Quick Take: soft shimmer, sheer coverage
I love to highlight my cheek bones and this definitely does the job. It is one of the best out there. The reason I gave it four stars is because it is a bit difficult to really blend it in. I don't know if this normal for the product, because it is the first time I bought it.

I love to highlight my cheekbones and eyes, but this was a little TOO shimmery. The applicator is great for precision, though. I tried it along my cheekbones, on my brow bone, inner eye corners, and at my cupid's bow of the lip. Maybe the shade contrasted too much with my skin tone, but it just didn't work for me. I was looking for soft and glowy, not blinding pearlescent.

I like to use all matte makeups--matte blush, matte shadows, etc--and then use this on top in the inner corner of my eyes, top edge of my lips, top edge of my cheekbones and brow bone. It's like adding light, not sparkle.

This stuff is awesome for that extra twinkle/pick me up. It is a total splurge though for the price. I'm sure there's a product out there somewhere for a fraction of the price but this actually stays in place for a long time.

I like this product and it does add a nice shimmer. However, I find a little goes a long way with this. Instead of applying it directly to my face, I put some on a highlighter brush and then use it. I find that doing it that way blends it better and doesn't apply to much product at once.

This was my first time trying a luminizing product and I wasn't too happy with the results. I was hoping for a nice highlight to my cheekbones and down the bridge of my nose but it ended up blending in too well that it wasn't even noticeable on my medium-tan skin. If I put more on, in hopes of making it show up better, it made my face look powdery. So I decided to take this back and try a liquid luminizer instead. This product may work better on fair skin.

I probably like liquid highlights more because they are so luminous and moisturizing. I like a mildy wet/dewey look. No dry face. This highlighing powder is okay. But seems a bit drying. On my no makeup days, I mix it with a tinted moisturizer and it actually looks nice. I do not like the applicator -- limits my application technique. But, like I said you can mix this with another product and use your favorite brush for whatever look you are going for.

it's pretty much eyeshadow but they market it as an eye brightener, if you have medium to fair skin this is the product for you but if you're a darker skin tone it just looks too stark. Further they need to have a finer applicator so that it doesn't get all over your face.

I loved this product, it works exactly how it's supposed to, but I had a lot of trouble blending it in. It was also a little bit too expensive for how small it is - I wasn't expecting such a tiny amount! I prefer Physician's Formula, but this is perfect if you really want a perfectly even, dewy, fairytale look. I use it when I'm going out to clubs or with my friends because it's enticing and refreshing. :)

I love using highlighting powders, and I use them almost everyday to brighten up my face so I have quite a bit of experience with them, and I have tried tons of different products over the past few years. This highlighter is great because it stays on well, gives a nice, sophisticated pearl-like finish, and has a small brush that can easily deposit highlighter into the corners of your eyes. However, this product is EXTREMELY small for the amount of money you have to pay. I don't think its worth it.

Smashbox wasn't exaggerating when they named this product "luminizing powder". It opens the eyes, creates a dewy look but because it is so "luminizing" the powder gets everywhere.
Would this deter me from buying the product? Definitely not! My tip is to use dap some of the powder onto a separate brush. This way you have more control over where the "light" actually hits.

I've been using this for a few weeks now and I really like it. I use it mostly around my eyes since I wear glasses which darkens my eye area. It makes me look awake without looking fake. I haven't tried it on any other part of my face yet.

I really want to give this 5 stars, but it's kind of a lot of money to me for a highlighter. That being said, it's amazing. You can put it anywhere. Under your eyebrows (which is kind of hard to do in a way that doesn't make you look like a drag queen), the inner and/or outer corner of youe eyes, your cupid's bow (REALLY makes your lips pop!), the apple of your cheeks(which may be my favorite place to put it It makes my cheeks look amazing and my face looks brighter and more youthful). Anywhere you put it, it looks great but not overly made up. I got it in a Smashbox boxed set, so I didn't pay full priced for it. Otherwise I'm not sure if I would have. I've wanted to try this ever since I saw a demo of it on tv, but I just didn't want to pay so much for it. It lasts forever and it's so multi-functional that it's worth the money, but stil.

I got this in a kit for hazel eyes and it's my favorite product of everything that was included. I use this in the corners of my eyes for brightening. It' very blendable and doesn't look harsh. I love it!

This stuff is gorgeous! My sister applied it under my brows before my wedding, and then snapped a picture of me indoors with her cell phone camera. Really highlighted my eyes! This has a pearly finish - not glittery. Very classy.
