Quick Take: blends in easily, natural
This is not chalky at all. It leaves my skin with a fresh, dewy look. It's light-weight and hasn't broken me out yet.

SPF 30 with no breakouts

Quick Take: light
I have a problem with a lot of SPF 30 products and breakouts. This is also one of the few SPF 30s that doesn't feel completely sticky. This does not cause any irritation/breakouts and I've already used a whole bottle. I believe this improved my skin tone and made my skin softer and my usually forever-lasting-hyperpigmentation has significantly faded. I've read somewhere that niacinamide-based products can prevent hyperpigmentation and the active ingredient in this is related to niacinamide.

Love the feel

When I first got this product I thought it was a moisturizer with SPF, come to find it was just an SPF, but it's so moisturizing you can use it as is and not have any added weight or product on the skin. I live in Houston so it gets crazy hot and humid in the summer (just about ALL year) and this stuff is so light weight. You have to give it a sec to sink in if you mix it with a moisturizer though, I find when you use it alone it dries down a lot quicker. It's almost a combo of a liquid/lotion feel, it's definitely NOT a cream. There's so heavy sunscreen smell or film left on the skin after application and it actually feels good on the skin. I don't feel like I'm just layering on some goop on my face (I've evened used this on my body when I forget to wear my regular body SPF).

I was obsessed with this moisturizer when I first got it. It smells delicious and is very moisturizing. However, after using for a couple of week my skin became oilier and oilier throughout the day. I was really hoping that this would be a long time purchase for me but I will return.

Quick Take: moisturizing
I have combination skin that gets extremely dry in the winter time so I was desperate for a moisturizer that didn't make my skin oily or wear off midday.
This lotion definitely deliviered! I apply in the morning, it stays on all day, and keeps my skin incredibly moisturized - and soft! No joke, until I wash my face again that night, my skin is still so moisturized.
The SPF is such a plus, it defintiely takes up the place of two products.
My only warning is that it does go on a little thick initially, and your face looks really oily at first, but just give in a minute or two to dry. It doesn't feel heavy at all, it just might be offputting at first - but it's definitely doing it's job!

I actually really like this sunblock, it's not thick nor does it leave your face chalky white or greasy. I'm wearing it over philosophy moisturizer and it feels good, I have oily combo skin, so I was pleasantly surprised with this.

Luxurious and Light

I received a sample a little while ago and finally used it on a weekend trip out of town. Wow. I mean, I didn't know sunscreen could feel this way on your skin. My face felt soft and smooth and it was the lightest sunscreen I have ever put on. My friend used it as well and actually tried tucking it in her bag. With all that said I would happily continue to use it if the price point was a little lower, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. A little too pricey for my budget right now but a great product!

The best facial sunscreen I have ever found!

Quick Take: non-greasy, superior, moisturizing
I also received a deluxe sample of this a few weeks ago and hadn't tried it until this week when on vacation. I usually hate sunscreen on my face...which is bad because that is where I probably need it most. Most of them make me look very greasy within minutes but this was sooo different. I went all day on vacation in 106 degree heat and when I was able to look in the mirror later in the day my makeup looked the same as when I had put it on...a shout out also goes to Tarte's new clay foundation and maracuja oil concealer (found on the Q.) Anyway, I have tried a lot of samples of sunscreens and they have always ended up in my bin of "giveaways." I have NEVER found a sunscreen for my face that I would pay money for...until now.

Good sunscreen, helps sun damage

Quick Take: lightweight, protecting, improves signs of sun damage, fast drying
I received this as a sample and am again impressed with Strivectin products. It's a bit pricey but a little dab goes a pretty long way. I've been using it daily for about the last week or two and I haven't broken out from it (which happens with most moisturizers and/or sunscreens I try) and my skin seems to have a better appearance. I live in a place where the sun rays are really intense this is a must!
My only complaint is that it feels a little greasy on my skin until it dries. I typically use the Clinique Moisture Surge because it dries quickly but the Strivectin feels quite a bit different. However, it does make a great base for my mineral foundation. It has a very mild scent to it that sort of smells like the Strivectin-SD but more subtle. I actually kind of like it and it goes away quickly.
Overall, I really like this and it's much better than other sunscreen moisturizers I've tried. No weird white film but does feel slightly greasy immediately after application. However, it hasn't made me break out which is a big deal. I will probably be purchasing the full size shortly.

Quick Take: moisturizing, lightweight, intensive sun protection
I received it as a sample... It's one of the best sunscreens I have ever used! It's not greasy at all. Really lightweight and moisturizing. As the description of the product says, it doesn't leave my face white (I'm black, so when a sunscreen leaves a white film, it's definitely visible). This sunscreen doesn't seem to be known and it's unfortunate because it's really amazing. It is a little bit pricey, but I think that it is definitely worth it.
