Eau de Parfum is the better chocie

I kept wondering why I didn't enjoy this scent anymore - then it dawned on me that I had chosen the wrong scent! I loved the Lolita Lempicka Eau de Parfum, not the Eau de Toilette! And who would guess that there would be such a huge difference given the name was the same? The Eau de Toilette smells like a fruitier, sweeter (almost too sweet - it gave me a headache) version of Eau de Parfum and, like another reviewer noted, it smells like something a much, much older woman would wear.

This is the perfume that people got samples of over the summer but it is confusing to know which one you got because they both have the same name, but this is definitely the right one. I wore this at my 55-year-old aunt's house and she raved about it, then I had a 28-year-old guy friend smell it and he said it smelled like "an old lady" which I agreed with. I didn't like it. I did end up buying the other one in the dark purple bottle with ivy leaves on it and I like it a lot more.

It took awhile for this sent to grow on me but i love it. Its taste specific and unique, just like me, so it fits me personality well. i love the sent & i would recommend it to any girl who wants to smell pretty. Its light but noticeable.

Diapers???

Quick Take: powdery, mature, fades fast
When I read this product's description, it sounded perfect. Fruity, Floral, and Woodsy all in one. But when I put it on, my first thought was that it smelled like clean diapers. I couldn't smell any fruity-ness or anything at all. I waited for it to warm up on my skin but the smell didn't change. I had my sister smell the spot I put it and she thought it smelled like an elderly woman. So maybe it smells like a Depends? Whatever it is, I don't like it! The only good thing about this fragrance is that it fades quickly.

i dont rlly like this version the original smells very fruity and good i used to love it as a middle schooler but although this also smells very similar after a while it comes on too strong. blegh! it also has great staying power however

Quick Take: fruity, gourmand, sweet, sparkling
This reacts quite well with my skin chemistry, bringing out the gourmand notes and the fruit notes in equal measure, with a particularly strong blast of citrus at first spray. After the lemon zest (which kind of smelled grapefruity on me) dies down, I get a fruit compote scent, very tasty. This isn't the kind of fragrance I usually go for (got a generous sample with my last Sephora order) but I like it, and I would wear it again.

Quick Take: warm, inviting, soft
I like it but don'y love it. Got a sample. Will use the sample, but won't buy it. I smell vanilla and amber mostly on me. No floral and no fruit. Not strong, but soft which I like. Not interested in offending anyone. I am very very picky about scent though. I own five perfumes. I find one I like enough to buy every five years or so. Glad I have the sample. Good for nights out. I imagine men will like this scnet.

I wouldn't buy the entire bottle, but it does smell nice. Some people say it's like fabric softener and it is somewhat along those lines, but I kind of like that. It smells clean and simple.

I received sample of this in the mail with one of my purchases and I've been using it for the past couple days. The scent isn't amazing but it isn't horrible either; it's like a floral soap. I don't think I would buy the entire bottle, but I'll most likely finish the little sample I have.

Smells EXACTLY like Downy Simple Pleaures

I was excited to get this as sample because the description sounded interesting. When I put it on, I automatically had a sent memory...Downy Simple Pleasures in Lavender. I had my roomate sniff my arm and I asked, Do you like this? He replied, "Why are you wearing our fabric softner?"
This scent comes across more soft lavender /vanilla with a hint of wood behind it.
If u want this perfume save ur money and just wear the fabric softner! lol
I also have to agree with the comments about "smells like covering up stale cigarette smoke" Its not a very inviting perfume at all.

Quick Take: lovely
I got this scent as a sample and I like it better than the item I originally purchased. I am very picky when it comes to scents that I like and they are normally unexpected when I do find them. This, smells, great! Its seems more clean than floral and cleans what I go for. I am so buying this scent!

If you want to smell like an old lady, then buy this. I got this as a sample and wish I hadn't. It's going straight in the trash. The sad thing is that I really like L de Lolita Lempicka. This is not even anywhere close. Forewarned is forearmed!

I very much enjoy the Lolita Lempicka fragrances. I enjoyed my sample of Lolita Lempicka Eau de Toilette, which is classified as a woody Oriental fragrance. They have Prada classified in the same grouping, but this is a hundred times better than Prada which is "sedate." LL is romantic, and flirty, perhaps in a genteel sort of way, but flirty, nevertheless. I'm not a big fan of vanilla based fragrances but the vanilla in this is balanced out by everything else. It's romantic and feminine, and maybe a little bit powdery.
I've enjoyed both Lolita Lempicka Eau de Parfum (and also Fleur deCorail) in the past. I'm not sure why I stopped using them other than to say I've been gifted with a lot of fragrances recently, and seem to get caught up in using those others. Lolita Lempicka fragrances are all excellent, and come packaged in bottles that should be very attractive to those who collect perfume and fragrance bottles.
Lolita Lempicka Eau de Toilette contains a lot of notes I like - lemon zest, iris, jasmine, violet (wood) and almond, along with black cherry. The vanilla doesn't overpower, the way it does in some other fragrances. Although not a fan of musky fragrances, the musk is well blended so that it isn't obvious. I'm pleased how this fades out with no unpleasant discord. It lasts a relatively long time for an eau de toilette.
If you want a very beautiful fragrance, give this one a try.

This perfume smells like no other! I get complimented every time that i wear it. And not "you smell nice". More like a "d@mn girl what you wearing and were can I get some!!" I will always have this scent stocked at home.

This is the most beautiful perfume I have ever used. I am a lover of the old defunct Jessica McClintock and LouLou by Cacharel and this reminds me of them-very crisp and feminine. The lotion is actually longer lasting than the perfume.

I find Lolita Lempicka to be a womanly scent filled with citrus, yet deepened with the warmth of the black cherry, almond and vanilla tones. Takes a slightly different tone on each woman as it combines with your own skin scent. Highly sensual and loved by men.
