Quick Take: hydrating, brightening, absorbs quickly
I got this sample to try to see if it works. I don't have deep dark black circle, but with my age, I look tired or dull with signs of aging around eye area. I have tried many eye cream that caused break out around eyes. This one isnt giving me any! That's a bonus for me. My eyes look brighter, younger. I use VERY LITTLE! It will last you months!

Quick Take: hydrating
Not really sure how well this worked at all..honestly can't tell much difference in my dark circles. Mine are related to genetics and chronic allergies (years of "eye rubbing"). I agree with other reviewers that it is hard to apply make up over it...so I only used it at night. This may be why I didn't have great results? It definitely had hydrating properties and absorbed quickly; however, not 100% sure on the brightening success.. Definitely disappointing considering the cost. I'm trying something new..hoping it'll work better! Still on the search!

I inherited chronic dark shadows from my wonderful dad. They go from bad to worse depending on my diet, sleep habits, mood. My skin care drawer has overflowed with thousands of dollars worth of eye cream and gel products, all promising to reduce under-eye shadows. Nothing has worked until this product. With the first use, I looked more rested.Only the teeniest amount is necessary, and as a bonus, it does not clog my easily clogged undereye pores like most eye creams do. It makes me look younger, more rested, and provides a wonderful base for makeup.

I have been using this product for 2 weeks now, every AM and PM. The product promises to help with dark circles, fine lines, wrinkles and puffiness so I was really hopeful. The first few days I thought that it really reduces dark circles, but I think I just wanted to see it. After 2 weeks I do not see or feel any change. I am disappointed, especially as Kate Somerville products are pretty pricey and this is the second one I tried and does not work. I guess I will finish the bottle, but if nothing changes, not buy it again.

great for dark circles

This was recommended to me by a Sephora rep when I asked about undereye dark circle treatments. They said it was also a moisturizer so I wouldnt need another product to hydrate or treat lines/wrinkles. It has been about 2 weeks, and the dark circles are definitely dimishing! I would say there has been better than a 50% reduction/lightening of the dark circles. I apply from the inner corner of my eye down & outward to cover the dark circle area. I dont find that this is really doing much for fine lines or wrinkes, therefore can't give it a 6-star rating, so I do use another eye moisturizer cream (I usually like Dermadoctor Wrinkle Revenge but wth the Cytocell I use Bliss the Youth Eye cream during the day, works well under makeup with the Cytocell). Very happy with the reduced dark circles so far! Mine are due to seasonal allergies, not enough sleep & low iron levels (cyclic) but often forget to take my Rx iron. One thing I did do with this was get a sample first, and then when I bought the bottle, noticed one pump is hard to control & gives more than I need so I put the unused in the sample container & use it the next time. Needs very small amount, and will last!

It's ok I guess

My skin is sensitive and thin so I have crepey skin under my eyes. To top it off, I've also always had dark circles too. This stuff seems to do ok, but I've just never found anything that does what I hope it would. If I had any pennies to save, I would put them in an account for plastic surgery.
This seems to help at first when I first put it on, but after a few hours any effect is gone.

I've used Perricone and LaMer, but this product is the best - her entire line is awesome. I'm in my 30s with fair skin, and this eye cream has my delicate under eye area moist and less wrinkly almost immediately, without being heavy. Not sure if the dark circles improved 'cause I love me some concealer.

products can only do so much for dark circles, but so far i am happy with this product. i have not used it long enough , so i will stay at 4 stars bc i have seen a difference. it absorbs very quickly and does not get funky under concealer.

feel like a debbydowner writing just bad reviews today but want others to know that there are people who aren't happy with this product. this product doesn't do anything. absolutely nothing....it absorbs quickly enough and i like the feel and texture and no smell but it does n.o.t.h.i.n.g.

This eye cream comes in a small pump dispenser which has a indicator on the side to show how much of the eye cream is left in the bottle. This cream is more of a light lotion consistency, it absorbs well, I have noticed on a few occasions some peeling as noted in other reviews, but if I give it time to absorb into my skin this doesn't happen. I find it's very nice to use during the day, because it is light and non greasy it does not shift or smear my eye makeup, however I like a more moisturizing eye cream for at night. I am anemic and have horrible allergies so the dark circles around my eyes tend to be bad, I do notice a slight improvement, which I know there is no miracle eye cream to completely diminish dark circles.

Well, I've tried just about every "dark circle eye cream." I put that in quotes because I am really starting to think there is no such thing.
Another product, another disappointment- in regards to dark circles.
It moisturizes okay…I usually have to apply something over it for more moisture.
I would not buy this again. I would not use this if it were at a lower price point. It's just not good for me.

Quick Take: expensive
I'm 23 and don't get good enough sleep. I have fair skin, which also happens to be very oily, and the skin beneath my eyes is really very transparent. I've been using this product for about two weeks now and as far as brightening my dark circles, I haven't seen much in terms of a noticeable difference. It helps deflate my puffiness though which helps with the unflattering shadowing that can cause. When I first researched products to help with dark circles and undereye puffiness, for me, the decision was almost a tie between Shiseido's White Lucent eye cream and this one. I have to say this one works better for me, the White Lucent had a slight fragrance to it and it didn't sink into my skin as well as I'd liked. It looked and felt a little greasy, and to be honest it kind of tingled, which I didn't like too much either. The CytoCell cream is completely unscented and doesn't sting when I apply it. The Cytocell cream also sits well under my concealer and corrector, I find I have tiny creases by my lower lash line and this cream helps to minimize them so that the concealer doesn't settle in there. When I was using Shiseido's White Lucent eye cream, my under eye makeup would slide off, which was so unfortunate! Although I haven't seen a big difference yet, I plan to at least finish the bottle before writing this product off.

I don't usually buy expensive products, and have never tried any others for this particular problem, but after suffering from increasingly dark circles and discoloration on my eyelids, under-eyes, and in the divots of the bridge of my nose for the past 8 years, I decided to finally try to do something about it as a birthday present to myself.
This stuff is magic! I began noticing a difference overnight! Now, four days in to daily use (am/pm), I've seen 80% of the darkness VANISH! Only a little puffiness remains. While this hasn't done anything for the bags (I work way too much), it does what it says, and quickly. I'm curious to see the effects of prolonged use. I'll keep you updated...

I really hoped this product would work for me. I am very pale and have always had dark, under eye circles. After using this for a number of week I am sad to report it really has not done anything to change the look of the dark circles.
