This powder is absolutely perfect. Whenever I wear it I get tons of compliments on my skin(by Sephora employees too)!
This stuff is gold. I only wish the colors had more yellow in them. You can layer it like crazy and the finish is excellent.
Please don't change anything about the formulation Smashbox!

Probé este polvo compacto porque el que estaba utilizando antes había sido descontinuado y para mi sorpresa me encanto el resultado. Muy parecido al resultado de Nars pero más económico . Me encanta .

I love this pressed powder, I have used many different types and never stick w/ them because I hate that cakey look. My skin is very oily so you can imagine my struggle. This product works AMAZING, give a great coverage, mattifies your skin and does not leave it cakey what's so ever. Great product smashbox!!

Color is off. Consistency is corse. It flaked off into my purse. Quality is just not there---however, I like the slim size of the compact. I really love smash box products, but this one doesn't live up to the name.

I purchased this a few months ago and absolutely loved it. It was the perfect amount of coverage, and never once looked cakey on my combination skin. I only wish they would make a bigger size, I ran out of it too quickly!

I bought this for my slimmed-down office kit, and I have to say that for that purpose it's great - I love how slim the compact is, and how big the mirror is. I'm not a big fan of the applicator, but it works well enough if all you want to do is powder your nose. I'd use a brush for primary application.
The powder itself is soft and feels lovely; you really don't need much at all. It's a natural finish, but matte enough for my combination skin.

So before Smashbox I was using Makeup Forever duo mat in color 203.. which was recently discontinued so I was told that the Photo Set was comparable in shades so I went with that... To set the record straight, Duo Mat is better ( I can't believe they're discontinuing it) but I like the Photo Set... The only issue I have with the Photo Set is the ridiculous sponge applicatior. It's so rough and barely picks up the powder!- Smashbox has such good reviews with all of their products but this applicator is no bueno.

I wear this over the Smashbox BB cream and my skin has NEVER looked better! It gives me an absolutely flawless finish and I have gotten many compliments on how great my skin looks since I started wearing it. So happy to FINALLY find a powder that is light and natural looking, but also covers and evens out my skin tone. It vanishes on my face, but also covers up uneven spots and I think it makes me look younger--which is always great!!

I loved this powder at first. It creates a perfect, smooth, flawless looking complexion. However, my sister and I have found it to be drying. While it looks perfect, some of my more sensitive areas on my face crack by the end of the day, making me either put more powder on or exfoliate and start over. Also, it only lasts for about a month. I've had it for about 2-3 weeks and I can already see the metal at the bottom of the container through the powder. Not economical at all! I won't buy it again.

I went into my local sephora in search of a new powder compact, i asked one of the girls which one she would recommended for light to medium coverage for combination skin and it was between the smashbox photoset and another brand. I think its a little sheer and a little too dark for my skin tone. I was given the medium compact and Im going to try it with a different pad or brush for a application.

I use this powder over my Nars Syracuse sheer glow foundation and it's the perfect tone. I don't even have to use a lot to achieve the look I'm going for. With my makeup combo it all works in harmony to make a natural glow. I love that I can't feel this powder on my face but it give me such a radiant glow.

Quick Take: reduces shine, good value
I love pretty much all Smashbox face products. I normally buy the Halo Hydrating Powder however I just did not have the money for it this time around. I bought this instead and of course it is a wonderful product. I think it's a little too heavy for me as I am used to being able to use very little of the Halo powder and get great coverage, but I will use this until it's out.
