Shades are not spectacular

I have hazel eyes and purchased this after seeing it in the store. I used it twice and found that it didn't really make my eyes "pop" and I honestly feel that you can get as good of an eyeshadow set geared to your color eyes in drugstores. I ended up returning this because I realized that I have other shadows that are very similar to these.

Pretty and Powerful Palette

Quick Take: portable, good value, versatile, pretty colors, highly pigmented, blend easily
I am a huge fan of Smashbox and they have hit the bullseye with this palette. These colors truly make my hazel eyes pop. The colors complement each other and build well. You can use the pale shades for day or go bolder with a smokey eye for night. (*My trick is to dampen the narrow end of the brush and use the darker shades as colored liner.) I'm so happy I purchased this palette and the price is very reasonable.

Quick Take: good value, blends easily
I love this palette. Smashbox makes great eye shadows. Their shadows have great color payoff, no fallout and they blend like a dream. I got this palette because I have green eyes. The colors make my eyes pop and you can create a bucnh of looks with just this one palette. For $39 6 shadows is a pretty great deal. I fell in love with Smashbox after buying one of the Smokeout palettes. I will continue you to buy Smashbox eye palettes.

Quick Take: portable, good value
I love the "soft trio"! It is buildable color and really makes the eyes pop. I would have given it 5 stars, but I am hesitant to use the "smoky trio", just because I usually don't do dark smoky shadows like these. However I have used the purple and blue-black colors in this palette as a liner and it looked great.
I also really like the packaging. It seems sturdy and like it may actually survive my makeup bag.
All in all a great product.

These shadows are very pretty and do in fact compliment my hazel eyes. I am a religious user of primer, Urban Decay actually. This shadow does not crease when I use my primer. Recommend!

Really Nice Colors

I was trying to find a palette that wasn't too shimmery - it's not for my older eyes. Found this one and liked it because it was supposed to enhance hazel eyes. It's a little shimmery but not too bad but I like the colors. A little bit of the darker colors goes a long way. It's was a good purchase for me.

I was looking for some purple shadow to complement my green eyes without making me look like I have a black eye! Saleslady pointed me to this kit - the top 3 colors are not ones I would ever have chosen for myself, but they look great! Bonus! They come off as more tan and med brown on my fair skin, even tho they look peach and khaki-green in the palette. The bottom 3 colors look great too. All the colors can go on with a light touch for a natural look or they can easily be built up into a more dramatic "smokey eye" look. Very happy with this purchase since I got 3 bonus colors I didn't even know I "needed" : )

I really like this palette. Since I've gotten it I've received multiple compliments on how great my makeup looks. The colors are perfect and are very complementary.
I normally wear the Too Faced palettes which I really like too but I like how this is formulated just for my eye color. I just wish it would have the lasting power that my Too Faced does. I will definitely need to wear my eye primer with this. I still love it though!

I recently ordered this product even though my eyes are more green than hazel. These shadows stay on well compared to others I've tried and go on smoothly. The pigments are rich and last without smudging, and the colors really do complement my eye color!

I think this palette is a good deal, and the colors bring out my hazel eyes even more than I expected. I think you do need to use a primer as these don't have incredible staying power, and I wish the formula were slightly more blendable. That said, I'm still very happy with it, and will purchase it again.

Sadly the colors in this palette do not blend well. I find they go on unevenly and are really difficult to blend with other colors. Sadly I threw the box away otherwise I would take this back in a heartbeat.
