Great stuff

Quick Take: fabulous
This the first time I've used Two Faced Shadow Insurance Lemon Drop Color Correcting eye shadow primer. I really like it, this product will be my go to primer from this point forward.

Good as a primer, ok as color correcting
-03.27.13
Quick Take: crease resistant
It provides a great base for applying shadow, but I do not see a difference in the discoloration on my lids. Also, I still have to use a setting spray to keep the makeup on.

Love it

It does what it says on the label! No more dark shadows or redness around my eyes. Keeps my eyeshadow on for long workdays. This is something I will definitely buy again :)

This stuff rocks!
-03.10.13
Quick Take: color correcting, creamy, crease resistant
I've used several eye shadow primers over the years and this one is - by far - the best. It goes on super smooth and my eye shadow lasts ALL day with absolutely no creasing.

Didn't quite live up to my expectations
-02.18.13
Quick Take: crease resistant
I was hoping for more of the color correcting that this product claims. Wtih color correction, the eyeshadow should look like it is on a colorless palette. The product is just way too thin to live up to the name. On the upside...this would be a great product if I weren't looking for color correction. It's very blendable and not as heavy as some other makeup line's primers

Too thin
-01.17.13
My eyelids get red from using a certain lash growing solution and I find that this product doesn't cover the redness. The consistency is too thin. It works but only if I put on multiple coats. Doesn't crease and the yellow tint seems to work. I'm not returning it but I'm not sure if I will buy it again.

Not seeing much difference in using this
-01.02.13
it is meant to correct eye lids color and make the products last longer... new to make-up. but do not see a lot differences in putting this on before eye shadow. A bit disappointed

Great Primer
-12.15.12
Quick Take: color correcting, creamy, crease resistant, just plain wonderful!
This primer is creates a wonderul canvas for putting on eye shadow. At the end of the day I either have no crease or maybe just the slightest of one. I can hardly believe how it makes your shadow just last and last, I love how it takes the redness out of your lids.

A must-have item
-12.11.12
Quick Take: color correcting, creamy, crease resistant, time saver
I love this product. It really helps neutralize darkness around the eye. I also use it in place of eye shadow when I am in a hurry. I just blend it all over my eye lid and dab a little in the corner of my eye, use a neutral eye pencil and a quick wash of mascara and I am done--it's fast and fresh when I am in a hurry. I like this stuff so much that I gave a tube to two of my best friends!

my best sephora purchase of the year
-11.22.12
Quick Take: does what it claims
I don't wear much eye shadow. I'm one of those girls who just can't seem to figure it out. But my eyelids are chronically red, made worse during Florida's seemingly never-ending allergy season. I went in Sephora during one particularly bad allergy-eye day and asked for help. One of the associates suggested this product. I am NOT going to say that it fixed all my problems and completely took the red away. But I will say that it does seem to neutralize it a little. The best part is that it does such a great job at priming my eyelids that a sweep of my powder foundation takes away the rest of the red and it stays on crease-free all day. I was previously using NARS primer, which works a little too well (I had a hellish time getting it off at the end of the day). With this, the powder (or on the rare occasion that I get courageous, the eye shadow) stays on all day without creasing, but comes off relatively easily at night. I wish it did even more to decrease my redness, but I really like the product a lot. I prefer the tube that this product comes in to the NARS wand applicator also. I just feel that this is more sanitary. I will definitely repurchase when I run out, and I almost never repurchase beauty items.

Didn't Work Out For Me
-09.12.12
Quick Take: crease resistant, thin, unpigmented
I love the original Too Faced Shadow Insurance, and was in heaven at the idea of having a variety that could cancel out the darkness around my eyes. Unfortunately, this was too thin and didn't have nearly enough yellow pigment to cancel out the blue-ish tones I have. Maybe it works better if you have brown or red imperfections? I'll just still with the regular Shadow Insurance from now on.

GREAT!
-09.08.12
Quick Take: lasting, concealing, smooth
I use Too Faced Shadow Insurane now for awhile. I was on u-Tube watching Make-up tutorials and several people loved the Lemon Drop version as it hid eye lid and area imperfections"
Well it's incredible, I use either but the Lemon Drop looks great under goldstone, brown, copper, taupe and beige shadows.. It gives it a wonderful color boost. Shadow does stay put. It's a great product

This primer really works!
-09.02.12
Quick Take: creamy, crease resistant, color correcting, long lasting
Now that I am older, I noticed the eyeshadow I use never looked true their color on my eyelids but they looked perfect on my daughter's eyes. I tried a regular eye primer but it did not help. After taking a closer look at my lids they did look more like dark red than skin color. I began looking for a different primer and came across the Too Faced Lemon Drop Color Correcting Eye Shadow Primer and thought I would give it a try. This stuff is awesome!!! Not only did my eyeshadows look true to color again, but I began even wearing the primer on my lids without eyeshadow because it completely changed the way my eyes looked. I put this stuff on and it made me look younger! I'm 41 so I need all the help I can get. Try this primer, I highly recommend it!!!

Boosts Color, Prevents Creasing!
-08.29.12
Quick Take: color correcting, crease resistant
SUMMARY: Too Faced's Shadow Insurance in Lemon Drop evens, brightens, and smooths eyelids to keep eyeshadow creaseless and rich for hours.
LOOK: Doesn't tint your skin yellow although the cream is yellowish (to help even out eyelid skin tone); the cream is minimally shimmery itself but isn't shimmery on your lids (the shimmer just brightens your lids); results in significantly richer eyeshadow color than without use of the primer.
FEEL: Weightless; non-sticky; non-drying and non-moisturizing; goes on smoothly.
SMELL: almost scentless; no fragrance.
USABILITY: Tube allows easy control of amount dispensed per use; primer can be applied with fingertips; a little goes a long way.
VALUE: Good value; lasts about 4 months when used once a day, 6 days a week.

A New Favorite
-07.23.12
Quick Take: long-lasting, effective
This is my new go-to eye shadow primer and I don't think I'll ever give it up! My eyelids are naturally very red and oily. Even with primer, my eye makeup never lasted more than a few hours. I'd used Benefit's Stay Don't Stray for several years, and was relatively happy - it was the best I'd found - until I found this! My shadow looks as good at 7 o'clock at night as it did when I applied it at 7 that morning. For the first time ever, I need to use eye makeup remover to get my eye makeup off rather than just using a little cleanser and water. (I'm not complaining, mind you!) This stuff WORKS!
I do wish there was more opaque coverage - like I said, my eyelids are really pretty red, and this primer doesn't neutralize that redness completely. I do need to apply a nude shadow over the primer to cover up residiual redness if I want a "makeup free" look. Overall, though, I'm so happy with the staying power of my eyeshadow that I would highly, highly recommend to anyone!

It's ok
-07.09.12
I have very dark pink eyelids and I was hoping that this would help. Unfortunately the yellow color interferes with the nude colored eyeshadows that I like to wear.
