Quick Take: portable, good value
With oily skin, I was worried this would fade or crease! Wears well all day long. Also, I put my makeup bad through a lot of abuse and this little kit holds up so well! after being dropped repeatedly, tossed about in my huge bag, etc. everything remains in one piece ! awesomeness!! also, i love that it comes with a beautifully black, long-wearing eyeliner instead of a lame applicator! it just finishes off a smoky eye really well! love it all!

Quick Take: portable, good value
i love ALL Kat Von D's stuff. her palettes are by far the best though. this one is particularly great for summer. great shimmer and shine, neutral colors, and great pigment, like all her stuff.
my only complaint with her shadows is that the more shimmery ones aren't packed very tightly. not the best for travel, and you lose a lot with ever stroke. sometimes i feel like i get more on the compact mirror than on my brush. but it's a really great deal.

Good product, the colors are absolutely lovely, they go on softly with one layer but can be built up. Very bendable, incredibly soft powder too. I do get a bit of fallout if I don't tap my brush before applying colors, but it's not Urban Decay-level of fallout, and it brushes away easily.
The pencil is veeeeery dark black and I absolutely adore it. It's so creamy and glides on so easily, smudges nicely, and stays put once it sets. Will probably buy the full size pencil later.
All in all a good palette.

Quick Take: portable, good value
From highlighting to deep crease colors this palette is just gorgeous. All the colors are shimmery except the deep brown on the right end of the palette. The black liner pencil is a deep black - creamy & smudgable.I wished there was at least ONE other non-shimmery color in the set to apply just above the crease. This is a nice palette for summer.

Quick Take: flattering shades
This palette is everything I've been looking for. The shades are strong, but neutral, so it never looks over done, and the range of shades allows you to create looks do everything from school to work, weddings to parties and everything in between. The shadows pick up generously, but I really haven't had a problem with fallout. As for the case, it feels substantial, and seems to be made out of a good-quality metal, with a large mirror. I also love that it comes with a sample-size autograph pencil, since I never use the tiny, hard to handle applicators that nose sets come with. The autograph pencil has become my go-to, and I see mysel purchasing a full sized one as soon as it runs out.

Great neutral palette!

Quick Take: portable, good value, versatile, pigmented
Great variety of neutral colors. They are all shimmery except for the darkest shade of brown, which is matte. I use any of the first three light colors below my browbone, and then I use one of the tans, gold, or browns on my eyelid. I am not good at pairing eyeshadow colors on my eyes but this palette makes it easy. The eyeshadow is pretty good quality as well.
The pencil is not my favorite, if only because of the color. The pencil itself is good quality, but I don't like to use black eyeliner for everyday. Looks too harsh on my fair skin.

Colors are deeply pigmented and long lasting when used with KVD's other products. Colors are rich and smooth and do not fade throughout the day. Go from day to evening look without much effort-def recommend.

Quick Take: portable, good value, universally flattering
This is my first Kat Von D eyeshadow palette, and I am VERY pleased. I am a very fair redhead, and many colors most girls have no problems with can look quite garish on me. I am happy to say that is not the case here! I have been able to create a number of looks without appearing like a circus escapee. The shadows are very high quality, soft and easy to blend. I really love the beautiful, sturdy packaging too. I will absolutely repurchase, and am looking forward to trying some other palettes. A+

I have purchased 2 previous Kat Von D kits. I was considering buying the naked or naked 2 from urban decay; however, I decide to purchase this instead. I love the softness and pigmentation of the colors. I think the neutral colors in this pallete are better than the Ludwig pallette. The eyeliner also glides on easily. I think I will consider buying the eyeliner pencil in the future.

I have numerous nude palettes but this one is still a great addition, super pigmented colours and lasts all day. Great item for taking on holiday as you can natural with the light colours or smoke it up for the evening, especially with the jet Black eyeliner.

Quick Take: portable, blendable, pigmented
This is a great little palette. The palette itself is made out of metal, and the closure is super strong. This makes it great for travel, which is why I bought it. I wanted neutrals that were going to be packaged "to go", and something with a decent size mirror. This little guy fits the bill to a T.
Colors are terrific (except the sparkly, powdery pink) for daytime looks, but there are a few mocha and chocolatey browns to darken your look for night, or if you want to be a bit more dramatic. They have great color payoff, and I use mine with the NARS primer, so I never have fading or creasing.
The eyeliner is a great creamy, blendable black. I didn't expect to like it, as I am very fair and don't usually do black smokey eyes (just makes me look dead), but for some reason the color of this black works! Yay for me.
I only use it when I am traveling (about every month) and have had it since November 2012, but you can barely even tell I've used it at all. Lots of color in the pans. Not like some I have gotten that are super shallow. I would totally repurchase based on my experience with it.

This palette is awesome. The color payoff os really great with most of the colors, and only the baby pink was a bit powdery. Really wonderful for transitionining between nigt and day looks. It also has a rather large mirror, which is a bonus.

These colors are way shimmery, very buildable for bold statements. Love the colors, can be soft if applied with brush. Using your finger or wet is very intense. I love the eyeliner that comes with it. Very creamy and stays put all day.

I went in to purchase the Naked palette, but the Sephora associate showed me the Kat Von D palette since it was a better value. I tried it and instantly fell in love!! I wear more of the colors that this palette has because I have medium tan skin (has less colors than Naked). I wear this palette every day and even at night, it never fails to last the entire time without creasing! Will be buying more Kat Von D make up in the future!

I use Kat VonD products almost exclusively. I have quite a few of her palates and my browns were getting low. Then along comes this glorious collection. I have so many combinations. Her eyeshadow has never creased on me, has great pigmentation, and always goes on so easy I feel like an expert.
