Disappointed!

Absolutely disappointed with the Mini Duo. I love Best in Show, and have purchased this Dior Show for over 10 years, but never had I experienced having to buy three of the same item because of the same defect: the wand of the mascara broke off inside the tube on the first attempt to apply the mascara. Because I love the product so much I exchanged it twice hoping it wouldn't happen again, but the third time it broke was when I gave up.

Quick Take: volumizing
Love this duo! Have repurchased 3 or 4 times. Great for feathery-looking lashes. No point in getting the big tubes since I replace my mascara every few months. The serum makes a huge difference because it lets the mascara glide more easily through my lashes, preventing clumps. Obsessed, wish it came in the different colors the regular-sized Dior mascaras come in.

I loved the giant brush, but I felt that the mascara didn't do hardly anything for my lashes. The primer wasn't worth my time, I didn't feel that it did anything. For the price, I expected miracles. I can get a much better mascara that will do a better job for a better price.

I bought this hoping to see drastic changes in my lashes from using the primer. I think it's good for bottom lashes to help them stand out more but other than that I don't see myself going back to buy more.

I'd rather have a sharp stick in the eye. Complete agony and my lashes didn't look like anything special. Of course, the copious amounts of tears may make me a little biased.

Quick Take: lashy, volumizing, not clumpy
I've always wanted to try Dior mascara, but was afraid to shell out the $$$ if I may not end up liking it. This little duo was in the "impulse" section at Sephora, so I grabbed one, and I love it! Still haven't run out, but will probably buy the full sizes when I'm done with these.

Quick Take: long-lasting, the logical choice
I'm fussy about mascara, but also feel like dropping $40 on mascara is a bit much. This mini duo is the perfect compromise. Since you should be changing out your mascara every 3-4 months, there's not waste. My lashes look amazing, and this stuff stays put! Previously, it seemed like unless I had a "waterproof" mascara, it ran. Not with Dior- it gives me thick lashes in an instant.

Quick Take: volumizing, defining, lengthening
I would rate this 3.5 stars if it was possible. The mascara and primer are both worth buying but I would buy them full size next time. I don't touch up my mascara up through out the day so the small size does not benefit me in any way. The pros are that the primer does a great job lengthening and the mascara gives definition and volume. Also smells nice and washes off easily. Another major plus is the mascara is not too wet or dry, so adding on additional coats for a more dramatic look is easy and doesn't clump. The major con for me is the size makes it hard for me to hold and obviously makes it hard to put on as skillfully. I do not have the most steady hands so that might just be an issue for me.

Quick Take: volumizing, lengthening
This is one of my absolute most favorite mascaras. I do love the primers itch it as well. I have long eyelashes but they seem minuscule when I am not wearing mascara. But with this mascara I have been asked if I was wearing false eyelashes. I love it. I think it's the big fat brush that makes it so great.

I ordered two of these one to try out the product and the other to put in my travel bag. In the first box, I could not get the wand out of the primer tube and the mascara tube was broken in the second box both products were dried up.

Quick Take: too dry a formula flaked!
The primer is of no benefit to me since I use Latisse. I know Diprshow is supposed to be coveted as one of the best mascaras known to man. Not even close. Flakes, dries put within days. Stick with blackout or Extase. I guess this is a good travel value if you LIKE and use these products. I don't.
