Still not there...
-05.17.13
I bought this for my mother at her request for mother's day. She is really picky about smells.
It didn't REALLY smell per-say, but it still had a little funky odor. The color that developed on here was so slight and took around 3 applications. She has fairly light skin/ reddish-brown hair. For $70 not really worth it.
As far as smell though, there are some god-awful sunless tanners on the market and this one was really one of the best "scentless" in my opinon.

Really Disappointed!

Quick Take: not worth the $$$$
I spent a lot of money on this thinking it was going to be the best tan yet! I am sorry to say that it turns me more orange than tan and I would return it except that during the very first time using it, I dropped the bottle and it broke. I saved 1/2 of it and have been using it but do not like it! Since I broke the bottle, there is no chance of getting my $69 back! :(

Smells and feels luxurious

Am very fair. Very natural looking. Gives nice color and glow. Does not make my sun spots darker. Major plus. No weird smell and absolutely no streaking. My skin is firmer and softer . Love it

Meh...
-02.15.13
Quick Take: gradual, moisturizing, subtle
Let me preface the details by saying this stuff works, doesn't smell bad, and hasn't left me orange or streaky. Now for the details. I am realistic about gradual tanners. My skin is very fair, and I don't kid myself with dreams of having a super brown tan without help from a bed or the sun itself. I am content with a subtle glow and much prefer a realistic skin tone to an orange one. I use the Clarisonic Mia2 twice/day because I have blemish prone skin and, unfortunately, that means I lose a lot of color from any self tanner I use (not necessarily a bad thing since it keeps my face from turning orange or streaking). Because the color with this tanner builds very slowly I find myself having to apply it everyday, sometimes twice/day just to keep the color consistent. Another con is that the very first night I used this my skin broke out. I didn't give up on it though. I mix it with my Murad oil-control mattifying lotion and that cleared up my skin almost immediately. However, mixing any tanner with a lotion keeps the color from building to its full potential. So yet again, I am having to apply it more frequently just to keep the color. It's just too much work for this kind of price. If it didn't cause me to breakout I would over look the other flaws, especially since me using a clarisonc isn't Perricone's fault. I've used sun laboratories in a medium tone and have had much better results for less money. It's unfortunate because the color of this tanner does look great, and it gives my skin the perfect glow. Plus, I like the idea of getting the benefits of a Perricone moisturizer and some color at the same time. FYI: In addition to my face, I use this on my neck and chest which are not blemish prone. This product has worked wonderfully for them.

its great!

I've used sunless tannning products on my face all year for the past sixteen years. I'm constantly researching and trying better formulas. Bought this stuff yesterday and applied last night and this morning (to get things going) and I already have a tanned face...not orangey. It smelled great going on, and only had a slight self tanner smell afterwards, but nothing so bad that you'd ever need to skip an application to avoid not being stinky. Best thing is, I don't feel dry! Normally self tanners can dehydrate my skin and make me wonder if its ever worth it. Four ounces is a good deal considering you can pay about $40 for nearly two ounces of other lesser quality products.

TOO EXPENSIVE BUT NOT GOOD AT ANY PRICE!

Quick Take: orange, streaked, stains, difficult application
Thought this would be great. Didn't mind spending money as reviews seemed to appeal to my needs and brand name. Threw it out!! Streaked, orange, stained. I am no rookie and know how to apply these products. Disappointed:(

LOOOOVE THIS
-11.12.11
Quick Take: perfect in every way
The best self tanner I have ever used and I have tried tons of them. Here's why I will never use anything else:
Smells great, doesnt make my face oily, doesnt break me out, is very comfortable under my face primer, buildable color(it does take at least 3 applications to see results BUT the payoff is no streaks and I control how dark I want to be), it sinks in instanly, is not sticky at all, isnt drying like other self tanners, takes no time to apply(about as long as it takes to put on body lotion), and the color is BEAUTIFUL!!
If you want instant results-this isnt for you, but after the desired color is acheived maintaining that color is a snap. Did I mention no streaks??!!
***The price is more than reasonable when you consider you are getting a generous 4oz(!), moisture and anti aging benefits. Most high end facial tanners are well over 30 dollars for an ounce. I use it mainly on my face, chest, arms and legs and a bottle lasts me two months easily. You will go through the first 1/4 of the bottle quickly but once you reach the level of color you want it takes very little product to keep a nice believable tan.

Save Your $$
-09.23.11
Quick Take: over-priced for orange
I'm fair-skinned so I expected results a bit faster: not happening. And when it finally did show some color, it was embarassingly orange-toned. Ugh. Not worth the price for orange. Yes, it smells decent, and it doesn't dry your skin like many can, but it didn't give me a tan, which was what I wanted it for. Next!!

No horrible odor here :o))))
-09.01.11
Love this product. The tan comes gradually so no risk for orange streaks. This is the first self tanner that smells good. I have tried almost every single product on the market and can't stand the usual "self-tanner odor"
Will be using this one from now on.

I'm not a huge fan of self-tanners, but this I like! It doesn't streak at all, if any, and doesn't have a horrible smell.

The PERFECT Self Tanner that is even more
-07.09.11
Quick Take: firming hydrating gradual long lastinnatural tan, multi-tasking
Every self -tanner stinks. Not this one. But the best part is this is all you need. You won't have to scrub then moisturize before using this product like you have to do with every other self tanner. It is an all in one. It hydrates amazingly and it firms!!! Plus it is good for your skin as it treats it with ProVitamin B. It is a gradual tan so once you get your desired natural color you can just maintain it. So it is very long lasting. If you think it is expensive you are wrong because it does it all for you. Firms, hydrates, and treats your skin. I am so hooked on this because I have always been searching for something like this. Nothing has truly made me happy. When this fades it is natural so no strange patches. LOVE THIS!!!!!! THANK YOU PERRICONEMD!

Great Stuff!
-07.08.11
Having gone through a touch of melanoma, faking a tan is the only way to go for me. So, a firming, tanning solution with natural looking color is generally what I'm looking for, & this one fills the billl! It is a bit too expensive, yet it does do what it says, and the "tan" doesn't 'pill' or slough off. Now, that's a product I can appreciate!

Gorgeous Golden Glow!
-07.01.11
Quick Take: skin-quenching, moisturizing, very effective, sanitary applicator
This is a great, really effective no-sun tanner. I think it is brilliant that it has a pump applicator. Very easy to apply! It is creamy, yet lightweight & very absorbant so you dont have to wait forever to get dressed! I am extremely fair & this has given me a natural golden sun-kissed glow. I ADORE the fact that it has a subtle shimmer of iridescence on your skin when in sunlight, very pretty & SEXY!!! And best of all? Not an orange, uneven streak in sight & I am very pale to begin with. The color layers beautifully. It is right up there with Clarins in my book! Please see my video below!

Light pleasant very little scent
-06.14.11
Quick Take: medium light feel, creamy, can be orange, non irritating, moisturizing, a little goes a long way, suitable for sensitive skin
SCENT: Fantastic light scent, hardly any at all. Smells a little like the faintest whiff of coconut-vanilla Hawaiian Tropic, but its so little. Even less of a smell than Clarins Liquid Bronze(which is reputed to be one of the least scented self tanners) ..
DEVELOPMENT TIME: It's a gradual tan. It develops 2x faster than the Clarins Liquid Bronze (And Jergens). It is a cream, not a liquid. A teaspoon covered my face, neck and chest.
FEEL: I have experienced self tanners stinging and burning my skin after the 3rd or 4th application. But this was fine on my skin.
COLOR: First application, seemed to be in the right direction. I was happy with the light wash of bronze.
I felt ambitious and reapplied more 40 mins later. Left on all day. At night it appeared slightly orange. Exfoliated and it looked blotchy.
By the morning it was a better color. I dared a 3rd application which completely evened everything out. Whew. After a plain shower, any orange tint was gone.
Lotion color is a light cream off-white with the tiniest shimmer of iridescence. A residual sheen left on the skin after application, can be easily washed off with water for a matte indiscernable natural finish.
I found if the color turned orange, it's because I applied too much all at once, and the orange tone faded by rinsing with water.
I got this for my face, it's a bit more orange than my usual olive-tan. But if I use it lightly, it's fine with a bit of powder.
***** I wish this came in colors for different skin tones, Olive etc.. Here's crossing my fingers to hope they develop some soon. :)

Fabulous and Impractical
-05.06.11
Quick Take: gradual tan, pleasant odor, moisturizing, just too expensive, lovely color, skin-healthy ingredients, dries in minutes
I love Dr. Perricone's products. Probably never tired one I didn't like. Thing is, after applying this stuff full-body for 7 to 10 days, the bottle is just about empty. I often spare no expense for products I love, but I simply am not willing to pay $65 every two weeks for a self-tanner. It's a wonderful product that gradually builds a subtle tan. There are umpteen good-for-you ingredients, and my skin really loves it. But I'll save the extra cash to spend on Acyl-Glutathione and Cold Plasma.
