Quick Take: easy to use, pricey
29$ for this? Not gonna say which but certain high end brands have MUCH better heat protection/straightening sprays. I used this with 2 different flat irons, It also seems like it makes my hair a bit too shiny for my liking, I like that aspect where it lives up to high standard ingredients but honestly, lower the price or make a way bigger can.

Quick Take: easy to use, lightweight, non-sticky
I had previously used this spray and wasn't that impressed. Because our weather has been super humid lately, I decided to give it another try. This time, I watched the how-to videos on the LP website and it made all the difference in the world! I had been using it all wrong (spraying it like a hairspray) but once used correctly I loved it and will continue to repurchase.
Spray damp hair in sections using more than you would think - almost like a treatment. For best results blow dry and then spray product again before flat ironing.
Watching the videos on the LP website really made me want to try some of their other products

If your hair is thin and not very curly this may be the product for you. My hair is short, moderately thick and wavy. This spray did absolutely nothing to help my hair be straight. I had high expectations after the video. Unfortunately, it didn't live up to it's claims.

Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use, smooths fly-aways, long lasting
This product does everything it says it does. I don't use a lot of hairspray or styling products- I'm just a blow dry and go gal and this product is quick and lasts for days. Very happy with this line.

Quick Take: lightweight, non-sticky, easy to use
I used this spray on my wet hair with the defrizz nourishing creme. Went back and bought 2 more cans. The frizz nourishing creme was a sample and I ordered the large bottle. I'm a loyal bumble and bumble girl but this stuff is a hug from the baby Jesus when you live in Hotlanta! Shine, no frizz, bounce, when I flat iron my hair is stick straight. Lightweight and makes my hair so shiny. The creme and this spray has taken the place of all of my serums oils creams etc for styling.

I've been looking for a product that would keep my hair straight without having to constantly touch it up and this does it. Hair stayed straight for days, didn't need touch ups even after a shower. Only con is your hair gets greasier faster.

I have very thick heavy hair that is straight on top, wavy mid to ends with curls here & there & underneath. My point is it is crazy hair! Having 3 kids I do not have time everyday to blow dry, flat-iron & style my hair. With this product I dont have to! I can spray it on when damp, let it air dry & still get pretty straight hair. When I do flat-iron it'll last 2-3 days. Worth every penny! On my 3rd can!

I have a friend that worked at Sephora. She introduced me to this product. It made her hair shinier than it already was. I bought a small bottle of it. I didn't read the directions at first and used it after i flat ironed my hair. It worked as long as the weather cooperated. Once I read the instructions it worked better! I don't go without this stuff now. Yes, it does tend to go everywhere when sprayed but I found if I hold the can closer to my head the spray doesn't go everywhere. Love, love, love this stuff. can't say enough good about it!

One of the friendly store staff recommended this for my wavy, frizzy, color treated hair to give me longer lasting flat iron results. It has worked really well for me - my style now lasts from hair wash to hair wash with only minor touchups. I think my hair stays cleaner too.

Quick Take: for all hair types, easy to use, long lasting
If you blow dry to straighten or use a tool, whatever your hair's texture, without this product you are working too hard! Leaves nothing but silkiness, and lasts thru 2 shampoos. Great for second/thrid day styling too! THERE IS NO BETTER PRODCT ON THE MARKET! WORTH EVERY PENNY!

I love this product!! It's easy to use and has a pleasant smell. I have color treated curly hair, which sometimes is frizzy too. With this product, flat ironing is a cinch, no build up. Straight and no frizz, even when it rains!! I wash my hair every few days and it stays straight for those days. Love it!

When you first look at this the price jumps at you but believe me it's all worth it!! I have thick hair at the root but thin at the ends and everytime I straighten my hair it still looks fried and not the least bit shiny but with this I use it when I blow dry and straighten and right after you iron your hair it is soo much softer shiny and just beautiful n silky, trust me it's worth it!!

Hello, this is my review on this Straight Styling Hair Spray by Living Proof. I just bought this product, just to try it out, and so far it does not leave my hair sticky and flacky. I like it because, it leaves my hair styled and i can comb thru it without any problems and it does add some shine to the hair. And I also like the scent of it but, it is kinda expensive

Quick Take: expensive, smelly, does what it says but no more
I have thin, curly hair and was looking for a product to straighten and smooth.
For the price, I thought the bottle would be much larger. I was disappointed to find out it was quite small - about the 1/4 of a "normal" spray can, but for the same price. As other reviewers noted, the initial smell and density of spray is very strong and if you have allergies or asthma, I would steer clear.
While this did do a good job of straightening my hair, my strands looked pretty dry and I had to touch up everything the next morning.
It's not horrible, but you can find better products for the same or a better value.
