Quick Take: good value
I am a huge fan of eyeshadow and wear it daily. Although I'm very fair, these looks came out fantastic, by following instructions. How much easier/better can it get? Love them and highly recommend.

The colors are very pretty and did make my blue eyes pop. only thing I forgot was primer and well, it did not last. but this is perfect for someone who is not that into makeup since it gives you step by step on the box.

Let me start by saying I'm not a beginner when it comes to makeup and it's application. I needed to add a few dollars to my order to get free shipping and had spotted this item in the "sale" category before, so I added it. Who doesn't need more eyeshadow, right? I figured they would, at the very least, be decent quality shadows and I didn't have a good coppery eyeshadow in my beauty arsenal anyway. Well now I do. I'm very impressed by this palette. No, it's not the most travel-friendly sized palette, but the extra space is used to give instructions on how to apply the shadow. Very effective and considering how much space and what a hassle those little extra cards or instruction sheets are, the size of the palette isn't that bad. When I applied the natural eye, I had to be a little heavy handed with the crease color. It may just be my skin tone, but it didn't show up very well on the first application. I applied it again and it looked awesome. The smoky eye is gorgeous. The colors worked perfectly together. Last, but not least, the eyeliner. I liked it quite a bit. The pigmentation was dark and the formula was creamy and smooth. I haven't worn any of these shadows out yet, so I can't attest to the longevity of the shadows at this time. Overall, I am very pleased with my impulse purchase.

Quick Take: portable, good value
Overall this a great little kit but the "navy" shadow isn't really navy at all. It shows up as dull charcoal like color and dusts off onto your lower lash line and makes a mess. Not good. The other colors are great and I like the way the left side colors came out. Quick and not to difficult to figure out the placement of the colors. I'd purchase it again but I don't know if I'd recommend it to a friend.

They eye shadows were nice. The eyeliner is good also. I just didn't like following the step by step suggestions, i did my own thing I liked more. But for the discounted price, this was a steal.

I bought this for $10 and it was totally worth it. I am a product junkie and like to experiment. One side is a natural look, the other side is a smokey look. I actually combine them both. The colors are long wearing and have a metallic sheen, so no glitter. It has a nice thin black eyeliner that makes your eyes pop.

Gorgeous blue, warm and cool neutrals

This is my favorite of the Sephora Eye Lesson palettes, because it is actually a very wearable neutral palette with only one striking color, compared to the other palettes which have a lot more color to them.
The left side are warmer toned neutrals, and the right side are cool with a brilliant blue cobalt. It is hard to see how beautiful that blue shade is until you have it in person! Worn dry, the blue is a light dusting of soft cobalt - when applied damp with a sponge tip the color is vibrant, striking and the farthest thing from boring navy! I really like the middle shade on the left as well. It is the perfect mix of taupe/greige/mauve. Those type of shades are really hard for blue eyes to wear because they tend to make the eye area look red and tired, but this color is right on the mark. And seriously - for this price?! 6 Full sized eyeshadows plus a liner is a complete steal at half the price of one eyeshadow single! I'm picking up a couple more as gifts!

This palette is good...the nude and blue that are in this are great... The eyeliner was a good find too. Downside... it does take a little while of layering to get intense color. I wouldn't take this anywhere for on the go, it does get a little "dusty" if using a brush.

I bought this for my mom for her birthday. She loved the colors and everything but the eye pencil was a little dry. If the palette had come with a brush or mascara instead of the pencil I would have given it 5 stars but I just found it decreased the palette value overall.

Quick Take: portable, good value
Bought this for my aunt to replace her old makeup and she loves it! The only thing I would change is the fact that the instructions are in FRENCH.. Needless to say, she was very confused about what it was saying, but the pictures were helpful. I wish the blue wasn't as deep, but love the other colors!

I loved the whole left column of the palette, it really made my eyes pop (especially in pictures!). I was very satisfied with the gray and highlighter tones too. I didn't give this produce 5 stars because I found it hard to put on the blue eye shadow. Unlike the other colors, the blue needed to be applied heavily to be seen.

I'm very happy with this palette. I love the colors. I don't normally wear a lot of makeup unless I'm going out at night, so the "natural" look isn't very natural to me. But I like it a lot. I don't follow the lesson exactly but I can see where that would be helpful to people.
Pretty colors, good combos, long-lasting, and fits easily into my makeup bag. Highly recommend.

I bought this for the smokey eye pallette. There was no sample on the shelf in the store to view, so I bought a kit without trying it out. I was a bit disappointed with the colors when I got home. I have fair skin, so most colors don't show up very well or are too intense. The darker blue made me look like I had a black eye, while the other colors sort of faded away.
I do really like the neutral colors. They look great. I decided to keep the kit solely for the neutrals. For $20 and the space the kit takes up in my make up bag, I was hoping to be totally in love.
