Bold and Colorful Palette!!!

Quick Take: portable, good value, long lasting, pigmented, bold
I adore this palette! I was amazed by how pigmented the colors were and how easy they were to apply! I especially love the purple shades! They are long lasting (especially when paired with Kat Von D's Eye Primer) and I get so many compliments when I wear them! This is such an amazing palette!!!

Quick Take: portable, good value
I have tried quite a few gray shadows and none of them had enough pigment. As with all Kat Von D eyeshadows, that was not an issue. Her palette is full of pigment and vibrance.

Perfect palette

Quick Take: flattering shades, wonderful textgure
The reviewer who used the words "buttery" was on target. The texture of these shadows is wonderful, and the colors are perfect. Since I'm unusually pale, some colors can make me look unhealthy. All of these look great whether layered lightly or placed for impact. My only complaint is that the case itself feels very flimsy and may not last very long.

Friend Loves It!

I bought this as a birthday gift. My friend loves dark colors for going out at night. She said these go on great and stay on all night, plus she loved the pigments and shimmer. Definitely glad I bought it for her!

I am a huge fan of Kat Von D, ever since her reality show "LA Ink" was aired!
I love metallic-looking shadows, so when I saw the shiny silver and grey, I KNEW I needed this palette! Also, I was never a fan of purple shadows, but the colours in this palette changed my mind.
You can make so many different looks with these colours! My favourite to do is a degrading smoky eye using Disco Dust all over the lid, then blending Linzy-Jane halfway from the outer corner to the centre of the lid. I then cut-crease with Ace of Spades and blend out with Violator. This look goes GREAT with the black liner (winged or not) and black or blue mascara! Makes green eyes POP.
Also, I do the same with the metallic tones, and it looks absolutely gorgeous, especially with any of Kat Von D's ravishing lipsticks!

Absolutely love this palette. This was my first purchase of any make up by Kat Von D. The shadows are so pigmented & I love the colors. I like dark shadows & I love that you dont have to keep going back for more color. The eyeliner pencil was a fantastic suprise. I have been using a liquid liner pen lately but this pencil was amazing. It went on smooth & had wonderful color. In all you are not going to regret buying this product. It has become one of my staples in my makeup bag. I feel lost without it!

I really wanted to love this and the colors are truly amazing and very well pigmented but by my lunch hour I noticed it had either disappeared or creased.. just not long wearing enough for me (especially for the price)

Favorite palette

This palette was my first Sephora purchase, and my first Kat Von D makeup item. At first, the shadow really irritated my eyes and I'm not sure why. This has happened to me before when I use purple eyeliner. But the more I used the palette, the more my eyes got used to it. I love the purples and the silvers in the palette, but sometimes the silver shadows have a blueish tint. Overall. this palette is great for an every day smoky eye.

I love all the colors and am very happy with this palette. The bonus autograph pencil is nice. The packaging is really pretty as well. However, the case is hinged like a clothes pin so,when you open it it will only lay completely flat and your only option is to do one handed makeup or do it facing straight down.

I have 3 other palettes from Kat Von D and this one certainly adds to the bunch (Beethoven, Ludwig, and Mi Vida Loca)! This is the only eye shadow I wear with confidence. It is highly pigmented and they last me for years. I love that I have the ability to mix and match from all of my different palettes! I like mixing this one with my favorite, the Mi Vida Loca rainbow palette. The only thing I am not happy about with this one is that the purples - ace and violator- look really dark on.
