Best curling iron ever.

My whole life whenever I curled my hair it would fall within a few hours. I would have to put 500 pounds of hairspray and then the underneath of my hair would be a tangled mess. This wand is honestly the best thing I've ever bought. It curls my entire head in under 10 minutes and gives me beautiful curls that last for over 24 hours, and the best part is I don't put any hairspray whatsoever!! I'm so obsessed with it I curl my hair almost everyday, and it never burns. I love it so much I recommend it to everyone! It's definitely a must-buy.

It takes a little practice, but once you've got the hang of it, it's amazing! Creates beautiful curls, as loose or tight as you want them to be, in half the time of a clamp curling iron. My hair always looks flawless after I use this and it even looks great the next day after sleeping on it! Just make sure to wear the glove- I got cocky and burned myself.

I love this curling iron. Curls usually fall out of my hair but these curls hold all day long. Perfect beach waves. My only complaint is the handle gets really hot so you have to hold farther down

Quick Take: hot, versatile, easy to use
I have never been one to curl my hair. I was always sort of afraid of burning my hair on the iron, so I have never owned a curling iron. This thing is awesome! Depending on how long I hold the hair around the barrel, I can get waves or curls. My hair is pretty long (hangs down past my...underarms) and I have to use it upside down, not sure how one uses it right-side up, maybe I'm just uncoordinated.
I haven't tried cheaper models but I wanted to buy something that would last and was recommended this one by the lovely ladies of Sephora!

I do not write many reviews but after using this curling iron I had to. My hair is very long, extremely straight and fine, I have never been able to get it to hold a curl. However, within a half hour of first trying this my hair was fully curled and they stayed until the next day. I did use a bit of hair spray but I dont think I actually even needed that. It was incredibly easy to use, I did use the heat glove but it just made it that much easier. Would definitely recommend this product to anyone who wants gorgeous curly hair!

Super Fast - Beautiful curls and waves!

This is my second try with the Sultra; first time was the 1" and now the 3/4 ". My hair is fine, but I have a lot of it and it is currently barely touching my shoulders. I got this iron because I wanted to make 'quick' waves and volume without using my regular clip iron - which takes so much longer. I have to say I've had success! The one inch was too big but the 3/4 inch is perfect and I've discovered that I can create three different styles of curl/wave depending on how I twist my hair onto the rod, or how tightly I wrap it or even if I twist it straightly or let it curl up on itself. My curls last at least three days (by the third day I put it up and still have wonderful volume). I do workout a lot so usually it gets washed every day or every other day - but even when I work out, it looks great. I find that even using this rod without all the typical products, I still get great, smooth waves.
When I first bought this product, the initial use was iffy because it did not heat up all the way - I could still touch the rod. I unplugged it and when I used it the next try ( I did have it packed up ready to return) I clicked the GFCI switch and plugged it in - viola! Ready to use in 20 to 30 seconds and HOT!
My recommendation is to get an additional glove to use, that way there is no fussing around when doing the whole head of hair. My whole head curled takes me 10 minutes now - it used to take 40. Win Win!
Enjoy it if you get it! If my hair gets longer (and I don't cut it again) I will get the larger one too.

Quick Take: awesome, easy to use
I have A LOT of hair, and it very thick. When I curl my hair with a traditional curling iron the curls fall within about 3 hours or so, even with product. I used the Bombshell for NYE and got sooo many compliments from all of friends about how sexy the curls were. And they were all asking WHERE I got my hair done! I curled all of my hair in twenty minutes with absolutely no product and they next day all curls were still intact, just softer. I still got compliments the next day. I officially swear by the Bombshell now. I just had a hard time with the pink glove, opted not to use it. I found it was more in the way than helpful.

This is seriously, the best curling iron I have ever used (and I have used a lot). The curls are amazing and I don't have to use a ton of product in my hair to get the curls to hold. I highly recommend this iron.

Yes, there is a bit of technique in using this iron. It probably took three days practise to get the exact effect I was after, playing around with big thick curls and little ringlets. This product made my frizzy currly hair sleek and smooth for days. Unfortunately after only having the tool for a few months I took it on an overseas trip as it turns out the "universal voltage" is not so universal after all. I was so sad for three weeks on holidays not having my gorgeous sexy hair but the Sultra customer service has been outstanding and they honoured the two year warranty - just waiting for my replacement tool to arrive!

I bought the 1" last year & fell in love. Put the 3/4" on my wish list for this year & have no regrets w/purchase. The 1" was too big for my 4' 11", 17 y/o daughter's hair, but the 3/4" was PERFECT! I curled her hair for her senior pictures last week & even after being outside for 2 hours, climbing trees, walking through pastures, sitting on docks, her hair still fell into beautiful waves. I was surprised....on my own hair which is waist length, I actually prefer this size wand. It makes for tighter curls that I love. As w/the 1", these curls last though sleeping & on into the next day I couple it w/Bumble & Bumble thickening spray & just love the soft hold. Put the oval rod on my wish list for next year. Can't wait! Great product!!

My hair is fine and straight as a bone. With regular curling irons it takes at least 1 whole can of hairspray to hold my curls, and even then they only last for a couple hours. With the bombshell my curls can last for 2-3 days WITH NO PRODUCT in my hair!! Totally worth the money!

Quick Take: satisfying
This curling iron only lacks one thing: heat settings. My fine hair can't take 400degrees as much as it could 270. Otherwise, This is my favorite curling iron (and i have a lot of curling irons :D)
By the way, the curls in my photo have been in for like 15 hours so they lasted awesome.

Yes, it does not take just 15 mins the first time out of the gate. In fact, it takes much longer. BUT each time you use it, you get better curls and get better at creating them. I've had mine for just about two weeks and absolutely love it. My hair was a bit crazy the first time I used it, but I kept practicing and now get tons of compliments. You can get tossled look, curly, funky and office appropriate w/ a kick. If I had to pick a drawback it would be the glove. Should be stronger and could possibly use two so you don't have to switch from hand to hand.

This wand is so great! It heats up super fast and when curling you don't have to hold it very long. I have very fine hair and when using this the curl actually lasts until the next day. I had heard that the Bachelorette Emily Maynard used it and it did not disappoint!

Originally, I thought it was too expensive and changed my mind various times. This is the most expensive hair tool I've ever bought, NEVERTHELESS absolutely worth it. If its in your budget, I say but it. If not, save up! Lol seriously though, the best!

I'm not sure its much more special than any other curling rod. I tried it for a while and was too frustrated with the straight ends you get from having to hold the ends yourself. I had to return it and go back to my $20 curling iron.
