i am very pale skinned... took a shower got out, excited to put on my new lotion, Smelled GREAT!!! Put a dot on my arms legs and stomach, started rubbing in COMPLETELY gold with a LOT of glitter...Not just a little sheen... I looked like one of the Egyptian mummies. I already had it on my arms so finished the body washed my hands and waited for it to dry like the bottle said....It never soaked into my skin, just got all over anything i touched.....had to get back in the shower to rinse it off....returned today.

It's nice except for the fact it doesn't moisturize. It's very watery and very gold! It also never absorbed in my skin, just leaving a greasy residue without the moisture.

Love the smell! Smells like a vanilla cupcake! Does have a lot of shimmer/glitter so I think this would be great for beach or closer to the summer months. It's very thick so I will probably mix this with coconut oil to thin it out. Was a good deal but I probably won't purchase again unless I see it on sale. Love Pacifica products though!

I purchased this product over the Lorac Tantalizer body bronzer and I am so glad I did! I have been a habitual buyer of the Lorac bronzer for sometime now, but when I saw this, and tried it on, I knew that this would be my new go-to! It smells so amazing and the color may look "orangy" when you open it, but it transforms to the perfect bronze shade once you rub it on! Plus, the shimmer is just enough to give you the perfect sultry glow. I have had no problems with drying time or the body butter transferring to my clothes.. I simply apply it when I get out of the shower, wait literally a minute (if that) and then I'm good to go! You will love this, and you simply CANNOT beat the price right now, plus the 8oz size is the perfect amount, and makes it totally worth every penny (even if I have to pay full price in the future!!) - Enjoy! xo

As one fair-skinned lady, the first place I applied this was my face, which wasn't a smart move on my part. This stuff is so loaded with glitter that I felt like Tobias Fünke wearing the diamond cream. Since it was too late to turn back, I also applied it to my legs and headed to work. Once I got to work (about 45 minutes later), I put one knee on the seat and leaned across to grab my bag. When I stood up, I noticed that the bronzer had left a knee-sized streak on the seat, and my knee was its regular pale hue. The glitter stuck, though. The scent is on par with other Pacifica products: a bit strong at first, but it wears off.

MIX with regular lotion!!!

I really love this lotion, BUT I agree with everyone else it's much much better when used with a regular lotion. I use a 'large pea' sized drop and just mix together with my regular lotion and it's perfect. I'm not tan right now so it realy makes my skin look healthier. There's just enough of a tint to make a difference. Also when mixed it gives a slight sheen instead of sparkle. I'm not one for steppin' out brighter than the sun and smelling like a human coconut. Very easy fix tho...just mix it.

This product is pretty good. The price aspect check around, at T.J.Maxx I got this product for $3.00! As for the formula, a little goes a long way. The scent is nice. In this bronzing butter there is a lot of gold glitter, not so much bronzing as it is glittering.

This product is WELL-WORTH what you're going to spend for it!! I LOVE IT!! It smells absolutely awesome and gives a reallllly nice luminous glow to your skin but it's not tooooo much or toooo sparkly--it's just right!! The bronze tint blends nicely with your skin tone and doesn't look fake at all either!! BEST BODY CREAM EVER!!!

It is thinck like a body butter and really is not a bronzer at all. It is a white pearl shimmer. It smells great but seems to rub off fast and gets the shimmer all over you clothes. I will be saving this for the summer and only when I am in my swimsuit. That way if it rubs off and gets all over I won't care.

not a great product for us fair skinned folk. Looks okay if you;re already tanned and just looking for a little extra shimmer.......but doesn't blend well so it was pretty obvious i had put this cream on......plus it kinda rubbed off onto my blouse wich now has to be dry cleaned.
Will need to wear only with dark brown or a black outfit.

I love this moisturizer! Downsides: It is almost overly shimmery, and it is very thick so it is hard to blend in. Both of these issues go away when mixed with another body lotion.
It looks orange when it comes out of the tube but doesn't look very orange once blended. Overall, it has a yummy scent and gives a perfect summer glow!

And while you're at it, try not to sweat. Or move. It stained the inside of two different shirts, not to mention the residual glitter that rubbed off in my bra. Too bad, because it smells wonderful and is a great moisturizer. And I think it is probably too heavy to use in the summer when you could really appreciate the bronzing properties.

Although this product smells quite yummy, the application of this cream/lotion is too thick. The pearl bronzing is like a waxy coat of heavy waterproof hand protection.....not flattering to the arms or legs.. There is no buttery feeling to it and it has all light/white pearl affect with no bronze.
