Not just a primer.....

Quick Take: creamy, crease resistant, all day ware, vibrant color
I started wearing this about a year ago and I can't imagine going a day without it! It is a great base to other shades of violet/purple and even black/bronze for the smokey look. Great color with the added benefit of being able to wear ANY brand of eyeshadow over it and not worry about "staying power".

Bronzed twig is a perfect color for brown/hazel eyes. It has just the right amount of sparkle to make your eyes pop. The color is buildable and it's truly long-lasting! I'm downgrading it to 4 stars because of the price though...

Quick Take: a waste of money
The colors are NOTHING like they look online. They look dirty, muddy and like I have a black eye. Additionally, the consistency is super thick and very difficult to spread. I don't recommend this to anyone. RETURNING IT!

Bronzed twig is gorgeous for brown/hazel eyes and is one of the few eyeshadows that I'm not allergic to. Application is fairly easy though it does take some practice to get on just right. Looks great by itself or with most other eyeshadows. Best of all, no creasing for at least 12 hours! But I'm downgrading it 4 stars because $18 for 0.1oz is just ridiculous.

Quick Take: amazing...i keep ordering it!
I hardly ever use a whole bottle, tube or jar of any cosmetic and I've now bought this four times. It stays on ALL DAY; for real! It goes on easily and just a little bit at a time is needed. This used to be carried in the Sephora store at Legacy Place but now it's only on-line so I order it and get free shipping because I'll order multiples. This color is great to; a subtle purple/green shimmery shade. I'm a huge fan of Prime Time Shadow!!!!

I had gotten Dove Gray in a sample package and loved it. I've never tried eyelid primers before but I am a believer. It glides on easily and the color is vibrate. I am currently trying to obtain all of them

I really like fast and easy. This product fits. It looks great on the eye, and really stays put. I can use it alone for day and it works as a great base for a smokey eye look for night. Two thumbs up!

Quick Take: affordable long-lasting
This is quite frankly one of the best eye shadow primers on the market, especially if you wear a brown eye. I could wear my eye shadow for 24 hours in the Texas heat and NO CREASES. It pairs really well with Tarte's Cream Eyeshadow as well. Don't use too much, a little goes a long way!!

This stuff stays pretty well put- however; it is very pigmented, so a little bit is all you need, try to blend other shadow immediately after application as it will set and almost impossible to blend. More colors would be nice.

I've worn bare minerals for over 10 years and love these primer shadows. They have a. bit of frost and shine without being full-on discotheque glitter. Lasts through 16 hour work days without irritating sensitive and dry eyes.

Quick Take: crease resistant
I have several colors of this Primer Shadow, and it is simply the best! I am a fitness instructor, teaching at least 2-3 classes a day, and it does NOT crease or come off. It gives me a nice, healthy clean look throughout the day, as I have to stay and work out front after classes. Thank you BareMinerals!!

I purchased Sundance with the idea that I would wear it alone when I wanted a super quick make up day. It is great for that purpose and also works well as a primer, turning up the shade of your shadow slightly.

I got this in the colour Sundance [light skin, dark brown eyes]. It has a warm, yellow-orange base--the lightest of all the colours available. Surprisingly, it's flattering when blended out sheerly and had great staying power on hot, humid days. I think it works better without a base underneath and that's saying a lot since I have slightly oily lids. If the colour selection was better with more neutral, light tones--I'd buy more. The tube is tiny--you're getting very little product but a little goes a long way.

Quick Take: terrific
I recently had laser resurfacing and should only use mineral makeup. I bought the primer shadow in two shades. I couldn't be happier. This stuff has excellent pigment so you don't need to use much but best of all it stays all day without creasing. If I have one thing negative to say it would be that it seems a little drying but that won't prevent me from buying it again.

As soon as I saw the words "for oily eyelids" I knew I had to try this. It does everything it promised and more. It comes in a very small package but you do not have to use more than a micro dot. Great Stuff.

Got this in Sundance, which is a perfect peach shade that matches the discontinued Benefit Gilded pencil. I don't use it as a primer, but it provides an easy wash of color for a very natural look on me. However, it does seem to be expensive for the very small amount of product that you receive. It also sets up a little too quickly for me.

I have finally found what I have been looking for! I have, for quite some time, wanted a one-step creamy base/color for my lids that wouldn't crease. I tried a few, like Benefit's (creased after a few hours) and Clinique's (color was too sheer). I liked the Laura Mercier version, but didn't want to pay the price tag. This is my perfect solution and I'm so glad I tried it. Not a great color selection, but they happened to have the golden color I was looking for.
