It takes a lil work to get the best application. U need to take a lil time to play with it. I apply thin coat(s) then i use a metal lash comb to comb thru any clumps. I have noticed it looks different with different mascaras. I ♥ it with benefits -there real & m.u.f.e -smoky lash. Make sure u wipe off the applicator. U can even apply with a old/extra mascara brush. Amazing product, with a lil work. Can give u a lil extra oomph or super dramatic false looking lashes.

It lasted less than a month and completely dried out. There was very little product, and it was difficult to work with. If you want the "inky" lashes take a little gel eyeliner on an cleaned old mascara wand or spoolie and apply to the tips of you lashes.

This product is fabulous. I use it to accent my lower lashes. Two things:1) you need to make sure you have enough time to apply it. You have to be very carful with it. 2) you need time to let it dry so it won't smudge. Otherwise, I love it. I can paint eyelashes that is hard for the mascara to reach.

I heard so many great things about this product. Therefore, I was excited to buy it. I bought it and when I got home it was all dried out. I could not get anything out of the bottle. I went back to Sephora the next day and the girl told me it was supposed to be like that. I thought maybe I should give it one more try. I took the wand out again and there was nothing. I am returning this ASAP! I wish I could give it 0 stars. If they make the product to the standard it should be I might consider buying it again. Makes me sad because I was really looking forward to it.

Quick Take: defective
I normally LOVE this product. However, I've been trying to buy a new tube with no luck. I've bought two, only to bring them home to find them completely dried out. I went back to my local sephora to exchange. I opened all four of the packages they had on the floor so I wouldn't get a dry one again. And, all four they had for sale were dried up. Something is clearly wrong with this product.

im still working with this product. i really wanted to like it- its a great idea and i really want glossy black lashes. initally ordered from sephora and the one i got was dried up and the brush stuck together when it arrived. so i had to take it to the sephora store and exchange it for a good one. ive used it a few times over various mascaras and dont really notice much difference. Maybe my mascaras are all so good that the lash lacquer just isnt needed or maybe i need to apply like 10 coats. i dont know and will keep working with it. but honestly i probably wont repurchase this after i use it up.

I tried it and it did nothing to lengthen my lashes nor give it the fuller or dramatic effect I was hoping to get (tried it with and without mascara). It also dries up way too fast. After 2 weeks I had to have it replaced and yet the replacement started getting chunky after a week and a half--not what I was expecting in terms of quality for $20+
You're better off using false lashes or getting lash extensions than getting this product.

Quick Take: volumizing, defining, no animal testing
I love this product!
Even though it doesn't give the added length I was after, when applied with care it does give an ultra-glossy look and connects lashes for a dramatically volumized "falsies" look. It is PERFECT to use on lashes after mascara when you are going to apply real falsies!
Bonus: No animal testing!

I love how it make the lashes extra glossy and super dark, but it caused more clumps than any mascara I have ever used. The price is not worth the amount of time that you need to have in order to unclump and be extremely careful. Plus, I didn't see much of a difference in length like i had hoped. I will be returning this product soon.

Quick Take: awful!
I got this product to use with the Hourglass mascara, and I was very unsatisfied. The mascara worked great, but when I went to apply the lacquer over it, it didn't work. The product wasn't even coming off the brush. It looked like it was just dried on to the brush......NOT GOOD!

It is very inky, very glossy, and very black. The problem? It kind of goes everywhere if you're not careful. Also, it takes a long time to perfect your lashes with this. If you're willing to take the time to apply this lash lacquer, then by all means, buy it! It does what it says in the description. Just beware of how inky it can get.

I really wanted to like this product, as I love mascara and always try to emphasize my eyelashes. It is beautifully glossy once it is on (over mascara) but I found it just made the lashes clump together and look messy. It just didn't make enough of a difference to be worth the effort or $. Also made a real mess when I washed off my makeup!

A sales girl recommended this product after telling her that I liked mascaras that added volume and length. I like the look of false lashes, but I don't want to have to wear them. After putting this on over my mascara, all it did was clump my lashes together. This was even after I had already combed and separated them. I didn't notice any difference in the length, like she said I would. It just made them hard and clumpy. If you use a great mascara, you shouldn't need this. I use "They're Real" by Benefit and I will never use anything else. It truly gives that false lash effect. This product is NOT worth the time or money.

Quick Take: lengthening
This product is great for what it's meant for, a lengthening dramatic look to darken lashes. I use it over my mascara to give my lashes a pop of drama. It coats over your mascara and adds some length to the tips. You have to make sure that your lashes are combed out or it can get clumpy. Also, this lasts forever, I'm prone to Raccoon eyes and this formula did not smudge at all. I LOVE the packaging, it's so sleek and glamorous looking.
