I tried my sister's and I was hooked! So I bought #4 and #5. The coverage is amazing, even though it's sheer, it lasts a really long time unlike other sheer lipsticks. It's very hydrating and it even tastes kind of fruity! I totally love it!

Quick Take: lovely, scented, great pay off
So far I have Cherry, Grapefruit, Pomegranate and Berry. For being a sheer collection, they have amazing color pay off. I would have to say that the Mouthwatering Berry is my favorite. There's no way to describe this collection other than "Wow". I'm literally buying the Coconut and the Papaya as I type. Oh, and did I mention how amazing they smell? Like fresh mango.

Quick Take: hydrating
i recently got #9 cool guava or something like that.. and im in love! its sort of like a bright pink but since its sheer its not soo bright... it sorta looks like my natural lip color but prettier haha.. but yeah im not usually a lipstick lipgloss girl because my hair usually gets stuck on my lips and its annoying.. but I LOVE THIS SOO MUCH! GET IT LIKE NOW! and the shimmer barely shows up that much so if you dont like shimmer like me it wont really matter..

My fav brand of lipstick! I purchased the color in guava from seeing it on several blogs & I am in love! It smells good, stays on, & it's so moisturizing! Going back to sephora to purchase another color!

Sorry to report but this YSL lipstick wears off within 15 minutes and that is without drinking anything. I am going to return it ASAP!

These are pretty amazing. They have amazing colors, which are can be applied perfectly sheer or more opaque depending on the amount of layers applied-I usually apply two. They are so natural and make your lips look very plump. Did I mention the packaging is the most gorgeous and luxurious thing ever?
The only thing I would change about these is the level of moisture they have, as they can feel a bit drying at times...nothing a sheer application of balm can't take care of.
Certainly recommend these, I will repurchase them when I run out and can't wait to try out more shades.

Quick Take: hydrating, smooth, soft, sheer
Yes the price is a little on the high side, but it is totally worth it. This is the first lip product by YSL I have tried and am already picking out new colors. I got the 02 papaya color and it is very sheer, doesn't add color to my lips at all really, but it is so comfortable on my lips..not sticky..so soft and just perfect. I dont write reviews unless I really love a product..and this definitely deserved it!

Quick Take: hydrating, shiny, non sticky
This was an impulse splurge to be sure but, oh, how wonderful it is! It makes me feel like a real live grown up. ;) But, beyond it's fancy-ness, it truly is a great product. It's moisturizing and has beautiful sheer color payoff. It also smells really good! I thought it would be a one time treat but I may be stuck. I may need to repurchase this one. I almost rated this 4 stars because of the price but, I really think it's a 5 star lipstick.

I bought # 13 and love this!!! It is a bit much for basically a balm with color.. but the color is so pretty and natural I can wear it all day!! It doesn't stay on and wear long though.
They also don't carry it in the store, for some reason :(

Quick Take: hydrating, non-stick, moisturizing, sheer, shiny
High shine, moisturizing, non-sticky, and an excellent alternative to a lip gloss. I have been searching for the perfect natural lip colour for years and never found one until this. Colour #13 gives your lips the right amount of added colour if you have pale lips. Very happy with the consistency of the formula and colour.

I am in love with this lipstick!
First of all, I usually don't like the taste of lipsticks but this one is not too sweet yet it still has a pleasant raspberry hint to it.
The color is not overwhelming for my blonde hair and fair skin, it actually makes my complexion and lips look much more fresh and very youthful. It is very moisturizing but not sticky. Love the casing too, it is heavy and is so pretty, I would probably purchase this just for the packaging =)

Quick Take: hydrating
I bought this balm in pomegranate and it is EXACTLY the color I was hoping, its pink but sheer. I went in wanting something that was similar to the Givenchy Hydra Sparkling Magic lip and cheek balm but that i could just apply without using my fingers and it totally delivers. It has great color and lasts for hours and hydrates well enough that I don't feel the need apply anything under it. And the packaging is just gorgeous also.

this is great for sheer color and luxurious moisture. it also has a nice faint fruity smell or flavor. very subtle. the color is quite sheer, so if you're looking for dramatic color, try one of YSL's other lip colors.
