Quick Take: good value, perfect for traveling
I would buy it again just for the smell! It definitely leaves your hair glossy (you can see it more on dark hair). The only thing I didn't like about it was that it doesn't lather much and feels slimy putting it on.

Got this for my niece who was traveling on Christmas Day. Needed something that she could put in her carry on bag. This seemed tofill the bill and she loved it.

The other stuff in the set is good, but the SHINE ILLUMINATOR is incredible. I had a small sample packet of the three main products (shampoo/conditioner/leave in) and liked it enough to try it a few more times, but wasn't sure if I wanted to invest in full size bottles of everything.
My hair recently got FRIED when my stylist tried to balayage my black hair...(duh, I should've known better!) and I've been trying everything under the sun to get my shiny, healthy hair back again. I mean everything.
I found out the shampoo and conditioner are very good, but the Shine Illuminator spray is the keeper. It isn't heavy, sticky, oily-I just spritz a few pumps on my palms and rub my hands together, smooth it over my hair and WOW. Super reflective, shiny, healthy and no flyaway hair. It lasts all day too. I'll be purchasing this on its own from now on. (It doesn't matter if you use it with other shampoos, it does the same trick)

but the shampoo doesn't lather, the conditioner weighs my hair down, and the creme and spray make my hair extremely greasy. I wanted to love this but it's not worth the money. I love the smell, so I just rub the creme on my body as a scented lotion and use the spray as perfume.

The shine mist is wonderful, as is the shine cream. Very lightweight, and didn't make my hair feel greasy, left it very soft and touchable. The conditioner is good too. My only complaint is with the shampoo. It doesn't lather well, and the instant it hits my hair, it feels like it completely stripped all of the oil and moisture from it. From this set, I would buy full size versions of everything but the shampoo.

This shampoo is a must for colored hair. I was told a few times how shinny my hair looked. I have occasional frizzes and this with another product that I use works well together. This travel size set is perfect to take on the airplane. I'll be buying this again.

I do like Alterna Caviar products, and I saw this set and thought it would be great. I wanted to love this set, it looks like it would be great for travel. The only positive: the brilliance creme.
Here are the let downs:
1. horrible scent (grassy, bitter)
2. shampoo/conditioner left my straight hair a tangled, curly, dry mess.

Quick Take: vibrant and smells fresh
Love this. It really transformed my hair. After a few uses my hair felt silkened and soft. I live in Hawaii, so my hair becomes dry due to salt water and the hot sun, so this whole set added that extra oomph it lacked. Esp love the leave in cream and I don't shampoo my hair every time I shower.

All four products in this set smell amazing!! The shampoo lathers nicely and leaves my hair feeling clean yet not stripped of natural oils. The conditioner leaves my hair feeling great but not heavy. The styling cream goes a long way with just a small amount...too much and it will take any unnatural curls right out but, it does leave your hair feeling extremely silky. I couldn't keep my hands out of my hair - felt great. The styling mist also does not require much to get a benefit...downfall is that the pump does not work well - leaks horribly.
I will be purchasing this line in full sized containers!!

I have never had a bad experience with a sephora product before. These products have a bad smell and the shampoo/conditioner left my hair looking like a grease pit. After blow drying my hair, it looked like I hadn't just washed it. I shampooed again with a different shampoo and it still looks greasy. This will be my first return!

Quick Take: good value
I only used the shampoo and conditioner once before switching to Wella Calm for my sensitive scalp, but I liked the result. As for the cream and spray, I absolutely love and stand by these two products. I haven't let air dried hair work as a style in many years, but I used the cream on damp hair and sprayed with the shine when it was dry and WOW! Love this.

I had been searching for hair products that would tame the static that has been plaguing me this year. After trying dozens of products, this set blew me away. My medium-long, straight hair looks and feels amazing, and I haven't had any static since I've started using them. The shampoo leaves my hair feeling clean and the conditioner is lightweight. It does take a while longer to blow dry, but the results are worth it. The brilliance cream is good for smoothing flyaways, but isn't necessary to maintain shine. The shine mist made my hair look a little greasy even though it was only applied at the ends. Overall, I'm very happy with the set.

I love this shampoo and conditioner! it makes my colored and heat styled hair shiny and soft. the only thing i didn't like was it doesn't lather to well. however if it makes my hair this soft and shiny i can deal with the lack of lather.
