24.13
Quick Take: too moist, bummed
Too Sheer! Wanted to love it because of the gorgeous gold tube and coolest design for sliding the product up so you don't lose the too. Unfortunately, almost immediately upon application this beautiful peachy color came right off. No pay off or coverage. I like an opaque lippie

Nice lipstick; wrong shade
-02.16.13
Quick Take: creamy, satiny, moisturizing
I purchased this lipstick in Chamade (126). The texture was smooth and creamy and felt very moisturizing. There is a noticeable scent, but it's pleasant enought. The color, however, was off: I wanted a natural, light pink, and this was too bright for the look I wanted to achieve. I returned this particular shade but would be willing to purchase it in a color that works for me.

Very drying lipstick
-02.11.13
Beautiful presentation and lovely colors, but unfortunately this lipstick is very drying. After wearing it for 3 hours, I had to then apply a heavy duty lip balm to my over dried lips. I tried much better, more moisturizing and less expensive lipsticks. Overpriced and not worth keeping. Very disappointing. I had to return it.

true luxury lipstick
-01.13.13
Quick Take: creamy, moisturizing, long wearing, practical
bought this at an airport after seeing it in chinese magazines many times in 142. amazing color and texture, mosturizing and long-lasting all together. stop collecting multiple tubes of cheap drugstore and invest in a tube of this instead, seriously. the flip-top applicator is high-quality and easy to use (does not damage the lipstick at all), and all my friends (yes, even guy friends and boyfriend) have been fascinated by the applicator and spent minutes addictively playing with it, and I have never before seen guys been so entranced by a women's lipstick. plan to get 140 in the future. :)

Over-priced Sample-size
-01.03.13
Quick Take: not worth it
I'm happy I tried this on at a store, 'cause I broke one of testers trying to open the thing up. I really liked the color and it felt creamy, but now that I have it (and even paid -$10 the sale price), I'm realizing it totally wasn't worth it.

Beautiful product, questionable packaging
-12.31.12
Quick Take: creamy, long wearing
The color Chamade (#164) is simply amazing, the perfect berry which is both subtle and distinguished. The lipstick is not as moisturizing as I've read in other reviews (and I'm not one who gorges on lip balms and whatever, my lips are usually alright in terms of moisture), but it's very creamy with a beautiful texture. Leaves a nice stain on my lips after 3 hours, which is long wearing enough for me. While I haven't had any problem with its packaging apart from the occasional pushing in the wrong direction, it feels too unreliable, too prone to accidents. With this price tag and Guerlain being what it is, I would expect better. It's still a beautiful product, though.

The Best and Most Luxurious!
-12.22.12
Quick Take: long wearing, creamy, moisturizing
I have the Coq D'Or and the Bal de Mal. I received a mini #120 as a sample and immediately got online to order the full size! It is the perfect red, and I have not had luck with reds. It seems that everyone can wear it!
This is good lipstick, not just luxurious. The color is well-pigmented, soft and moisturizing -and does not feather! Forget Tom Ford. This is the best there is.
I love the case. I don't know why others can't reach their upper lip. Maybe open your mouth a little?
If only the top were a mirror!!!!!

-11.29.12

This is a true luxury item. The packaging and scent are feminine and refined and ooze class. The colors are sheer but buildable. They wear well and are soft and hydrating. They feel like a dream on the lips
