I love LaVanille products, including the vanilla/passion fruit fragrance. The shower gel was less expensive than our Philosophy, smells great (even my husband likes it). And it's great to shave with. Highly recommend!

I have been using LaVanila products for awhile, but I always, ALWAYS come back for their body wash. I won't use anything else as this wash is gentle, effective, moisturizing and natural which is very appealing to me. The scent itself is absolutely wonderful and while I have tried the other scents, I adore this one the most. I would highly recommend this as it gives a closer shave than expensive chemical filled shave creams with no razor bumps. I will always buy this product, it's one of my must haves.

The biggest draw for me is what isn't in this product so I can justify spending a little extra for a natural product.
It's perfect for shaving and while I was tempted to save it just for shaving and use a less expensive body wash, I just love the way it makes my skin feel all over and how it leaves a light scent after my shower.
And there's a bonus: I also tried it as a shampoo and conditioner and it works well for this too. A little bit goes a long way so ultimately the price may not be such an issue after all.

I am madly in love with the Lavanila Coconut Vanilla perfume. I went to the store in search of a lotion to go along with the perfume, but there was nothing for the scent I wanted. I saw the body wash and decided to try it. It smelled fine, not great, and I didn't notice anything special about the product that made it shower gel AND shave gel. For the price, I was underwhelmed, and I won't be purchasing again.

Quick Take: not as fragrant as you would hope
I don't find this body wash to be very moisturizing and the scent is almost nonexistent. It smells good in the tube, but as soon as I put it on my skin the smell disappears in about 5 minutes. I expected more for the price.

I've been using Lavanilla Healthy Body Wash in Vanilla Coconut for several years. My skin is both oily and sensitive, and this body wash is one of the few that does not cause my skin to break out and still leaves my skin very soft. I love it for shaving, it helps the razor glide and I get very few nicks. The scent is quite pleasing although it will NOT leave a scent on your skin, if that is what you're seeking. I prefer something that leaves no scent so I can wear whatever perfume I choose, so this is perfect.

This was a disappointing purchase. Creamy as described, but the scent is weak and does not stay with you, as other cheaper bodywashes do. For the price I expected a lot more. I'll probably use it for shaving, but it seems like quite an expensive shave cream.

This is great for people who like very sweet vanilla smelling body wash. It was ok for shaving, but nothing special. My skin was soft after using and I don't hate it. I just don't like the smell.

This is the best bodywash I've come across. Fantastic scent, no parabens or sulfates and a multi-tasker too! I'm so sorry to received an update from Sephora that the Pure Vanilla scent has been discontinued. Please reconsider! I hope the other scents don't go the same way--this seems to be following a disconcerting pattern, e.g. the mysterious way that Lavanila body butters large and small disappeared from the online store one-by-one with no indication of their discontinuation.

I use this product maybe 1 time per week when I take a bath. It creats a beautiful bubble bath and leaves the skin soft and smelling great. My skin is sensitive and does require lotion when I use this product, but it works great with a vanilla scented lotion.

Vanilla Coconut -- nice but not exceptionally so

Okay, I'm definitely very spoiled -- Brown Sugar scrub by FRESH is my ultimate favorite body product. This Vanilla Coconut body wash is nice, but the smell is subtler than I would have liked & it doesn't linger -- at all. I think it's really overpriced as well. BUT I will add that the texture of the body wash is exquisitely silky & it surely does make your skin feel great after you shower! In my case I can totally skip body moisturizer after using this wash. I would have given this 4 stars if it were less expensive. But not 5 stars, because I'd really have liked the coconut smell to be much richer & last much longer.

Wonderful scent

I am a huge fan of this company and products. I wear the lavanilla perfume so was excited to see the body wash. I was a bit hesitant on the price, but am sold! It smells great, lathers nicely and doubles as a shaving cream. The fragrance does stay with you.
