Love this for my combo skin

Quick Take: lightweight, fast-absorbing
I have combo skin and this priming elixir is fabulous. I can't stand the slimy silicone feeling of other primers. This is like a wonderful non-greasy moisturizer that leaves my face feeling very smooth. PLEASE, PLEASE get this back in stock. It's very lightweight and absorbs quickly into skin.

This primer is made to be used with Kat's Lock it foundation and concealers. Then you spray on the setting spray. You should use all three products for the lasting all day wear. It does work however
I got the primer thinking it would be good for my sensitive skin , it said it is oil free and fragrance free, but the primer however did make me break out. I was break out free for months until I used the primer for the first time, I now only use this primer under my eyes. It does work well if used properly but I do not recommend it to people with oily acne prone skin or sensitive skin that breaks out easily. I do not break out from the foundation, concealer or setting spray so I still adore those and use those every day.

My favorite facial primer

Quick Take: evens out skintone, lightweight, fast-absorbing
I have found my holy grail facial primer. I have really oily skin, especially my t-zone. I would wash my face, moisturize it, and then put this on. I would let it set for about 2 mins and put my Smashbox BB cream in Dark on. I haven't had any problems with the oil on my skin all day. My skin was matte the entire day. I think it's a great product. It's not sticky or gooey, and there isn't a smell. It's a great facial primer for people with oily skin.

I used this with the K von D lock it foundation, which is pretty long lasting anyway. I do feel this works with the foundation to really finish your look. It doesn't have the greatest fragrance, but it isn't enough to turn me off. Once you smooth it on, it isn't noticable. It absorbed well and quickly and foundation went on easily after.

I found this product very liquidity. I dont have the best skin, but other products have worked well. I was excited to try this one but was quickly disappointed. I wouldn't buy this ever again.

I love Kat Von D's lipsticks! but I hadn't tried this product and I wish I tried a sample first. I have really sensitive skin and this did not agree with me I broke out really bad, and I don't have the box to return it :(

Quick Take: lightweight, not affective
Application was easy, the product is thin and this makes it easy to blend. However, this does not decrease the appearance of pores, my foundation just sunk into my pores and looked cake-y. I dont recommend, I returned this product.

I love this primer particularly during the winter when skin tends to be dry. This primer keeps skin moisturizer and balanced while also helping makeup stay in place.

I did not like this primer at all. I've purchased a lot of Kat Von D products, but this fell short. I hated how the bottle worked kinda like an eyedropper, but was awkward and messy. The primer itself had a faint, but rather unpleasant scent. A few of the other primers in this price range that I've tried improve the appearance of my skin before I even apply makeup, but not this one. It doesn't seem to really make my makeup look any better or stay on longer either. I will definitely being exchanging this for a better product.

Quick Take: soothing, complexion enhancing
This lighweight fluid makes the perfect compliment to Kat's amazing foundation. It only takes a drop from it's sanitary eyedropper for your whole face ad throat. If helps the foundation blend smooth and evenly over the skin for a mannequin smooth complexion.
I've only used it with the Kat Von D foundation, but I suspect it would work well with any. I like that it's paraben and oil free, making it nice for my combination acne prone skin.
It seems to prevent oil breakthrough in the afternoon and keeps my dry areas from feeling tight, itchy or becoming flaky (as it can this time of year).
The foundation works well without this, but this takes it over the top. It depends on how perfect you want to look.
Also seems to help the makeup remove better when it's time to take it off. (otherwise, I am cleansing and re-cleansing for what seems like ever!)

I love KVD cosmetics. Unfortunately this primer didn't work well for my skin. It was to heavy for me but it smelled fansltastic and has a good consistency. I would recommend trying this product, it just isn't one that is in my beauty bag.

So I went to Sephora one Saturday to purchase Kat Von D's Lock It Tattoo Foundation after seeing results from YouTube. The sales lady was very helpful and helped me choose the right shade and even 'made me up' since I walked in the store without any foundation. It just so happened that the exact shade I was matched to was sold out, so she wrote me a code for free shipping to order it online, and gave me a sample of demo shade to use in the meantime. Before I left, I almost forgot that I also wanted to try out the Rehab Priming Elixir. My only purchase that day was the RPE. Long story short, I've decided against purchasing her foundation because although it covers VERY WELL, it seems a bit unsettling if you have bad skin (wrinkles). BUT I FELL IN LOVE WITH KAT VON D'S REHAB PRIMING ELIXIR!!! I hope she NEVER discontinues this product. It evens everything out, makes my face look healthier, and sort of feels like silk after applying it. And my gosh! It does such a good job holding my foundation in place!! Sometimes, if I'm in a rush to leave the house and don't put on any foundation I AT LEAST slap this on my face if nothing else! Will DEFINITELY be purchasing again!

I purchased this to go with the foundation. I first wore the foundation without the Rehab Elixir and it wasn't so great.
Second time around, I used this elixir and the Lock It foundation. WOW! Amazing stuff.
Don't use the foundation without it.
