Quick Take: portable, good variety of shades
I bought this because I realized that most of my eye shadow collections were sparkly. I needed some matte shadows to even things out, especially for work. This palette is really versatile and makes great daytime to nighttime looks. It even comes with a few how-tos. Love it!

I am in love with this shadow collection! The shades are versatile and they last all day. I can sweep them on in the morning and they still look just put on at the end of a long work day.

Quick Take: good value, matte perfection, long lasting, colors stay true
The three main and matte as it gets neutrals is the best reason to get this. The other colors are good, true and really deliver on impact. No whimps here. my only problem with the deep colors is the powder jumps off the brush and delivers a sprinkling on my cheekbone. This won't brush off, but needs to be washed, so take care and cover this with a tissue as you need. I love a matte eye for day and night for a sophisticated clean look. I love too faced and recommend the primer too. I can get sensitive to other primers but not this one.

Quick Take: portable, good value, neutral, wearable
this has become one of my fav palettes these days. the (many!) shades are versatile yet totally wearable for work/day. while i still love the Naked palettes, at the moment this has replaced it!
also love the packaging and the inclusion of those "help" cards for how to use the sets of shades.

I was in search for a good matte eye palette to switch up my look and wear on my "no make-up" make-up days. I have always had great luck with Too Faced products so i was very excited to find this! But i am disappointed to say the least. The colors are so pretty in the pan, but come off with little to no pigment. And blending? Near impossible. Where you place your brush is where they stay, in a huge blotch. I am going to continue working with it to maybe find a way to make this purchase not a waste but we shall see.
Final: save your money ladies.

Great selection of subtle and smoky shades for someone avoiding the frosted/metallic/irridescent look that dominates so many eyeshadow collections. Very pretty and soft for spring and summer and a supply that should be just enough to get you through August. Good quality, good price.

Quick Take: portable, good value, superbly soft and blendable, the perfect mix
Oh, do I love this palette. I am always searching for things that simplify my life. This set has every color I ever use, and the texture is so smooth and soft that I can blend them to make new ones. When I travel I like to have more than one eyeshadow, because really, how boring is one eyeshadow all the time. This set gives me variety without cluttering up my make-up case with multiple tiny little pots. I don't even need to bring a separate eyeliner, because these work so well at that too. The colors stay put all day. And every color works with my blue eyes and grey hair, even the Tufted Suede which I didn't think would. Honestly I can't believe I found something so perfect. What took me so long?

I bought this when I needed a small collection of shadows to keep in my travel bag. It has three distinct sets of shades - ligter for daytime, medium for classic, and darker for night wear. I have tried all of them, mixing and matching, and love it. Too Faced makes a great product, and the handy "eye shadow by number" inserts were a nice addition.

Quick Take: just what i was seeking, perfectly matte, silky, blendable, decent value
I'm glad to finally find a collection of shadows that are truly matte.
I don't quite understand why people find these colors difficult to blend, as I find them perfectly blendable. Use a shadow brush for application (I purchased one at Sephora), instead of a sponge tip applicator, and then use a small blush brush to blend...perhaps that will help. Definitely a good product!

I bought this palette because I loved the matte colors. I an uused to wearing urban decay eye shadows and when I tried this it was horrible! The colors where so not pigmented and didn't stay with primer. This palette was wayyyy to expensive for what it is!!

Quick Take: long lasting no creasing
This lasts from morning to late evening on my skin with no real creasing (I do use a shadow primer first) and little loss of pigment. The matte helps to not highlight any small wrinkles and sags like some glitter and shine shadows do. I have tried to follow the cards but inevitable use my own combinations. I am still trying to find a flattering way to use the vintage violet but the others are all good and they all blend well.

Patchy &; hard to blend.

I purchased this palette because of the beautiful colors and because they were all matte. However I was really disappointed when I tried them out. First, the colors are very gray and not true to color then what is on the pan. I really tried to like them but they were just not that pigmented. Also, as I was applying them they went on so patchy. I tried working with it and got a decent eye look. Lastily, my last con is that the shadows don't last long, a few hours after I applied them they were hardly visible.
I would like to add that I tried them with several primers and no primer at all. Also, I tried applying them several ways as well.
All in all, great colors and packaging but I highly disappointed. Tried this out for 2 weeks but will be returning.

Quick Take: awesome!
This is the first eye palette where I use every single color. I have brown eyes and fair skin and am in my late 40s, so I think sparkly shadows and shimmers don't work for me. The palette provides three complete looks plus you can just use one or two of the colors. The shadows go on lightly, which is nice so you don't look overly made up and the liners are nice and dark. If you're on the fence about this palette, go ahead and get it. It's the best shadow palette I've ever used.

Not as dark as I thought

So I got this palette b/c I had a job interview and I realized that all my eye shadows were sparkly and not matte. The colors were nice and subdued and I like how you can have three different looks. The one thing I would of liked it the shadows were more pigmented. On me I feel like I have to keep adding on to the light shadows just so that they can be seen. Maybe I have to wrong brushes or I'm not applying it correctly. But overall I do like the palette.
